At Barca he struggled with the No9 system and unleashed terror on teams with Messi at False 9.So seeing him doing "well" with Lewandonski and Aguero made me to realise Pep's will never win Champions league again unless he goes back to his system which is the false 9 and heavy possession system and maybe tweaking it with his current flare.Hes a coach that survives heavily on possession and he barely dominates possession against a determined team.

At Barca,only but a few games did teams go toe to toe with us.We completely outclassed teams from 0 minute to final whistle.Infact most of our losses came via Away Goals in the champions league in which teams had to score and had to be defensively disciplined like interested and Chelsea.But now,any team that matches him toe to toe will win him as he goes completely clueless on what to do and this has been seen in his champions league games away since he left Barca

Many will say because he had Messi,but we can't also forget how he made Villa,Pedro and Busquets the beasts they were.Now players from Academy barely bring out that potential under him.I remember how he played Yaya,Sylvinho in their unnatural positions in Rome in 2009,how he played a very inexperienced Busquet and how he made Manchester United play only 10mins in that final.We were hit with Injuries and suspensions for that game but we completely nullified a high flying Manchester United with Cristano and van der Saar.

He's gone to a team with experience in Bayern,has struggled in the champions league and once he gets to quarterfinals with this City team,he will be knocked out.Sorry to say but I don't see Pep's doing any wonders in the near future.

Suarez problem is very complex.This is because he can score those exceptional goals,dribble,link up very well with Messi and its very good in 1 v 1 but on the same hand he's decision makings at times is very good and you will be like wow and at times you will be wondering if it was an U-17 women player that played that pass.


Hes finishing this past few seasons has been on a 50 50 scale.I can still remember his goal against real sociedad last season,his goal today,his goal last week but I can still count the number of easy finishes he should've tucked away.He will perform fantastically in a game and still play horribly in the same game.


Whenever Messi gets injured,he becomes a beast putting a player of the month performance but once Messi shows,he goes back to default.Hes become 'lazy'.Lazy in terms of you know this guy has all the quality and what he can do but he just relaxes.Cause trust me Suarez can maintain the level of El Clasico performance but he just doesn't want to.

Another good game by the lads.The first half was not really that impressive as we lost a lot of possessions.Messi was a little bit sloppy.Alba was not in the game as he lost possessions too and all the attacks came from his position maybe due to his contract renewal issue.This guy needs a new contract for him to continue to perform.

We struggled with the pace of the game in the first half and the last minute changes of Semedo but once we got that first goal,it was over for them cause they didn't exploit Dembele's position.

Pique was our best player tonight.Covered Dembele a lot and made very important tackles.His best game for us this season

We wouldve scored more if Dembele was given much opportunity in attack.They never really stood a chance.They were terrible in defence and lost possessions a lot which we punished them


Vidal is by far our best signing this season.dude is a horse.won us free kicks,made tackles.His work rate was very high.Provided cover both for Alba and Dembele in the game and gave that extra edge in attack.Hope he continues like this

Replacing Suarez will be very difficult.Richarlison of Everton is good though but we need him to adapt to our kind of game.How many strikers will perform that nutmeg or that dummy he made today??Great game by him by the way.
