Jan. 24 (GIN) - South African Model C primary schools have been quietly removing Zulu and Xhosa languages from their curriculum leaving English and Afrikaans, popularly known as “the oppressors’ language” during the apartheid era as the medium of Instruction.

Officially, students should be taught in their mother tongue from Grades 1 to 3, but a survey by the Sunday Times newspaper found this was not happening. In fact, by the time they got to 12th year, most pupils were opting for Afrikaans as their first additional language after English with 68,455 choosing Afrikaans, 10,943 choosing Zulu and  1,547 choosing Xhosa.

A letter from Mntomuhle Khawula of the Inkatha Freedom Party and an education advisor, was particularly critical: "Exclusion of African languages (isiZulu and isiXhosa) in some former Model C Primary schools is systematically discriminating and singling out certain racial groups."

"We cannot sideline our African languages because not only is it an insult to those who speak it but it's reviving the struggle of languages like it happened many years ago with Bantu education, we need to find a curriculum that will accommodate each and every language."

Bobby Soobrayan, director of basic education, countered: “It is misleading to say that because of government policy, schools are scrapping African languages in favor of Afrikaans…” However, he added, “Because school governing bodies determine the language policy, some schools choose to offer Afrikaans as the first additional language.”

Soobrayan insisted: “What we want to see is every pupil being competent in an African language when they leave school.

@Afro_Blue, can you expatiate on your theory of America being controlled through its Central Bank by some powerful people. I think your notion is too simplistic, but I still want to read your opinions.
The work has already been done. Feel free to read and study the links below on how the elite use the central banking scam and how this pertains to your question on the colony of the USA.

No need for me to type out a lengthy dissertation on a message board to prove that I have functional lobes in my head, or try to impress anyone. It wouldn't put on naira or dollar in my pocket. I enjoy this medium of exchange of sharing and quickly reading news articles from around the world. I occasionally 'expatiate a theory' if topic arouses an intense passion in me and warrants the investment in time.

Moscow’s ties with Syria grow stronger

By Charles Clover in Moscow

As Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s president, becomes more isolated by the day, Russia, one of his country’s most robust foreign allies, seems to be strengthening its attachment to him.
A Russian aircraft carrier docked this month in the Syrian port of Tartus, Moscow’s last remaining international naval base outside the former Soviet Union. No sooner had it sailed off than the Chariot, a Russian cargo ship, arrived with ammunition.

This week, as the Arab League urged Mr Assad to hand power to a national unity government, Moscow said it would sell Syria 36 fighter jets for $550m. Russia’s staunch support of Mr Assad is driven partly by a determination to avoid a repeat of what happened in Libya, when Moscow abstained from a UN resolution imposing a no-fly zone that contributed to the demise of Muammer Gaddafi, the country’s ruler.
The result was a diplomatic and commercial fiasco for Russia, with the new Libyan government vowing to punish Russian, and Chinese, companies for their government’s support of the former regime.
But the Kremlin said its mistake was not that it backed the wrong horse in Gaddafi – rather that it did not back him hard enough. This time they mean to defend their man.
Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian president, who made the decision to abstain in the UN vote on Libya in March, was heavily criticised when Nato warplanes went on the offensive and the operation, originally designed to protect civilians, became “a classic regime change scenario”, according to Fedor Lukyanov, editor of Russia in Global Affairs, a Moscow- based foreign policy journal.
“The decision to abstain is widely seen in Russia as a mistake. No one wants to put themselves in that position again,” he said.
Veto-wielding Russia has quashed any similar attempt to get a UN resolution on Syria, and seems certain to do so again, despite Arab League pressure.
“From the standpoint of strategy, it doesn’t seem to me that military intervention would be a successful step,” Mikhail Margelov, presidential envoy to Africa, who has been the Kremlin’s point man in Middle East diplomacy, told Russian television. “ISyria today needs additional efforts in order to get a dialogue started.”
In an attempt to pre-empt talk of armed intervention, Mr Margelov said the Arab League’s measures were working. “Monitors are a stabilising factor in Syria,” he insisted, despite Tuesday’s withdrawal of monitors from Gulf Co-operation Council nations from the league’s mission to Syria.
Russian analysts also believe the west is naive in allowing itself to be drawn into yet another Arab revolution with unclear consequences. “The Russian side doesn’t buy the argument about a popular uprising,” Mr Lukyanov said. “Instead, the Syrian crisis is seen as a geopolitical battle between the Sunni Arab monarchies and Iran [for whom Syria is an important ally],” he added.
“The western idea to crush every dictatorship and open a Pandora’s box across the Middle East is just madness,” said Sergei Markov, deputy director of the Plekhanov Economic Academy in Moscow and former member of parliament, who accused US and its Nato allies of “deception” in their imposition of a no-fly zone in Libya.
Russia’s decision once again to back what seems like a lost cause may be rooted in its past. Mr Assad is one of Russia’s last allies in the Middle East: Hafez, his father, was a long-time Soviet client and the relationship has been passed down a generation.
“Russia’s presence in the Middle East is a legacy of Soviet times,” Mr Lukyanov said. “We don’t think the Mideast’s new rulers will need Russia, whatever our position was when they came to power. The only chance we have to continue a relationship and to earn dividends from it is if the old regimes stay.”

An excellent summation. . . not my words but in total agreement.

" Chris Sky
Collapse
because the oil is a red herring, The REAL reason the US/NAto is in Libya is the same reason they invade all sovereign nations, Force them to take a Roth$child owned Federal reserve style central bank that will be used to LOAN (print) the once soverign nation it's own money at interest the until it's in full fledged debt servitude like the USA, and most of Europe. Oil is nice, it's billions of dollars per year, Taking over the control of a nations currency (especially when Gaddafi made interest ILLEGAL , yes 0% interest was law on every loan in Libya) is worth trillions, and gives you the power to control the population through interest rates, inflation values and of course "austerity measures" when your debt trap takes full hold. Oh yeah, and having Nato cripple about 90% of the target country's infrastructure pretty much guarantees that Libya's new cronies in charge will accept a "Generous" 500 billion dollar loan from the NEW central bank at hefty interest.

This is the recipe in each and every country. In the USA they couldn't take over through war, so the bankers did it by deceit, 1913 Federal Reserve Act by pressuring Woodrow Wilson on Christmas eve right under your noses.

and just 3 years later he had this to say about his decision.

"We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world - no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."

Guess what, that was 100 years ago, now over 200 countries have fallen victim like the USA. Libya was the most recent, and will not be the last, Why do you think Syria is REALLY on the chopping block? wink Look at their central bank, my friends,

cheers. be informed. Listen to me smiley "

Willie Lynch letter: The Making of a Slave

http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/Perspectives_1/Willie_Lynch_letter_The_Making_of_a_Slave.shtml

This speech was said to have been delivered by Willie Lynch on the bank of the James River in the colony of Virginia in 1712.  Lynch was a British slave owner in the West Indies. He was invited to the colony of Virginia in 1712 to teach his methods to slave owners there. The term “lynching”is derived from his last name.

DEION SANDERS
Pilar's Trying to EXTORT Me

Is Pilar out to extort Primetimehuh

According to TMZ reports:

Deion Sanders is firing back at his estranged wife Pilar, claiming her recent accusations — that he’s a narcissistic serial cheater — are just a “shady” attempt to extort more money from the NFL star.

Deion’s attorney, Jody Johnson, tells TMZ — “The actions of Ms. Sanders and her attorney are nothing more than an attempt to avoid a legally binding contract that she no longer likes, by falsely assassinating the character of Mr. Sanders in an effort to extort additional money from Mr. Sanders.”

Deion’s lawyer is referring to new docs Pilar filed this week in the couple’s divorce proceedings — in which Pilar asks the judge to toss out the couple’s prenup … and award her the lion’s share of Deion’s estate.

Pilar claims she was forced to sign the prenup under duress, but Deion says that’s BS — according to his lawyer, “Mr. Sanders committed to a generous financial agreement with his wife when they both voluntarily signed a premarital agreement that they presented to the judge for approval.”

Deion claims it didn’t end there either, he also showered her with money and gifts before and during their marriage.

Jody Johnson also spoke on the attacks on Deion’s character as a father and husband.

As for Pilar’s attacks on Deion’s parenting skills — his lawyer claims, “Anyone who knows Mr. Sanders and observes him on a daily basis knows that he is a committed, ever-present father.”

The lawyer adds, “Mr. Sanders will not be intimidated by these shady tactics and remains committed to resolve this matter in a court of law as quickly and amicably as possible.”

Pilar’s lawyer tells TMZ, Pilar’s not the liar — in fact, “Pilar has taken a lie detector test on the question of fidelity during her marriage to Deion Sanders and PASSED.”

Although the lie detector test is a nice touch when trying to make an argument there are plenty of people in prison and free behind the amazing accuracy of the almighty, irrefutable, “lie detector” test.

We gotta say, Deion said a couple weeks ago that Pilar’s lawyer was an “unethical” scumbag and would do anything to win a case. Based on yesterday’s allegations of physical abuse, we’re starting to side with Prime.

That’s not to say that he is an innocent party, but it seems that Pilar is down to work the “by any means necessary” angle to get out of that air-tight prenup that she AGREED to.

Let us all say in unison….”HO SIT DOWN!”

Message from the Pleiadians by Greg Giles January 18, 2012

Internet search engines can be your ally in the war of information and disinformation. Making yourself informed is your task, one of many at this time, and you are to see to it that you complete this task by learning as much as you can about your world, either seen or unseen, and your universe. There are a multitude of different questions you would do well to understand, and after that a multitude more questions will present themselves, but not until the initial questions are satisfied satisfactorily. Heightened states of awareness are achieved not only through the attainment of academia, but also of knowledge only gained through the gateway of the heart. Your searches through the many channels of information available throughout your Internet can be not only searches for answers to your questions, but food for your heart and your soul. A beautiful photograph may not answer a specific question you may have, but may unlock emotions buried deep within you, emotions that will unlock new doors for you to walk through.
We see so many of you searching for answers, and we marvel at how you today seek these greater understandings of your environment. We have been monitoring you for ages, through your very early years and formative lifetimes thousands of your years ago, up until the present day. We have watched you from the vantage point of an uninterrupted flow of consciousness, unlike you who have obeyed the laws of incarnation wherein you began each new lifetime as a newborn with a clean slate of conscious memory, although your subconscious has safeguarded all your experiences and the great many lessons and knowledge you have attained through such trial and tribulation.
Seeing from our vantage point how you have all grown, we are overwhelmed by your progress and we are confident so many of you will also be amazed at how far you have come after you make the transition from your current ‘forgetful’ state of the 3rd dimension through the veil into the higher realms where you will be able to view all your incarnations from this higher perspective. You will see for the first time all your incarnations at one time, in the now moment, and see clearly where you have made some of your greatest leaps in consciousness. Your next leap from your current homes in the 3rd dimension to your new higher dimensional state will be your greatest leap yet, and we are just as excited as many of you for this day to arrive. Keep in mind that you move one step closer to the culmination of your 3rd dimensional journey each and every day, as you never remain stagnant for any period of time. This is why it is so important for you to utilize to your greatest advantage every single day and every single moment within to learn and to grow, to blossom into the beautiful Flower of Life that you are.
Today, we busy ourselves with preparations for our family reunion with you, our brothers and sisters. There is so much to do and so few days left to accomplish all of our tasks, as well as assist you accomplish some of yours, but together we will complete each and every task in time for the special day that awaits us all. We now see this day clearly on the horizon, and as we have said, we must be careful not to speak of specific dates as the Cabal still has a few noises and distractions up their sleeve.
We have been asked by our channel Greg if we can shed some light on the mysterious sounds that seem to be emanating from your skies, or at least echoing into the skies. We say at this time to follow your clues and seek these answers for yourselves. It is this search, your quest for the answers to these questions that builds bridges within your mind, and these bridges are your means to new worlds in the higher realms. These words are far from merely poetic, as physical changes are occurring in your brains and throughout your physical vessels whence you set out on the trail of new knowledge and wisdom. We tell you some of the strange sounds are very real and not hoaxes and we also guide you to listen with your heart as well as with your ears, building a bridge between the two. This is your Rainbow Bridge. The Antahkarana spoken of in your ancient spiritual texts and we say to you once again, ‘As above so below’ has many multidimensional meanings. Search on for your answers, your truths. Build your bridges into the Heavens and walk across into your new lives within the higher realms of possibility.
We are your Family of Light from the stars.
