Lacey is a great talent.

It would be reckless for the club to continue treating Lacey like other students— if they want him to realize his potential. He ought to be managed to the level where he can play professional football. That way we can sell him for a very good price, if he can’t make it here.

Re new U-18 class, who are the standout players ? I think we signed a few talents locally and abroad.

For the Under-18s:

Ngwashi at CB has already played from last season and even played Under-21 but this is actually going to be his official 1st year as a scholar. Probably better than Kukonki or any of our recent academy products.

Jacob Watson who was Ngwashi’s main partner at Under-16. His height might be an issue at older age groups.

Ibrovic-Fletcher at AM. Very dominant at Under-16 level and will compete with Thwaites and Ibragimov.

Bradbury who is the only CF I have seen from the new group although Ajayi who is a LW might cover at CF as well. We promoted Obi and released the other Under-16 options so a little short there.

JJ Gabriel is the biggest talent. Probably biggest since Greenwood but we will see if he grows physically, avoids injuries, and if we are able to keep him. Everyone wants him and I suspect he is a Barca fan PLUS his dad seems to be problematic.

I have seen him play few times as i follow borough cos of Carrick, the boy is good at progressing the ball and also good with passing. He is not the very best we can get but on the ball he is better than what we correctly have...

The problem for me is that all these accolades are against Championship opposition.

If it was a 19yr old boy doing all these I would say there is big potential for improvement but as a 23 yr old I am suspicious of him. Apart from Buendia and Benrahma there have been many players that dominated the Championship in their 20s and moved to the EPL and could not replicate it.

If funds are so limited i would buy Baleba this season and go for a CF next season.

Baleba and Mainoo first choice CM. Ugarte and Case 2nd choice. Bruno, Mbeumo, Cunha can rotate in attack.

I will check his videos sha but just remember the gap between Championship and EPL.

That sharp turn would not need a “no U-turn” side over here, especially on a bridge. It would be expected that all motorists would know that it is unsafe and illegal to turn there.

Only a roundabout or a designated lane for those making a U-turn would make sense there.

There's no way Sarina Wiegman is not better than some coaches in the championship and even the premier league. Another interesting fact is that teams with women coaches have won 95% of all female tournaments since 2000 despite being the minority. I thought the men would be dominating.

1) The best female coaching minds competing against mediocre male coaching minds who could not get good jobs coaching men.

2) The women would probably be better at “woman management” than men.
