In the book of Revelations, all versions mentioned Jesus saying He is the Morning Star.

How come in Isaiah 14:12, which speaks of Satan being cast out of heaven, instead of using his name Lucifer, they put Morning Star there?

Doesn't that mean that they are saying it is Jesus that was cast out of heaven?

If you translate Lucifer to English what does it mean?

Pls why are we enjoined to work out our salvation with fear and trembling? P ls I need an explanation on this.

The original scriptures that make make up the old and New Testaments of the Bible we read today were not written in English language but in Hebrew for the Old Testament and Greek for the New Testament.

Some words in the Greek could have different meanings and then requires different applications in different contexts. Since most of the early translators were not Christians but just translators, they put the meaning that made best made sense to them sometimes out of context (eg, the passage about baptising in the name the Father, son and Holy spirit that Muttleylaff explained earlier).

The Greek word "kai" is an example of those words.

"Kai" is a conjunction joining two words, phrases or clauses together.
"Kai" could mean; "and," "then," "even", "but", "that is" etc..
Application of each of those meaning of "kai" requires different approaches (4 of which I mentioned and which you termed "my theories".
Some translators interpreted or translated "kai" wrongly (either out of ignorance or in some cases to deliberately distort it's meaning.)

In my first "theory", "Kai" is translated as and as in, James and John etc.

In the second one "kai" is translated to mean "then". as in, "follow me, then I'll make you fishers of men". "and" can be used cos it won't change the meaning of the words.

In the 3rd and fourth, "kai" is correctly translated to mean "that is". As in "... some, pastor, that is, teachers (Eph 4:11). And in 1 Thess. 1:12, "the grace of our God, that is, the Lord Jesus Christ"..

Rev 5:13 also is rightly translated as, “..To him who sits on the throne, that is, the Lamb...."

I don't speak Greek or Hebrew. But I made my research to ascertain all these. I suggest you do the same.. Proper Bible interpretation can only be know if what you're reading in the Bible is correctly translated in the first place.

Just before that very John 10:30 you quoted
Jesus said in John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.



May be this verse will make you understand what he meant by 'one' with the father.

John 17:21-23
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one ; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

I believe these verses are not in anyway saying that Jesus disciples and his followers are the same as the person of Yahweh?



It is clear that the Jews misunderstood Jesus which was the reason for them to want to stone Him. He only said he is the Son of God the father, and you should notice him use the word 'father' in replying them. The Jews don't believe in God to beget, it's like a heresy to them. It's new and strange to them. So for someone to be Son of God to them meant the person claimed to be God.



Your misconception is still the same through out.

Is Jesus God? Yes
Is Jesus God the father? No
Does Jesus have a God above him? Yes

Yahweh the father is all in all, Greater than all and God to all. There is none like him.

Good morning brothers and sisters in Christ. There is something that has been bothering me on ''modern day christianity''. In all these Sunday jamborees, merchandise, politics, self conceit and hypocrisy going on in churches, how does one separate the wheat from the chaff? How does one extricate oneself to serve God in spirit and in truth. I am the type that seeks for truth in the bible and the warning from our Lord in Matt 24:24 is always ringing in my head. Fake pastors thrive on gullibility and superstitions, 2 very common traits found in Nigeria. People (including some so-called christians) still don't get the text: ''...you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free''.

I am a christian and all the points you raised are valid. They are exactly my grouse with the 'church'. Number 5 is the worst. If I see a GO's pic on a church board, my trust in that church goes down to 50%. If his wife's pic is included, it goes to 0%.

I am not a Witness, but if you want to lie against them, look for more tenable lies. They believe Jesus is the Christ, and they have more intelligent publications than even mainstream christian bodies proving that Jesus is Christ.

Pls where did Christ say we should tithe where you quoted? And I saw how you sneaked the word 'income' into that passage. Christ was talking to the pharisees and not to christians. And he was talking on tithing on crops, not money. Case in point, give a single passage in the bible where Christ asks his disciples about tithes.

It is right to some extent, it is also wrong to some extent.

The practice by JW is wrong in the sense that they are quick to disfellowship you if you question their doctrine or point out an error in it. They will not only disfellowship you but excommunicate you i.e they will stop talking to you in the society, and this includes your family members who will do the same to you too.

They are afraid that others will discover their falsehood, so they prevent them from talking to you.

As opposed to other denominations that will hug you when you point to their doctrinal errors, right?

Jesus Christ is God, as He is in the form of God. That is, He is of the same substance as God. But Jesus is NOT the same as Yahweh. Yahweh is superior. Yahweh is His Father. Yahweh is the Almighty God.

Denying Islam in the presence of her captors who want her to change her faith to Islam for her freedom is not necessary.
