SportsRe: Platini Wants 40-country World Cup by Afam4eva(m): 12:44am On Oct 29, 2013
I also thing FIFA should make a rule that makes sure the countries in UK and Ireland should take turns to go to the world cup. England can't keep going to the world cup at the detriment of Scotland, Wales, N. Ireland and even Rep of Ireland. Why's their team not even called Great Britain like it is when it's dominated by Scotland. These English people are just selfish. They don't want to share their glory with their fellow country men.
SportsRe: Platini Wants 40-country World Cup by Afam4eva(m): 12:42am On Oct 29, 2013
50calibre: 40 would be insane, as it stands with 32 teams, we have the World Cup spanning across 1.5 - 2 months, how long would a tournament of 40 last? What would the pairing look like?
Abeg, it will make the world cup more competitive and open. Teams should play more games thereby reducing luck.

I really don't think the Concacaf slot should be increased though. They've not earned it.

RomanceRe: This Map Shows How Easy It Is To Lay Chics Around The World . LOL by Afam4eva(m):
As expected, the Islamic countries come last. If you bang, your head gets banged off your body. Who wan try am grin

I'm also not surprised the Latin America is a place where laying chicks comes easy compared to other parts of the world. It's not necessarily because they're sluts but because they love fun and fun comes with it's perks.

PoliticsRe: Pastor Sam Adeyemi's Questions On The Proposed National Conference by Afam4eva(m): 6:07pm On Oct 28, 2013
pheesayor: you have spoken well, but can't we get the national assembly to do this? Having in the mind the outcome of the conference will still be passed to the Assembly?
That's the only worry a lot of Nigerians have. That's the reason why most Nigerians would prefer a sovereign National conference where the outcome of the conference will be binding and won't need a vote of confidence from the legislators.

FoodRe: Is It Hygienic To Eat Suya? by Afam4eva(m): 5:31pm On Oct 28, 2013
iamdsam: I believe we're all familiar with the delicacy called Suya and I also believe most people here on Nairaland do eat the Suya delicacy which is eaten in almost all parts of the country. I do eat Suya sometimes even though I've only bought it once with my cash (nor laugh me o). Looking at the preparation of this Suya delicacy of how the meat is washed and sometimes I think it's not even washed before it's roasted, I do wonder whether it's hygienic to eat. Do you think it's hygienic to eat Suya?
You should be worried whether or not the meat is washed before it is roasted and not whether or not Suya is hygienic.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: La Liga VS Epl by Afam4eva(m): 5:17pm On Oct 28, 2013
Obviously the La Liga thumps every league in the world and their record speaks volume. The EPL doesn't even come close. Just look at the players from average La Liga teams who have gone to the premiership to dominate and compare them to the best in the premiership who have gone to the La Liga. Also, the La Liga has produced more world best players in the world than the premiership.

I never really gave Mo Abudu a chance when i heard that she was setting up Ebony Life TV but right now, i'm addicted to the station cos it's very unlike other Nigerian stations. Their picture and program me quality is second to none. Those people really did their home work.

This will be good for Arsenal and Nigerian football. We need players in the big teams of Europe.

chemashie: @ what age do you want to be the best in the world? Just continue to be an average keeper you are.
He a very good keeper. I've not seen gaffes that he has made that the so-called best in the world have not made. Any goal keeper that can keep an Austin Ejide on the bench is very good.
PropertiesRe: Should A Man Live In A House Built By His Wife? by Afam4eva(m): 3:50pm On Oct 28, 2013
freecocoa: Firstly, how does a woman go off building a house without the consent of her husband?

Or are we talking about a house she built before meeting the said husband?

I'm confused.
I guess the OP is assuming a house she had before getting married.

SportsRe: Platini Wants 40-country World Cup by Afam4eva(m): 3:36pm On Oct 28, 2013
I think if anything, i agree with Platini. Europe still dominates football and it won't make sense to take away their spots and give to Africa and Asia. Instead the number of teams at the world cup should be increased. I can't wait for Platini to become the next FIFA president. Blatter should be ready to hand over to him.

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Dies In Questionable Circumstance In Ghana by Afam4eva(m): 3:26pm On Oct 28, 2013
sCun: How many Ghanaians or foreigners have died in Nigerian secondary schools? Stop going where you are hated.
The report didn't say he was killed by anyone. Even if he was, who told you the person who did it, did so cos he's a Nigerian and who even told you a Ghanian is responsible. And who told you Ghanians and Foreigners have not been dying in Nigeria. Do you know how many Oyibo people have been killed by bokoharam in Nigeria let alone Ghanians?
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Dies In Questionable Circumstance In Ghana by Afam4eva(m): 3:15pm On Oct 28, 2013
sCun: Nigerians learn how to stay in your country more.
Don't Nigerian die in their country?
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Dies In Questionable Circumstance In Ghana by Afam4eva(m): 3:08pm On Oct 28, 2013
The police in Ghana should get to the root of the matter because i don't see how someone who can't swim would drown when he didn't go to sea.
PoliticsRe: Pastor Sam Adeyemi's Questions On The Proposed National Conference by Afam4eva(m): 3:01pm On Oct 28, 2013
Good questions posed by Sam Adeyemi and i have some answers too them.

No, we don't need a National conference to build roads and roads are been built though not enough and the reason government at all levels usually give is that there's not enough funds to build as much roads and infrastructure as they would like. That's why a lot of states and local governments are calling for more funds to their respective constituencies and popular wisdom have also called for the decentralization of power which will mean that states and local governments will not rely on Abuja for their daily bread. Instead, they will seeks ways to generate funds internally using their God given resources for their citizens instead of going to Abuja to get their own share of the national cake. Decentralization if one of the things that will be discussed at the National conference.
