Gay people in my opinion are not possessed. Religion makes many people think so because proponents of religion do not understand the complexity of homosexualism (same-sex attraction), and as not understanding something, homosexuality is labelled a sin.

A gay person is as normal and productive as a straight person, the major difference being in whom they choose to love.

I have in my many study about homosexualism not being able to bring one thing and tell you this is what is wrong with homosexualism or homosexual people. The only thing I would say is that my religion does not support it, and does not have clear reason(s) why it does not support it.

The event Paul spoke of OK n Thessalonians is the same event Jesus spoke of in Mathew 24. Read my post directly above this one to see both passages. You will see the similsrities e.g trumpet, angels, people being gathered to meet Jesus.

They are not two separate events but one.

I am in agreement with you. I was replying to someone saying rapture comes first. Revelation 20 shows clearly that those that will be involved in the first resurrection will pass through the great tribulation. Thessalonians say the first resurrection is the first event in the rapture. I don't know what gives people the impression that Christians will be taken before the great tribulation.

We just have to study John 14 and pray for Rhema.

Whenever you read any verse try to read some verses before and after it so you can get a clearer picture on what the Bible is trying to say and it's context.

Also know that the Bible was written FOR us but not every part was written TO us. Somd part were written to the Jews, some to the gentiles, some to the saved, some to the unsaved, some to the believer that falls into sin.
So make sure you know the intended audience of that passage for proper understanding of what the bible says there..

Note: The Bible seems to contradict itself only in the mind of a lazy Christian..
