coolangel54: Finally got our international passport. Started the process 24th June in NIS, Yenagoa office. It came out August 7th. The person who helped us processed it waybilled to us in Asaba.
The challenge now is that the date of birth for my son isn't correct. Instead of August 7th, 2019, they erroneously typed August 1st 2019.
Please, what do you advise we do? Sorry about this. It can only be corrected at their HQtrs in Abuja. It would have been better you did do it yourself and took your time to fill it right than gave it to your plug who messed it up and still got paid. You will spend more to correct it than you earlier spent. Or you do an affidavit and adopt the new DOB for him. |

lordspiritual: It has been in production stage since May. Is that how it normally is? This is Middle of August already. The only immediate way out now is to seek for someone at NIS Sauka to help out and they will ask for money which I feel it's not necessary after you've waited this long. Ironically I was in their production department 2 Weeks ago and there's strict access there now unlike before. They are even those who paid for fast tract and still didn't get till after two months. Now the major issue here is NIMC not " dropping " or validating or NIMC server shorting down and this is beyond the control of NIS. |

lordspiritual: It has been at production stage. I even went to the office today, it's still not ready. I have called, I have sent email, I have contacted Servicom on Twitter, yet Nothing. I don tire for the matter. Since it's on production stage then don't bother yourself any further. You'll get it in the shortest time. |

americaninja1: Road safety officers are educated and learned, u see those Tinubu thug called lastma, if they descend on u. Nothing would make them free u. There was a day I was driving around ikeja, I didn’t really know d road so well, so I parked beside a guy to tell him where I was going and maybe he could show me d way, with 10secs, d guy I was asking questions unknown to me held clamp, he stylishly threw the clamp under my tyre. And told me the place is a no parking zone. Before I knew it 5 of them came out from a corner and drove me down to their office. To them extort as many as u can in any way u can. Some will purposely show u d wrong way and d his partner will be waiting to descend on u at the other end . Ask Uber/bolt drivers, they have frustrated most of them. I heard d ones at airport ikeja, purposely book Ubers and wait for d Uber to pick them along the road , so dey could arrest him. Imagine ur passenger arresting u for waiting to pick him up along the road. No no. This is bad. |

May God bless the Road Safety guy that stopped me because my passenger was not puting on seat belt but remove all charges from me when I told him my wife was in the hospital and that I had spent so much on the medical bill.
The guy asked me for the receipt of the medical bill of which I gave him. He confirmed and told me to go.
We still have good people on uniforms. |
