Properties › Re: Should A Man Live In A House Built By His Wife? by Afam4eva(m): 2:59pm On Oct 28, 2013 |
The man is the head of the family but that doesn't mean that he must provide the house. it was never stated in any book that i know off. Infact, the fact that he's the head of the family makes it possible for him to move into his wife's house. There's nothing wrong with it. The only thing he has to be concerned about is the society where he lives. If he can live in his wife's house and not pay attention to what people say about it then he should go ahead. But if he's gonna be whining about it all the time then he should just respect popular wisdom and not move into his wife's house. Not that there's anything wrong with it. |
Family › Re: Is Cheating Normal For Men? by Afam4eva(m): 2:56pm On Oct 28, 2013 |
It's very normal for men. People keep saying men cheat but they don't know to what degree. I thought the whole cheating by men was exxagerated until i started hanging out with men without their wives and their flirtatious disposition was off the hook. It's funny that some women think their husbands are not like other men just because they've never caught them. Based on my experience, i can say that the men who don't cheat are in the minority. |

Sports › Vincent Enyeama - I Can Be The Best In The World by Afam4eva(op): 2:14pm On Oct 28, 2013 |
Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama believes he can be the best shot-stopper in the world.
The Lille star kept another clean sheet in the 1-0 defeat of Nantes in the French Ligue 1 on Friday to help Les Douges to the second place in the table.
“It’s about work, work and even more hard work. I believe in hard work,” he told the club’s official website, www.losc.fr.
Enyeama is enjoying the best spell of his professional career and he took the time to explain the steps he has taken to get to the top.
The former Enyimba keeper said, “I have been watching videos and looking at (my) mistakes. I keep striving day and night to correct them.
“When I make a mistake, I am hard on myself….more than I could get on someone else if he made the same mistake.
“That’s the way I am. I have set very high standards for myself. I believe I can be the best goalkeeper in the world.”
Enyeama has been capped 86 times for Nigeria since making his debut for the Super Eagles in 2002. http://www.punchng.com/sports/i-can-be-worlds-best-enyeama/ |

Okonjo-Iweala backs Bloomberg TV’s operation in Nigeria
The Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has expressed her support for the recent inauguration of the Bloomberg TV Africa in the country.
During the North American launch of Bloomberg TV Africa in Washington DC, Okonjo-Iweala said the establishment of the media unit in Nigeria was a welcome addition to the country’s growing economy.
“This will be the first station – TV station – from abroad to be based in Nigeria and I think you’ve got it right,” the minister said, according to a Bloomberg statement.
Addressing an audience of 70 delegates, who were in Washington DC to attend the World Bank-International Monetary Fund annual meetings, she commended the Bloomberg Media Group for having the foresight to base its production and operational hub in Nigeria.
She added, “I want to say to all who are not in Nigeria that if you’re not in Nigeria, you’re not in Africa; so, I think Bloomberg TV has got it right.”
The Chairman, Bloomberg Media Group, Mr. Andy Lack, expressed excitement at his organisation’s plans for the Nigerian market.
He said, “We at Bloomberg believe in Nigeria, its people and its role in the developing African growth story. Our partnership with the Nigeria-based Optima Media Group has enabled us to develop a platform for Africa’s growing business and financial community that will significantly extend our presence across the continent.”
The Chairman, Optima Media Group and Vice-Chairman of Bloomberg TV Africa, Mr. Rotimi Pedro, said, “Bloomberg TV Africa will deliver the highest quality news and business programming that will empower Africans to tell their story from their own perspectives.
“We aim to provide relevant and up-to-date information to enable African business leaders to make informed business and investment decisions.”
According to the statement, the event was attended by several personalities, including the President, African Development Bank, Dr. Donald Kaberuka; the Group Managing Director, UBA Plc, Mr. Phillips Oduoza; and Managing Director, Diamond Bank Plc, Dr. Alex Otti.
Others were Executive Director, Heritage Bank, Mrs. Mary Akpobome, and a representative of the Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Lamido Sanusi, among others.
The North America launch of Bloomberg TV Africa is the first in a series of launches, according to the statement.
It said further events would be held in Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria.
Bloomberg TV Africa is expected to begin full operations from its Lagos hub in the first quarter of 2014, with three to four hours of business programming available to African viewers each day. http://www.punchng.com/business/money/okonjo-iweala-backs-bloomberg-tvs-operation-in-nigeria/ |

This one that everyone seems to be protesting in her support just shows that she has changed the Aviation industry in her own little way. But what these folks have to understand is that corruption is not a respecter of any person. Every individual no matter how much they have performed are open to criticism and investigation and if they're found culpable, they should face the full weight of the law. I also implore those that are calling for her hea to give her the benefit of the doubt and call for thorough investigations on her supposed involvement in the inflations of cost of the cars and that's if indeed the cost was inflated and not budgeted for. |

Lol Of course it's possible for a lot of people to view a thread and not leave any comments probably because the content of the thread was not what they thought it was. Though it's rarely plausible that so many people will view a thread and not leave a comment or leave few comments. Another reason why you would see many views and few comments if if that page was visited by spambots. Yes, it's normal for spambots to visit newly created pages and not leave comments. |
