This man is far more a President than the inarticulate , uncoordinated, unexposed fake PhD holder that was there before. There is a clear minded, sure footed , aura about Buhari. There is also the indication that you don't have hidden puppet masters manipulating a dummy like you felt with Jonathan.

I don't know why PDP supporters are happy about this I think it is true that some people will die in poverty for a few people to be rich. Tom Polo's contract does nothing for the poor people in the Niger Delta and we hope that this more serious FG will ensure good service delivery and also force the man to employ a lot of youths otherwise it is just killing the Niger Delta. It is stupid to enrich a few people like Jonathan started. These are generational issues and the whole thing stupidly unsustainable. If Tom Polo dies today what happens?.
Nigerians keep their brains dead and just continue to move about like the living dead because of sentiments.

85% of Nairalnaders still never reach that age sef!

At 36 PHd should be in the bag. Some people wouldve stopped giving birth. Changed car like 4 times apartments like 3 times. Someone said omotola married at 18. In the Uk and US it is common.

i completely agree dut did these people get married to someone 36 fvcking years older than them?

Sanusi?

Northern Nigeria!

36 years age difference?

hmmm
Median IQ is very low in Nigeria. That is why people concern themselves with rubbish. I don't approve of child marriage but it is better than runs , prostitution and trafficking.
Amongst the people guilty of marriage to relatively young women in Nigeria we have Zik, Obj, Ojukwu (who actually married a distant acquaintance's daughter, Anenih, FFK and so many people of many tribes. Marriage to underaged women was so common in the early seventies in Lagos amongst Ibos , it was a popular joke on the streets about old Chidi and how he will soon travel home to bring his young wife to Lagos and introduce her as his "sister" whilst saving up for the bride price.
If we cannot respect other people's cultures we should keep SHUT and direct our attention to the Sugar Daddies, Aristos and all what not in the decadent citadels we call universities in Southern Nigeria.

Agreed. I think his communication skills are ZERO. You are not permitted to use Nigerian English in the public sphere. What the poor man meant was that he decided to live like a hermit for a year to recharge batteries and meditate. What came out was "I have been hiding", yet some people call him a great man. This is SILLY. Nigeria has been in dangerous zone since independence. Stop scaremongering. Nigeria killed 2million Ibos during the civil war. There have been many bloody coups. NPN looted the country, Buhari overthrew them and was il himself overthrown. IBB started corruption again and annulled a free and fair election. Abacha died in office. Obj nearly did third term and another President died 9n office until Dr Clueless Jonathan became president and compensated for his lack of leadership skills by giving everybody chance to steal.
Nigeria's history has been a sequence of evil, idiocy, tribalism, corruption and cluelessness that we are hoping that Buhari will correct.
Stop deceiving yourself and others as poorly informed as yourself. The country has walked in far far more dangerous roads than we are now and camenities out as one and stronger.
Discipline and anti corruption is the new watchword and it will be for 16 years after which a new Nigeria will emerge. Get prepared.

grin this are the reason i am against body language
1. The term body language, is stationary meaning workdone is at zero point but body odour is not stationary because it moves causing discomfort which is making every investors to pull out ..

2. Body language is neither a fundamental analysis or technical analysis which indicates the position in which investors are to follow for maximum profits...... When there is no indicator from the govt , investors pullout as the future on the long and short run is unceertain.

3. The reality on ground now is that this so called body language has chased major investors and also potential investors.

4. when a man tells u he knows nothing abt subsidy (petrol) know he is an economics illiterate and after the much talk abt subsidy d past yrs and he still knows nothing abt it, that tells u he is a total dull..ard without remedy

reality on ground shows we already have d greatest loss of investors this past 3 months
Jonathan regime did not attract true investors. They attracted hot, fast agile money through Okonjo Iweala that went into the stock market chasing quick returns . Now that agile money has moved without working for us due to the oil marketml. They were posting economic growth figures not backed proven by physical assets on the ground like factories, infrastructure and so on. If the growth they gave was genuine why would everything turn just because the oil and gas market changed and the price dropped by more than 120%. No new refineries was the worst done by that clueless man did. At least we would have earned money from refined products exports to the whole of West Africa. Saudi Arabia and all the gulf countries are now making big bucks from petrochemicals, where is Nigeria?. Body language Ko, body language ni.

BULLSHIT OF THE HIGHEST ORDER!!.
What is complex about a country of thieves?. Rubbish!!!.
Some people are embracing LIES as a stop gap measure to delay punishment for their transgressions and postpone necessary CHANGE .
What is complex about Nigeria that people can't stop stealing from children unborn? What is so complex that public and civil servants cannot discharge functions in a corruption free environment. Complexity Ko, complexity ni.
The only complex countries in the world are India, with about 10 different empires shaping it's history and more than 500 ethnic nationalities and religions. China as well is 1.6 billion people forcefully welded together by some ancient dynasties. Nigeria is just stupidly corrupt.
Why can't a young beautiful, intelligent young woman graduate from university without being harassed by dirty old lecturers?, Why are local governments not delivering value to Nigeria? CORRUPTION is the only problem.
As it is now , no restructuring can take place with corruption. Rich players including anew incumbent government can use money to sway anything their way.
We have to stop disgracing ourselves as black people. The white people seem to have our virus code and look down on us for it ; laziness, corruption, myopia, cowardice, tolerance of failure, fear of everything and clannish softness.

Since Buhari came to power, all we hear about is the fight on curruption. The value of the Naira is going down hill, jobs are being lost on a daily basis without new ones being created. I know someone out there might want to help Buhari and the APC on how to kill curruption without killing the economy. Nigerians, I know you to be resourceful people. Please forget party affiliation and offer your help in any way you can. This goverment is in distress and need help.
Okay. Your argument is evil. Corruption and the economy are mutually exclusive. There are many countries with good economies but with high standard of public ethics. Don't curse Nigeria and glorify the devil by saying one is impossible without the other. There are dangerous extensions of the argument that won't be palatable. If you have a daughter in university it is possible and in fact necessary for her to graduate in flying colours without 10 smelly old lecturers having their way with her. If it is possible and necessary for that to be able to happen then it is possible to kill corruption. Please let us stop idiocy in the name of trying to appear worldly wise and street smart. Corruption has to die for Nigeria to live and it will.

This man PMB is truly experienced and tactful. Yet some frustrated fellows will call him dullard. He aptly shared in my fears especially as relates to the judiciary. Going by previous pending cases and the current trend of judges stalling corruption charges against an obvious corrupt cases requires a change of strategy in reforming the judiciary. If he continues in similar path others follows i doubt much will be achieve in his administration.
Buhari is a God sent leader. No matter what the pressures may be from corrupt selfish politicians (that some misguided youths are foolishly dying for on tribalistic sentiments) or pressures from the profit seeking mercantilist western world Buhari will keep the faith and discharge his promises to Nigeria.
We need to keep away from id***ic thought patterns like a National conference will solve all issues. Big LIE. You need to punish all corrupt politicians of all tribes maybe even starting from the North so that Idiots can keep their mouths shut. Then a left of centre economic program that encourages local consumption so that we can have small scale manufacturing and service businesses springing one. Let us keep away from Dr Clueless's type of cronyism - a belief that only 100 people should be buIlt up to carry the entire economy of Africa's largest country and pride of the black man.

Tonye... the fact that people actually praise ur analysis shows the level of decay in Nigerian educational system
Let me educate u a little bit
1) a minister is a mere representative of the president in that ministry
2) the president can pass his directives or give instructions based on his manifesto to any ministery WITH OR WITHOUT A MINISTER
3) ministers are only needed when the president wants to reduce the work load on him.... And if the president is not complaining..... I wonder y u should.. ....
..
Thank you for your post. I believe now Nigeria is in trouble. People just don't know anything anymore. The Nigerian President is the mandate holder. All the ministers are appointed by him. This is what knowledge- able peoplet have been debating but Nigeria's half educated youth don't even know. The office of President holds very much power . Even Jonathan once said if he used 50% of his powers the country may get into trouble . So reading about young people posting trash like..."it is dictatorial for the President not to have Ministers" , I am really sorry for this generation. No minister stands up to the President any way. We are running a Presidential system not parliamentary.
People should just shut-up and watch. It is Buhari's time as President and circumstances have put him in a powerful position. The heads of the legislature that are supposed to ask the questions, they have rigged themselves into office without power and are cannot even secure their positions .

How can you say Jonathan is better than anybody?.
Nigeria is a proud country of great empires and kingdoms. I ask you in what tribal culture is the character of Jonathan accepted in a president?
If it is accepted in yours, then your tribe is finished.
it is a testament to how things have fallen that you can say that Jonathan was even average.. Do you travel?. Do you read international news?.
Nigeria is a joke. A zoo. In their last weeks in governance they wrecked everything. Stealing childishly whilst the western world tracked all transfers on their database. keep deceiving yourself.
The missing quality in the last government was a lack of profoundness. A weak , inexperienced president being jerked around by his Ministers, his Godfathers and his wife. Four ministers were good and we saw some progress in those sectors but they never compensated for a weak on prepared president.
I always ask people to provide for me books, articles, suggestions, lectures, social services undertaken by Jonathan before Obj thrust him above more "equipped" people into the VP role...Nothing, complete regular Joe brought into governance by Alams and then he got lucky. It is not difficult to unify Nigeria along a common African ideology , it is easy with the right person.

There PDP guys have mental problems. If the money transfer process started during Yaradua and extended to GEJ'S regime it is wrong to give GEJ or PMB the credit . Jonathan would not have done / would not do any any loot recovery from any of his preceding administrations . His character was diametrically opposed to such things.

Commercial banks are expected to source funds from the international monetary system. The standards are higher and efficiency is better when you are lending out funds composed of US workers retirement and pensions or another big US bank. No rubbish is tolerated and it will make the banks more professional. Depending on cheap free government money is unsustainable.
