Good evening everyone... Please I just got the roof measurement 450m for a 3 bedroom bungalow of 40 by 50ft....I am not sure it's the right measurement cos someone here that did a 4 bedroom was 370m.. Am I thinking too much?

I bought extra 110 pieces of 2x2x18 at 132,000ngn and the carpenters confirmed the woods are of great quality... He said the treatment would be after they are done with the wood work.

ask them to put it before put caccars, dats most preferable pls ,it's difficult to put after putting wood, thanks

I know someone who was invited to Government House, flight paid for, accomodation given at Government House Guest House for 2 weeks, but after all said and done didn't make up to 1 million from working on that short assignment.

This same guy was later given jobs worth hundreds of millions of Naira due to the relationships he fostered during that job that paid him in hundreds of thousands when when he was expecting a million or millions at most.

So manage small contracts well, cause you never know what doors contacts that give you small deals can open.

Solve the issue with your client. Maybe look into workplace insurance (yes, they have in Nigeria) to take care of your employees who are injured on the job.

Personally I don’t think a client should be involved in the injury of staff on job sites.

I don't ask him to give me money or anything, just want him to put it into consideration, it's the second team dat went there to finish the work, and when u gets there it was u see some complained about the work and dat installer has gone back to mainland , and I said u should send #20k to the man, so dat he can come and rectify what he complained for, dats is what cost all this,

We have an issue that we need to look into to fix this happenings.

My bathroom enclosure guy seems to be well learned in his industry. He sent his “boys” to do my job. I was practically begging him on WhatsApp not to send them alone and that I’ll even wait till he’s personally available. He said they can do it and they’ve done for the Sultan of Brunei (I’m joking). They came, they screwed it up as I suspected. He resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction 110% weeks later and in fact I’m asking him to do one more for me.

Contractors just need to do what they’re paid for.

Promises made, promises kept. Simple.
