moyes is just retardëd. it's now obvious fellaini is more suited to opponents that don't play football at 100mph.

fellaini should be the #1 on the team list in european games. let cleverley play in the EPL where his quick thinking & intelligent passes can help unlock the defence.

At least in European games while he is turning and arranging his feet he wont be assailed on all sides with tackles and stripped of the ball.
Just so that the nearly 30m pounds would not be wasted he can be used in some champs league matches but i suspect the final answer no lifeline left is that he is not just good enough at this level

For now o fellaini should stay far far away from the starting line-up
our first choice CMs are Carrick and Cleverley then Jones. If someone can hide pantry key from the FAT Brazilian i would pick him ahead of the MACK truck called Fellaini

Yet you insist we toss Cleverley to scrap heap in what is really his 2nd season in the United 1st team. With this sort of attitude Beckham, G. I wont go as far as asking him to be sold but you would agree with me that there is room for much improvement.
If all his coaches are patting him on the head like his defenders here and not picking out areas where he can get better he will remain stuck at his sideways level.

No one said Cleverley was poor today, Fellaini coming in for Cleverley obviously weakened us and peeps have said as much.

HOWEVER for Cleverley to retain his shirt going forward and for him to improve his game to the next level he has to start adding some weapons to his game....... more regular forward passing, more accurate shooting, a few goals even. If he does not do these things he will become a perennial squad player soon.
2 things about today's game
1) First half Fulham gave us free space to run over them so our boys all looked good including TomC

2) Fellaini coming in for anybody these days will make the person look like the second coming of Bobby Charlton, the afroman is playing that poorly.

People don't complain about Busquets because he has Xavi beside him, someone who is more willing to make the occasional forward angled pass or through ball.
2 Busquets is an overkill and thats what we play with Carrick and "sideways" Cleverley

those safe passes retain possession - no one criticises busquets for playing safe passes. i'd rather safe passing than rooney trying to take-on 3 defenders and eventually losing the ball.

cleverley's pass started the goal rooney scored today.

That is the problem. Carrick is our Busquets, we don't need another Busquets beside Carrick. Carrick should be partnered by a player who is more willing to take chances and make forward plays especially with our mediocre wing play. A more creative partner for Carrick would mean there would be less pressure on the no 10 to be sole creative fulcrum.

I want a few more passes like the one he made today to RVP and less passing just for the sake of passing

to be fair i am a fan of cleverley and i am not one of those that belive he is not good enough to play for man utd. however from last season he became too obsessed with giving the safe pass, eschewing the through ball for the sideways pass

we are so ordinary when we don't have rafael in the RB position. when rafael is not playing, fabio should be replacing him. smalling/jones don't make the cut!!

but it was valencia that replaced rafael at RB not smalling/jones.
the more crucial change was fellaini for cleverley in midfield. our passing and movement in midfield became as clumsy as a teenage boy's first time

The changes were forced on Moyes.
It was obvious Rafael and especially Cleverley were struggling and were going to be changed.

chamotex: Tyler Blackett looks good especially with his physique...but plays mostly at LB for the reserves.
He also plays on the LW and has even played up front in some games.

He impressed me against Fulham on Monday, he has improved a lot.

okay thats good news. i havent been following the under21s of late.
i think blackett is going to be mainly a left back and if he develops especially in terms of intelligence he is going to be a beast. in terms of pace,size and technique he has the potentials
