AgricultureShocking Truths About Your Degree That Befuddles The Youths About Agriculture by Ade3000yrs(op):
*Words Of Note To The Nigerian Youths, Degree Holders And About Agriculture And Enterprising Or Industrial Ventures!*_

*Throw Away That Degree Otherwise You Will Die Poor*

Most of the educated people in Nigeria are poor. Majority of the educated earn less than N55,000 for a salary before tax and other deductions. When the deductions are put into consideration, the net salary comes to around N50,000. The net salary then suffers from loan deductions of up to N15,000 leaving the salary at around N35,000. The landlord then demands for his N15,000 and monthly shopping takes away N10,000 leaving one with a N10,000. The bus will demand for N300 going to and from work and relatives get another N2,500. The whole salary is gone and borrowed money starts operating. The borrowed money includes short loans and salary advances.

The difference between poverty and prosperity is property. A prosperous person has property to his name while a poverty stricken person has no property to show. Using this understanding, therefore, most of the degree holders are poverty stricken, borrowing money to buy chicken and chips, pizza, and a car.

The biggest excuse for getting paid such low amounts of money and having to sit and work for another person for 30 days is THE DEGREE that one possesses and that’s all. This has made most of the degree holders very poor to poverty stricken and will die that way most likely. A degree holder does not know how to generate money unless that money is generated for the employer. A degree holder is so dependent on the salary that he can do anything to get a job but will not think of starting a business of his own to employ others.

Interesting Facts!

1. A degree holder is not prepared to sell chips, vegetables, garri, fruits, cold room business, grocery stores, pepper, tomatoes and day to day consumables but is very happy to work for hungry lion (companies).

2. A degree holder is not prepared to sell popcorn in the street but is very happy to work for Dangote outlet in the city and mum river-sides.

3. A degree holder is not prepared to sell second hand clothes but is very happy to be employed by Zenith Bank which the business of selling stocks and looking for customers in a scorching Sun.

4. A degree holder is not prepared to make N150,000 to #600,000 naira monthly doing his own business but is very happy to work in a banks till late hours getting paid between N25,000 to #250,000 naira monthly with a mortgage life hanging on loans with all the ambience accompanied with exotic furniture and flashy cars and classic home accessories and electronics.

5. A degree holder is not prepared to start a company and grow it in two to three years but will spend three years searching for a job.

6. A degree holder is not prepared to sell food to students but will be happy to be reporting to a boss with no qualifications as Office Assistant as long as he is paid between #30,000 Naira and #250,000 Naira for a salary.

7. A degree holder is so eager to get out of this country and work in another country than to spend time to develop his own country.

8. A degree holder staying in a foreign land (Nigerian) is very keen to condemn Nigeria but never contributing to the development of this country.

9. A Nigerian degree holder would rather sweep the streets of London or USA than start a business to make money in her father land – others work in people’s homes doing some work (cleaners).

10. A degree holder in Nigeria will watch porn on his laptop but never sit to write a book using the same laptop to sell and make money.

11. A degree holder will blame the government for lack of jobs even after he was on government bursary for him to have his degree.

12. It is typical in Nigeria to find a married man who is a degree holder to throw the weight of family responsibilities concerning bills and the burden of children school fees, accommodation and feeding on the wife with excuses that he has been sacked and still carrying his furnished CV about claiming to be looking for another Job while Thousands of stag illiterates farmers are making over #250,000 naira to #3,000,000 naira as net profit in agricultural engagements on a monthly basis depending on the scale and type of farming engaged in. The same demeaning thing for women claiming to be housewives with degrees meant only to service the kitchen, the dining and to lazy about the house with legs crossed on the couch in front of the TV, filing and painting their long finger nails expecting the man to come bag with fat envelope of money or good news of "The Company's Executive Sales Director is now late and am now appointed in replacement to fill the vacant office with expression of jubilation and anticipation and mouthful of testimony in Church the next Sunday for " God" to do more of miraculous testimony!!!! I know a lot of stag illiterate women out there in this great country called Nigeria making up to #200,000 Naira to #3,000,000 naira monthly from garri and cassava processing with sales of tomatoes and vegetables alone in this harsh time of great economic depression! Ask yourself who is your teacher and why have you gone to school to get a bad, good or quality Educationhuh??

13. Nigeria is blessed with young people who have master’s degree and others are doctors in different technical fields such as IT and Engineering but all of them have failed to create a cartoon character or develop a movie from the same instead very happy to buy Tom and Jerry for their children thereby promoting American and UK.

In a school I visit, I met a young man that is of very humble background. He does not speak English but sells Coke, Fanta and Sprite at #80 naira each making a profit of N10 on each drink. He also sells chips at N50 making a profit of N17 on each portion. Not less than 80 students buy chips and a drink every single day. This means he makes a profit of N27 for a drink and chips and a total profit of N2,160 per day…every single day. In ten days he makes a profit of N21,600 in twenty days N43,200 and in thirty days N64,800.

The degree holder working in a bank at the till gets a salary of N45,000 every month.

Why are the degree holders poor?

Because they have decided to pride themselves in a degree and failed to think better than a man who does not have even a certificate to his name.

Degree holders spend their time liking articles on linkedIn and facebook but never have any care in the world to implement what they like. Poverty starts from the mind, a mind that just likes things but never to implement those things.

If you want to progress, keep that degree and start thinking better than someone without a degree. There's no white collar Job anywhere bro!

Now the big question is this; What is poverty?? And who is a poor Manhuh
To the Americans and according to the American bureau of statistics, anyone who cannot afford US $1,660 Dollars equivalent to #620,000 Naira a month is a poor man. Meaning your senior lecturer is a poor man cause not a lot of them are paid such salaries that's why they lament for increment without most of them been able to think outside the box.

Believe me an average Senior University Lecturer with PhDs in respective field with over 30years in the academic field is aptly poor!!! This is because majority of our Profs, VCs, Senior and Junior lecturers have a poverty mindset but only know nothing else than paid and Salary employment as I challenge a lot of them any where I see the uncompromising once on this stance. Majority of this Nigerian academicians have a corrupt, poverty oriented and counter productive mindset therefore they produces poorly informed graduands who might never be able to turned a stone in their life time but instead will forever equally bet their life and fortune on paid jobs and salary. What infuriates me is that many of this academic staffs and workers makes the bulk of Nigerian ASUU claiming to be fighting for the interest of the staffs and students but instead are lie peddlers only advancing the interest of their pocket and looking for undue salary increment.

Look around you; Nigeria has for long been a service based economy for over 5 decades instead of a production based economy as other developed nations of the world tolled for tangible results.

Obafemi Awolowo and Doctor Michael Okpara has rightly said in the 60s, that the future of Nigeria solely depend on Agriculture and other industrial production ventures irregardless of your discipline.
Be prepared to get your hands dirty in Agriculture to include crop and livestock production and Also work like an ox for your business as In sweat and toil lies the sweetness of fine wine from a parent vine, Your hard work will pay off to be complemented with a lasting peace of mind.

If Your A Nigerian Abroad And Still subscribe to the bad news pedalling media that projects negativity about Nigeria, believe me no patriotic foreigner will do that for you but instead you will be shocked to hear that the next biggest multi billionaire in your village is a Lebanese or Chinese man who may come to open up factories and farms on almost every corners of your village having bought over half of your entire village and taking advantage of the opportunity at hand and finding solutions to problems you should be solving but instead chose to stay away for fear of imaginary witches and wizard that only exist in your head as you have chosen to continue to believe.

Note: Dont get me wrong, this is no effort to rubbish the need for a degree and quality education but to debunk the demeaning alibi that has been attached over the years as an amazing grace meal ticket. However, Knowledge is power as you will always need a good degree to make a sound or well informed judgement. Your degree is meant to make your life better by enabling you to think outside the box innovatively but not to be further mortgaged in the box of obscurity as it is currently the case with education and sense of value attached to degree in Nigeria and the entire African Continent.

AgricultureHow Bad Salary Job Can Sink Your Boat And Ruin Your Life Jacket by Ade3000yrs(op):
*How Far And How Bad Salary Job Can Ruin Your Life And How Entrepreneurship Can Prove Otherwise*

*Think about it!!*.

The moment you get out of bed, wash your face, *Water Company X,Y,Z Ltd* will be reading their meters and when you brush your teeth, *Pepsodent, Close Up, Oral B, Dabur or Colgate* will be earning on you. Same when you open your refrigerator early in the morning for a cup of beverage and to have slices of bread with margerine, Unilever, Nestle and Cardbury would be making some earnings off you. When you Charge your phone *PHCN* will be reading their meter. When you move from your house to the office or traveling interstate, *taxis or Uber, Wakanow, God Is Good, Libra, Edegbe, Rivers Transport Company, GUO, Agofure, Faith Motors, Akwaibom State Transport, Lagos BRT, Ifesinachi Or Young Shall grow, will be reading and taking record of their revenue along with the Toll gates on Lekki Epe Axis of The Lagos Metropolis.* *If u are driving, Filling Station Owners* will be collecting their share and when you check your *WhatsApp, Facebook, Outlook, Yahoo and Gmail* and other social media all these they are making a total of *$80 Dollars per social media and online users per month for getting your data to sell to add companies just as telecommunication companies will be making money on you on a daily basis*

So before you get out of the house you have already paid all these companies something. You have already spent money. Let me not even talk about the rest of the day. *So if you are going to bed without making money*, how are you going to foot all these bills??.

*Food for thought*
Do something about your life today. Start thinking about how to make money everyday. *Think Residual Income* Start with a small targeted amount and grow as you go. Start with something that will give u even if its *#100 or #200* a day. Its better than going to bed without making even a *a kobo*.

*Let's Put our faith into action, take risks and start something!*

*SALARY* alone can not solve your money problems. You need Secondary Source of income to balance.

*SALARY* is a *MEDICINE* for managing *POVERTY*, it doesn't *CURE* it. Only your *BUSINESS* or *INVESTMENT* Cures Poverty. Be Financially Intelligent... Have a Plan B.

*What is your Salary?* Please be Sincere …
Sorry I am not interested in the amount but the type of salary.

My friend, there are different type of salaries.
You will not understand unless you read to the end

There is no average income.
The rich are becoming richer, while the poor are getting poorer.
There is no middle class coz it has completely disappeared.

Salary is a specific amount of money that an employee is paid for work done.
The big question is Which type do you earn?

1. *Onion Salary:*
You grab it, you open it, and you cry.

2. *Storm Salary:*
You don’t know when
it’s coming or going.

3. *Menstrual Salary:*
It comes once a month
and lasts only four days.

4. *Magic Salary:*
You touch it and
it disappears.

5. *Amnesia Salary:*
You can’t remember
what you spent it on.

6. *Time Travelling Salary:*
You spend it paying various debts even before you collect it.

7. *Active Salary* - Once you stop working, it stops coming

_*Solution*_...?

*RESIDUAL Income* - You work once, and it keeps paying you over and over and over again even AFTER you have stopped working.

_Whether it's magic salary, amnesia salary or onion salary, When it *STOPS* coming, your life becomes unbearable._

Financial LITERACY is the tool needed to TRANSFORM your salary to RESIDUAL INCOME, so you can create financial freedom and time freedom.

ONLY YOUR INVESTMENT can keep you going even after all the onions, amnesia, traveling, active salaries have left you drenched.

Research has it that the poorest groups of people in the world are Salary earners, next to beggars.
They live in a vicious cycle of poverty managed on 30 days. Salary is continuously being awaited every month and any slight delay brings about heartbreaking anxiety, pressure and disappointment.
Salary Is a short term solution to a life time problem.

*Salary alone cannot solve your money problems. You need multiple Sources of income to balance.*
The tax return form contains about 11 income streams, salary is just one.

_Don't live Your Life fishing with just one hook, there are many fishes in the ocean._

*Salary is the MEDICINE for managing POVERTY, not to CURE it. Only your BUSINESS or INVESTMENT Cures Poverty.*

Most investors are not salary earners.
The difference between those beggars on the street and salary earners is one month salary.
Truncate the flow of their salary for one month and you would realized majority belong to the lower class.

_If you divide your salary by the current rate of exchange, you will discover that you are poorer relative to when you started work._
*Or* divide your salary per annum by 2000 hours to know what your one hour is worth.
If you do not have 3 months salary in savings, you are already poor.

*Being a salary earner is a mentality.* *Break it!*
*Your worth Is far more than your salary.*

_Salary Is the value someone has put on your effort, How much do you value yourself?_
*You can't increase in value, unless you VALUE yourself differently.*

_Life Is a trade off between time, effort and reward._ *To be rewarded more, you have to become more valuable.*
Most salary earners end up poor in the long and short term.

*I therefore urge every one of us to be Financially INTELLIGENT, Financially LITERATE and TRAIN OUR EYES TO SEE OPPORTUNITIES IN PROBLEMS.*
_Delve into entrepreneurship because Salary is a lifetime disappointment._

*Being a salary earner or investor is a decision.*
_Life Will not change until you decide._

If your A Nigerian abroad or overseas afraid to come back home to contribute your quota to develop your country, believe me no white man or foreigner will do that for you or at worse you will come back to discover the Chinese and Lebanese company has bought over half of your entire village while your taking safety in another mans land and paying tax in a foreign land but instead of your country. Nigeria will work if a good number of Nigerians are empowered with sufficient purchasing power to foot bill and pay government tax when due.

AgriculturePics Of A Small Scale fish farm with a budget of #7,000 Naira And #20,000 Naira by Ade3000yrs(op):
A Small scale fish farm budget Of between #7,000 Naira And #20,000 Naira.

If the start up capital for a fish farm is a challenge, you can as well use as many tanks as such as these for a start but put your stocking in good proportion to the space available and be sure to cover the top at night possible with strong nets or plywood with stones or planks on top because fishes are most active in the cool of the night and for you not to end up seeing your fishes litter the floor dead the next day.

Dont forget to have a tap below the drums to change the water regularly for replacement with fresh ones. You can have as many of this 200 litre drums in your compound for your mini catfish farm business as each one is sold between #4,000 to #7,000 naira as it varies from place to place and states to state. Each of this drums can take 1000 fingerlings or 500 juveniles but be to have a net in the mouth of your drain bucket or at the mouth of the tap to prevent your fingerlings from escaping away from the mouth of the tap. As they grow older, you must create a space for them by reducing their population as each can't accommodate more than 25 fishes of 1kg or 2kg fish per 200 litre drum. This should strictly be adhered so as to avoid suffocation and to avoid low oxygen supply.

Manual aerator can be supplied by suspending pipes and hose pipes as in the type used in the fuelling of your Gen set or flowering sprinklers or car wash hose for enough air stones in the water. I have effortlessly raised 500 fishes to 4kg each in the space of 5 months from this same tanks before and its not a magic nor rocket science. A lot of expository things I can't disclose here for a lot of formal and professional reasons. Its nothing new to raise catfish to the size of 4kg to 15kg.

Use your antibiotics and deworming drugs regularly and at intervals. Be careful when you administer sulphuric or sulphate drugs as it can become poisonous to fish making them easily stressed out. Change your water regularly and feed your fish well. Administer vitamin C especially on inception.

I have 8 question for all practising fish farmers and intending fish farmers these few questionshuh

1. Why are juveniles fish more preferred to pre shooters fingerlings instead of the later??
Why is it a fast trending norm for fish farmers to prefer to go for juvenile instead of fingerlings and who says juveniles are better and saferhuh

2. What is the difference between green fish eggs and golden brown eggs used for hatching?? Which is better for hatchinghuh

3. Why do some fish remain stunted after 4 to 6 months despite all the due feed and drugs and antibiotics administered and water changed regularly and yet your fish don't manage to attain 1kg despite all the efforts and resources expendedhuh

4. How many fish farmers knows about spawning and hatching and how to hatch their own fish and make sales from selling fingerlings and juvenileshuh

5. How many university agric graduates and department of fishery are practicing agric and have a genuine clue of how to start a fish farm and how to successfully manage a business section in fishery and how to hatch a fish when duehuh

6. What's the stocking capacity per pond and depending on the water volume and capacity??

7. How can you raise your fish to 2kg in 3 month?

8. How many fish farmers have inventive knowledge of how to market their products and yet make convincing and satisfactory profit from ithuh

I expect that a good fish farmer must be able to answer my 1st 3 or 1st 4 questions.

For more expository, comprehensive and illustrative videos on how to cut feed cost to near zero and revealing videos about fish farm, fish hatchery or spawning and brand of drugs to use on fish farm, then feel free to call Zion Joe Ventures, Suite 9 Olutoye Shopping complex, Oppo Royal Spring Hotel, Oshogbo, Osun State.
08141208884.

Who says you can't start fish farm on a small scalehuh
I want to see people try out their hands on something in the midst of biting recession and yet succeed as you may not need up to #20,000 naira or #50,000 naira to start something modest.

*Uses of Tarpaulin collapsible mobile pond*

It is ideal for urban dwellers and a very easy way to raise your own fish. The mobile ponds are ideal mobile fish pond for your both front yard and backyard farming.
Advantages of Using a Tarpaulin Collapsible Mobile Fish Pond:

1. It is non-toxic and non-corrosive.
2. It can hold water for as long as you want.
3. It can easily be removed and carried to another location.
4. Ideal for people who live in rented apartment
5. The use of the mobile ponds is cheaper compared to concrete tanks.
6. It is an ideal pond for a starter or anyone who wants to start small.
7. Not only ideal for fish farm but also for backyard snail project or snail project on a rented apartment
9. Ideal for Shrimps, prawns, all tropical fishes to include Catfish, Tilapia, e.t.c

Ideal for small and large projects as such as Aquatic or Snail Projects

NOTE!!!! As much as advice people to consider fishery venture instead of poultry on a large on a large scale, as less than a million naira can afford you 10,000 fishes to be groomed to a table size for the next 4 to 6 months, such cannot be attempted with poultry farming as both the concrete fish pond, mobile or collapsible tarpaulin fish tank and earthen pond have their comparative advantage to saving cost and cutting out on cost of feed and yet you get the best result to groom your fish from between 4kg to 10kg in 6 months. Such things you can never attempt in poultry farming as you can't afford to cut corners with feed in poultry & And yet fishery has less risk and less entrants market cost or capital as compared to poultry.

For those who have passion for fish farm but on a low budget. Don't allow lack of money to discourage you. believe me, you can also start fish farming on a very low budget of between #7,000 naira to #20,000 naira by getting big basin or "Sizeable water tank" as we believe it in Nigeria or get big disposable drums from industrial chemical plants of 200 liters to start your catfish or Tilapia catfish in your backyard without stress, pressure no headache. Even when all fingers are not equal, there's a way out for everyone.

However tragic but true, I don't believe in the African voodoo or juju spell. Without quality, organic and fresh food, people will continue to contract estranged illness and may die as a result of junk consumption! Save your family and yourself by embracing a culture of farming and love for Agriculture!
