She may have more fans than Ike, but top the polls? The one she topped Tacha was it not with the help of Ike's people?

Mercy, Ike, Mike, these people all share the same fans, but you see Tacha, her votes are her votes, nobody is doing Team Ike & Tacha or Tacha & Mercy, or Mike & Tacha. It is just Tacha.
How do you people have all these information? Personally, i think Mercy has the highest supporters closely followed by Tacha and probably Mike and Seyi.

I kinda like the fact that everyone was put up for eviction because only people with entertainment value were mostly put up while boring and uninteresting people were left out because they were not interesting enough to be noticed and invariably nominated.

The following people will escape eviction: Mercy, Tacha, Seyi, Mike, Omashola, Ike and even frodd (He has some pity-party fans).

One or two of the following people will go home: Nelson, Jeff, Jackie, Esther, Thelma, Kaffy, Ghedoni and...

No they think everything starts and ends in pdp.

Anambra practices multi party politics that's why you see there Apga, pdp, ypp and the rest.
Should a state just become multi party just for the heck of it? Anambra have just been lucky with good leaders under the APGA platform and the developments we have seen is never because it's a multi party state. As much as i think Enugu needs to up their ante, i don't think being multi party will bring any form of positives.

I won't claim to have watched this years Big brother as much as i did last year but i've watched enough to draw some conclusions.

This might go down in history as the most boring Big Brother that i have ever watched. The housemates are a bore. I wonder how they were all picked.

Things are even getting worse as those who are supposed to bring drama both directly and otherwise are being evicted.

For instance, if ISILOMO was still around, i expect some clashes between her and TACHA as the Edo girl that she is.

I also expected as since KIMOPRAH had love interests in the house before she left, it would make for quality viewing to see what happens when they fight for her attention.

It's also unfortunate that they're trying to be sent home despite the fact that the only major fraca was between him and TACHA which i think he has the tendency to instigate something because a lot of housemates are repelled by his presence.

We have to decide whether we just want to support a housemate or be entertained. I'll go with the latter. Anything that wil bring maximum entertainment in form of quarrels and close fights is good for me.

No offence to the girls but the lack of education and therfore intelligence comes to play when you watch both the men and women play. A well educated kid is able to take coaching instruction much better and apply it to the game I. E when to pass, when to hold on to the ball and wait for support, when to tackle and when to just stand and shepard the player, when to make a run behind the defender and when to run wide!

We lack the basics, not just because of poor coaching but also because of poor mental capacity of our players (make and female) to take it in.

After all many of our players are typically from the streets.
Wow, you truly understand why we've not been going far in this competitions. This problems also affects other African teams and third world countries.

I recent times I've seen the correlation between Education, economic prosperity and talent. Talent is never enough.

Infact Let this soludo come out and Ifeanyi comes e go clear una for eye.

What apga needs is to maintain their tradition of neutral candidate without too much godfather's.
Soludo has not been in circulation ever since he contested the governorship election but he's the most sellable person in Anambra as far as Governorship is concerned. The only reason he has not become the governor is because he was in the wrong party at the time and because he has not been able to become the APGA governorship candidate. When that happen, it will be a clean sweep for him.

And who says there are no 5-star hotels in NYC and California?
Yet, big retail chains, auditing and financial services firm, investment incubators, IT giants, and manufacturing behemoths are rushing to invest in those cities.

Again, government has a way of managing everything.
Speaking of competitive edge, I keep wondering why those hotels prefer Imo State...I can't seem to wrap my head around it.
There's no competitive edge here...it's not like Imo State has beaches and mind-blowing tourist attractions that make it unique in the region.

People are just building hotels because they see everyone else building it. Just like the way everyone jumped in sachet water production because it became a money-spinner. A typical African man isn't creative...he just wants an easy way to making money.

I think I have made my point abundantly clear.

I rest my case.
And who told you that Las Vegas does not have these other things you listed. They do have other industries but not on the same level as their hospitality business. Owerri will definitely have different kinds of industries but from the way things are, it will be dominated by the hospitality industry. Owerri is neither Lagos nor Abuja, so you don't expect it to be a major player in every field. It has to start from somewhere then diversify in the future. Mauritius Island was known for sugar cane plantations, from there it became a huge tourist haven and from there, it is now an IT Hub. Rome was not built in a day.

This is false, and you know it.
Nigeria's Delta has a peculiar challenge.
No matter how anyone looks at it, we must build an all-round economy.
If hospitality was that important, why hasn't the economy of Nevada overtaken those of California and New York?
Biko this madness is becoming preposterous.
Nevada does not need to overtake New York or California for it to be seen as wealthy. Every state cannot be the richest at the same time. Nevada is doing well mostly because if Las Vegas. Outside Las Vegas there isn't much going on there. States have to use their comparative advantages to better themselves. Every state cannot have the kind of diversified economy that you speak of. Some states will definitely be dominated by a particular sector and as long as it's bringing in the bucks, then i say go for it.

I beg to differ.
Imo State must diversify.
Else, we will lose our morals completely.
Nigeria is not America...there are certain things we cannot manage at this point in Nigeria.
Hotels have a way of harboring criminals and encouraging underage prostitution.
If you consider the positive effects, you must also weigh the negative consequences.
This is BS and you know it. How about you stop oil exploration since it breed militancy.

There will be criminals everywhere regardless. If these hotels can create employment for the restive population, i see crime rate reducing rather than increasing.

Is this the only set of businesses that Owerri can attract?

If I get a chance to govern Imo State, my first move would be to place an embargo on hotel businesses.

Rochas once announced it in 2011...perhaps he lacked the guts to implement it.

This nonsense is getting outta hand.

People should invest in the real sector or knowledge economy

How about real estate?

I hear accommodation in Owerri is the most expensive in South East...why's everyone rushing to build a hotel?

We have enough hotels and casinos now
Why is las Vegas building more hotels? It's because that's what it's known for. People keep forgetting that hotel is also an industry. if Owerri can build these hotels and tourist places and attract people from all over Nigeria then they should keep it up.
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by Afam4eva(m): 7:45pm On Jun 15, 2019
Wow, Owerri is really taking more shape with these hotels. Owerri needs just one thing and no city east of the Naija will smell it in terms of night life and even beauty. We needs quality roads in the nooks and crannies of Owerri. The government should do a census on all the hotels in Owerri and make sure that roads leading to those places are tarred. Let them not also forget street lights.
