That axis is notorious for Fulani militia. It's a pity that after several attempt by security to dislodge them, they always find their ways around. These are not everyday robbers, their major aim every time they block the express is just to bang. And report overtime has it that the bandits careless how old a woman is, they always fulfil that ritual may be due to their drug dosage. |
I am neither from Ogun or southwest, but when you call this beauty, I call it magnificent, splendour and heavenly. Its been a while I see anything as beautiful as this. The architectural piece, pavement, neatness and serenity is woow. The question is, why can't govt ensure that our living environment receive such attention? Because I believe that, whatever Nigerian govt decided to do well, they always get it well. There is no doubt that, within us is the ingenuity to attain beyond what is obtainable in other developed world. The key is shunning corruption and begin to believe in ourselves and pledge to nation building at all respect. My prayer has always been to live young and strong to transform my country, my father land and its entirety to a place that foreigners will seek asylum. Honestly, nothing matters to me than my Christian faith and my beloved NIGERIA. GOD help me and us all. Amen. |
Moderators in political section must be careful with the kind of headline they allowed here. For instance, this particular headline is misleading and does not collaborate with the exact content of the article. There is no where (either presumably) does the AGF ordered the release of Elzazaky(hope I got the name right). We must realise the sensitive nature of politics and how it should be handled with utmost caution and professional competence. |
Thanks Gombs for the daily dosage. I appreciate it. I hardly miss it for one day. I want to assure you that thousand of others like me albeit not making comment, are eagerly following. You have been a blessing and may the good Lord continue to shower you His immeasurable grace. God bless you. |
crestedaguiyi:It's obvious you are pained. The secession protest is simply a fall out of PMB victory. They Inbox demonstrated how politically immature they were to have unreservably thrown their weight behind Good luck without calculation, now they want to use IPod to renegotiate through the back door. Even if all the igbos in the world voted for Good luck, he would have still be floored. And so, your argument is baseless. One thing I forsee is that, this miscalculation will continue to hunt the igbos for a long time as regard politics at the centre. Now, their action is plain to every Nigerian where the interest of the igbos lies. Lies and deceit cannot get them anywhere, the earlier they start building bridges, the better. |
SegunAdewole:Corrupt twisted minds as always will find ways to defend this criminal act. What happen to aiding and abating crime. What the guy did was clearly using his job opportunity to promote the Biafra agitation. He can't feign ignorance as to the true motives of the two men that approached him. This treasonable act is as clear as day light. I wonder how some of you have become so cold, twisted and crooked to corruption and lawlessness to stand to defend it. Is a shame really. |
anonimi:Even though I regard your political assimilation as elementary, yet I must say that I enjoyed your artistic fruitless images to cast aspersion on the serving govt and its team. I suggest you channeled this well endowed ingenuity to something more lucrative that can fetch you real money instead of spamming nairaland political forum with endless attempt that would obviously keep you in your sorry state of defending corrupt PDP and their supporters. |
Op, wake up. This is new year, time to wakeup and get serious with God and life. It's damn too early to involve in boy friend, girl friend thing. I'm not saying is not important, but I realised that in life, you gain respect, attention and attraction when you have all things going for you. So, forget about women for now, focus in getting your yearnings materialised, and other things will just be an addition. |
kachnov:You think this will stop anytime soon, you are wrong. You biafrans brought this upon yourself and you will receive the consequences. This is just the beginning. You prove to be the enemy of the state with your little shallow, ego thriving, miscalculated hate speeches. What will come against you brain maniacs is bigger than the rifts is almost created in this country. I just pity your political future. Keeping hating, keep jabbing. None of these would escape the memory of Nigerians. You act widely, expect to receive wild treatment. @ kenny987 |
Rainmaker69:Evident of investigative journalism. Even in western countries, cases as confidential beyond this, have a way of finding their ways to the public domain. Beside, there is nothing secret or strange about all this corruption charges. |
Lordave:You think your little rumbling here and there means anything? I wish I never get to quote you. But a good stalker is good enough to give a helping hand. Don't feel important just yet. I'm doing you a favour calling you out to amend your foolery. You call it opposition, I deemed it unseriousness. |
anonimi:I won't be surprised if it's announced that anonimi developed stroke. Not wishing you bad cos I love you(no homo), but ever since Mr. Capable (PMB) took over, you become a shadow of yourself(restless), setting up yourself against power beyond your reach. Your PDP was up there 16yrs, with poor record laden with corruption and atrocities, and manner of gangsterism, is that what you are proud of? Your opposition is wack. No rational man would speak ill of the President, at least not now. Give him time. After 3 yrs or so, your antics or schemes may begin to make little sense. Right now, those background graphics you reeled out, are quite childish. Grow up man. |
Lordave:You are almost everywhere at the same time. Give yourself break man. You're way too young to develop amnesia or heart attack over this govt. This is a new dawn meeen, and the earlier you pipe down just a little, the better for your health. I can't be too personal over issues that added no bread to my table, except you are getting paid somehow, but if not, shame dude, expensing energy over nothing. HAPPY NEW YEAR CHIEF WAILER. |
It beat my imagination as to how silly and unserious Bayelsian's are (pls no insult intended). How sitting governors from the late Alamesia, to Jonathan, Silva and now this Dickson would saddled the affairs of the state over the years with very huge sums as federal allocations yet with almost nothing to write home about. How could any Bayelsian accused the north or the federal govt when their own people at different strata of govt have succeeded to keep them at this abysmal level of development. This call for sober reflection. A reflection as to how much this present governor Dickson alone has received and what is on ground in terms of his achievements, should ordinary be the perimeter whether he merit any reelection. Because, this is simply crazy or suicide or ignorance if Dickson is given the mandate provided the news about his failure in governance on various tabloids is true. Honestly, Bayelsians deserve more, and I hope without sounding too partisan, they good people will reawake and demand accountability not just Dickson but also the past governors. |
Fruitless exercise! The culpability of the duo of Kanu and Dasuki is a severe national security issues that warrant stringent action anywhere. No serious gov in the world over will yield to some sentimentally thriven court orders that has no respect to her security. Those calling for his resignation are seriously dementedly deform. If they think these noise will move his Excellency to reverse what he stands for which is the territorial security of the nation are dispensing energy in fruitility. Those Igbo youths are restless, but I believe sooner or later, they will meet their brick wall with this unnecessary antics to divert the President's attention to a meaningless matter of Kanu release. |
Good to have someone from kd, south to be precise. Op, where do you stay? Right from Sabo, to command through to station round about, the queues have actually decimated. I think Mr. Kachukwu has finally braced up to give close monitoring to the independent marketers who were responsible for hoarding the product. Also, the commencement of production by the Kaduna refinery where the minister visited could have played a major role in the availability. I also learnt that in abuja too, queues have finally disappeared. Sign of good development if you ask me. |
aguizm:Even though you lack wisdom, which is obvious, you should pretend atimes by keeping your mouth shut. You make too much noise really about nothing. You are beginning to lose relevance. Wonder why anyone still give you the benefit of a mention. Your rhetoric don't merit it. |
aguizm:I wonder how anyone would devote time and energy responding to you, when it is obvious that you have lost the sense of comprehension. It such a pity that many of your type are still granted audience when you should be treated as trash fit for the bin. Your opinion counted as nothing. Scream as you want, it won't change the fact that, true Nigerians appreciate the good intention of the President. |
@bxcode. Everything you said, was on point. Op is also right. But I believe that our attention should be focused more on the reason for Christ sacrifice rather than the sin He abolished on the cross. There are many interesting things to learn in Christ with regards to righteousness, salvation, grace etc. But when the whole attention is given to sin, the essence and beauty of salvation may be lost. But in overall, the op I supposed is concerned about the message of sin erroneously preached which instead of liberating believers and pointing them to Christ, has become a weapon used to strangulate them and keeping them in bondage. |
LordAdam:You sense of comprehension is absolutely disturbing. The big question is: whose job it is to monitor strict compliance to the well intended policy? Policies doesn't stop at granting waivers. Was the last govt not aware that many of these companies lack the requisite and comprehensive agricultural background and facilities before being granted import waiver? Failure to do that background check display the ineptitude of the Jonathan govt. |
The much taunted agricultural revolution in last govt was after all a hoax. Just like any other thing, there's always another ugly side to the Jonathan administration. Any aspect of the past govt you point, there is one story or another to tell. Even the most respected social figures are culpable in all corruption cases. This is a conglomerate of corporate thieves who converged to feed fat on the naivety of Mr. Jonathan. At this junction, I'm concern if the presidency and efcc would have the stamina that will last enough to nip this ugly stench threatening our nation hoop in the bud. |
Too many lies over the past seven months or thereabout on the image of the president. This is just one among many. And sometimes, I felt the senate should go ahead and pass into law the social media act, that to some extent will cushion the effect of lawlessness and falsehood peddled by the media houses and bloggers. Highly apparent that those who posed as opposition are simply on a campaign of blackmail and propaganda, yet these ones will spear no effort to tagged APC as propagandist. Nairaland mods should also help to authenticate certain news before posting them to the front page, cos once released, it could be assumed as truth. |
EUROBOMBER:The court decision is because of Kanu continuous incarceration by the DSS and it's delay to file charges against him. That is not to say the court is not aware of Kanu vultiperation or scorn against the Nigerian state. So, it's funny how some uninformed supporters poured out the street to celebrate his freedom. Now that charges had been filed against him, he would have the opportunity to defend the insane reason why he chosed to promote war or genocide against the state through his hate speeches. I forsee many adjournment leading to this case, and by the time the Nigeria government finished with him, he will wish to be a Togolese in his next world. |
Yesterday, I read of large jubilation that greeted the court pronouncement that ordered Kanu's released. I didn't want to join issues because I realised the excitement was simply hysteric. The pronouncement was because of the failure of DSS to filled charges against Kanu citing his continuous incarceration not because Kanu was free from all offences. Now is the appropriate time to file charges which the DSS just did. Is a shame for anyone to believe that one single entity who threatened the corporate existence of a great nation like Nigeria to be left off the hook like that. For those who don't know, you will understand that the leadership of this country is no longer what it used to be. He may eventually meet his bail condition, but I'm affirmed that he will be used an example to others nursing ambition to denigrate a state like Nigeria. |
jomoh:Absolutely. My concern basically lies in the damage their falsehood or the shameful display their clanishness is doing in the psych of average Nigerians simple in understanding. To every discerning mind, the genesis of our perennial problems is as clear as day light, and we can attest to the fact, despite all these, the well intended purpose of this present day govt to address is not misplaced, which I believe everyone should understand and appreciate. |
jomoh:Bros jomoh, with these punch line of thoughts you reeled out, I have officially decided never to join issues with these agents of darkness anymore. I mean, what more can be added to your submission. It absolutely captured the entire nemesis brought upon us by the previous govt and rescued mission currently embarked on by the present govt. Sometimes it pains me that those who made such malicious statements are supposed youths and 'leaders' of tomorrow, but my consolation is that, rational minds like you and many others are at hand to orientate these illiterates short in vision and consumed in ethnicity. |

bigeagleeye:Unfortunately, mourners like you would find it convenient to bash the Buhari's govt when your supposed political lords and kings are questioned. This is a clear case of misappropriation that was brazenly practiced unabated by the 16yrs of PDP misrule. Yet, misguided youths would want this govt to undo in just one year what has been grounded almost to a state of disrepair. What happens to holding former leaders to account, instead of dispensing unnecessary energy finding fault with this new govt? At best, your rhetoric is an attempt to divert attention from the anti corruption crusade championed by Mr. Bubu. |
illiad:Well, I don't expect you to see since you are condemned to hate and bigotry. Economic points are so on point. Every indices stated by the publication are exactly what we have on ground albeit not 100% but it is clearly a break from the past and an assurance that it can only get better. |
luvinhubby:Don't be an inconsequential retard. Even after all the correction, you are still arrogant to admit your mistake of lack of comprehension. Admit, you are a sadist and you have hate imbedded in your DNA, but you should be civil enough to make claims that ordinarily will adjudged that you have passed through school. |
