The Housemates had their dairy sessions with Big Brother today. During their dairy sessions, Big Brother asked them what they have learnt about their fellow housemates since they got into the housemates. Recall that Big Brother had initially given them a challenge to find out relevant information about each other before the week runs out.

Big Brother gave them this task because there are two wildcards in the house with them. He instructed them to get to know each other very well in order to figure out the wildcards among them before their eviction night on Sunday. If the housemates are unable to find the wildcards in the house by then, the wild cards will automatically become part of them and compete for the grand prize.

Big Brother would also give the wildcards exclusive power to nominate housemates of their choice for possible eviction if their identities remain unknown to the housemates. However, if the housemates were able to unveil the identities of the wildcards, Big Brother would evict the wildcards effective immediately.

During their diary sessions, Big Brother asked all of them how their hunt for the wildcards is going; he asked if they believe they would win the challenge before the week runs out. Most of them said that the possibility to figure out the wildcards is very slim because the wildcards know what they are and they would try as much as possible to ensure their identities are not unveiled.

How Emmanuel got the clue that may help him confirm if his guesses are wrong or not

Emmanuel told Big Brother during his own diary session that he has been thinking and trying to connect the dots together just to find out who these wildcards are but his efforts have not produced anything concrete yet.

He said he might have been silent and quiet all day but he has been thinking deeply just to find out who these wildcards may be. He said he has some names in his head but it is difficult for him to conclude they are the wildcards because there is no clue or hint to verify it.

After Emmanuel said this, Big Brother asked him if he would like to have some clues to verify if his thoughts are right or wrong.

1. Hushpuppi

Ramon Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi was involved in a money laundering scam (business email compromise scams) of over $431 million dollars. During interrogations and investigations, Hushpuppi was said to have worked with some foreign hackers, which aided in carrying out the hundreds of million dollars scam. He recently pleaded guilty to the charges levelled against him in the United States Federal Court, which makes him likely to serve a jail term of 20 years.

2. Emmanuel Nwude


Emmanuel is a Nigerian scammer who impersonated as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Paul Ogwuma, in order to convince a Brazilian company to buy an imaginary airport which he succeeded in selling for $242 million dollars. His accomplices were Emmanuel Ofolue, Obum Osakwe, Nzeribe Okoli and the Ikechukwu’s, a husband and wife duo. With the help of his accompanists and his new identity as the governor of the central bank, he was able to contact the director of the Brazilian bank, Nelson Sakaguchi.

Emmanuel was able to scam a total of $242 million dollars. He was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment but later released from the fraud case and now serving for murder charges.

3. Obinwanne Okeke

The last on the list is Obinwanne popularly known as Invictus Obi. He operates Nigerian-based companies to defraud people in the United States. Obi was among those listed in Forbes as one of the most influential businesspeople under the age of 30.

Unfortunately, he has been jailed for 10 years in the US over using phishing emails to steal funds from victims. The scam led to the theft of about $11 million dollars.

Actor Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to the indefinite suspension slammed on him by the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association (TAMPAN)

DAILY POST had reported that TAMPAN in a statement on Friday said the actor was suspended for his new movie, ‘Oko Iyabo’.

It said the actor was also suspended for gross professional misconducts and unethical practices.

TAMPAN said having listened to the detailed defense of Fabiyi, the Producer/Director of the controversial film ‘Oko Iyabo’ and his co-Director, Dele Matti, the Ethic, Conflict and Resolution Committee found them guilty of misconduct.

Reacting, Fabiyi in an Instagram post on Friday said TAMPAN has no right to suspend him because he is not a member of the body.

According to him, he was originally a member of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP), which TAMPAN broke away from.

Describing the letter addressed as “inappropriate and invalid, Yomi stressed that he did not at any point formalise his TAMPAN membership.
“I’m originally ANTP member, worst case I’ll renew my membership there. I have never obtained or sign any form with TAMPAN or join any GUILD.

“I was made to pay for registration which I did but no form collected or formal procedure. The letter is inappropriate, not valid for me as a filmmaker.

“Any reaction if necessary will be on the basis of human rights violation if I so wish to seek judicial redress. You don’t lose what you never had,” he wrote.

Nigerian Grammy award winner, Burna Boy, has addressed the supposed rift between him and Wizkid.

The singer during an interview on his Insta live session was asked if he feels there was a competition between him and the “Ojuelegba” crooner.

In his response, Burna Boy revealed that Wizkid is like a brother to him and no bad blood existed between them.
