I have only seen clips of Hjulmand but from what I have seen Baleba is by far the better prospect.

Baleba is teammates with Onana and Mbeumo.

Baleba and Yoro were teammates.

That is how it is in a lot of countries.

Customs in the UK is under Treasury Department and Customs in the US too was under Treasury Department until the Department of Homeland Security was created during the peak of the war on terror.

Customs Department primary role historically has always been to generate funds for the government.

Their focus might be less now though compared to us as they have more revenue streams.

The irony would be if he comes and Hojlund starts benching him. Would it be a good decision to have the two of them in the squad? There aren’t many games to go around like last season.

If he comes it most likely means we have to offload Hojlund to balance the books. I don’t think Hojlund can bench him and also there won’t be enough minutes to share.

Strikers are overpriced these days because there are so few good ones so it is difficult.

It is not impossible but just difficult. Our scouting is not the best and our negotiation is even worse. Bad combo.

Newcastle have bid € 90m for Sesko. If we make a counteroffer this could very well be a mistake of Rasmus and Antony proportions.

We need to spend that money on the midfield.

That second goal yesterday wouldn’t have happened if Bruno did the simple thing and Casemiro wasn’t finished.

Bruno trying to nutmeg an opposition player instead of a simple pass when we had only 2 defenders back.

Bruno stopping to fight on the pitch like an Area Boy while opposition players are flooding towards his own 18-yd box.

Casemiro committing to a sliding tackle prematurely like he often does instead of standing on his feet and running with his man.

These are the issues changing formation will magically solve. LOL

We should have sold Bruno but I think Amorim preferred having a loyalist captain in the squad to the money he would have brought. Time will tell if this was a monumental error or not.

We all hope Amorim can improve the players he met. That is logical and part of his job.

My point is that changing formation is not the only way to improve player performance, especially players that struggled under different formations in the past.

It is not a magic wand that eradicates our problems.

You are ascribing our struggles to the formation meanwhile the reason this current manager was appointed midseason in the first place is because the previous manager was struggling with these same players using a different formation.

Changing formation alone won’t magically solve our problems. We had these problems under different formations.

We are scoring some ridiculous own goals in this preseason sha.

Meanwhile this Casemiro will be a serious problem whenever he plays.

Lacey is a great talent.

It would be reckless for the club to continue treating Lacey like other students— if they want him to realize his potential. He ought to be managed to the level where he can play professional football. That way we can sell him for a very good price, if he can’t make it here.

Re new U-18 class, who are the standout players ? I think we signed a few talents locally and abroad.

For the Under-18s:

Ngwashi at CB has already played from last season and even played Under-21 but this is actually going to be his official 1st year as a scholar. Probably better than Kukonki or any of our recent academy products.

Jacob Watson who was Ngwashi’s main partner at Under-16. His height might be an issue at older age groups.

Ibrovic-Fletcher at AM. Very dominant at Under-16 level and will compete with Thwaites and Ibragimov.

Bradbury who is the only CF I have seen from the new group although Ajayi who is a LW might cover at CF as well. We promoted Obi and released the other Under-16 options so a little short there.

JJ Gabriel is the biggest talent. Probably biggest since Greenwood but we will see if he grows physically, avoids injuries, and if we are able to keep him. Everyone wants him and I suspect he is a Barca fan PLUS his dad seems to be problematic.
