LOL. Your Amaka hate is not allowing you to analyze the situation properly. Let me break it down to you iller.

With a guaranteed position in the money spinning Super League the Glazers will never be interested in firing Amaka. There is no incentive to win the EPL title when winning it or making Top 4 is no longer a prerequisite for making the Champions League.

Whether United comes 2nd or comes 12th the money from the Super League is guaranteed. No matter how badly Amaka performs, at the end of the season the Glazers are sure of making more money next season.............which is all they want.

This Super League actually guarantees Amaka a long and secure tenure at Old Trafford.

If the big clubs are not there that money will be wasted. The average Chinese or Korean fan is not interested in watching West Ham face Sassuolo in the Champions League when the next channel is showing Barca vs Liverpool in the Super League.

The only way to salvage the current arrangement is if the clubs' share of the Champions League pot is decided by a combination of marketability and performance rather than the egalitarian system we have now. The big clubs want a bigger share of the pot based on the fact that they are the ones who attract the most fans and also have the best performances.

Yeah Agnelli is one of the major forces behind it. People like Abramovic and Kroenke must have been co-opted, and Kroenke will never reject a money making venture like this.

I just read that it is billed to start in 2022. The Glazers must be so happy not having to deal with Champions League qualifications again. Next season United fit finish for relegation zone, after all they go still enter Super League anyhow anyhow.

You are right that if the clubs stay unified there is nothing UEFA and FIFA can do about it, and there is nothing that unifies like the hope of making money. Players will be enticed with the promise of skyrocketing salaries and the clubs will make their money from mega sponsorship deals and a more equitable share of the pot.

At the end of the day it is UEFA that will suffer the most, as well as as all the small clubs struggling to remain solvent in those countries as the trickle down effect of the solidarity payments will be lost. One way for the Super League to get people onside is to maintain the solidarity payments which although chicken change to them is a major source of income for some of the smaller clubs.

This is football elitism at its most impure. 15 clubs chosen because of their status and whose positions will never be threatened. This is similar to an old boy network whereby people get jobs and positions due to who they are and who they know rather than their ability, and in this case is the direct result of the Americanization of a European sport.

The first casualty will be the UEFA Champions League as people round the world won't be interested in watching Everton battle Valencia when you can watch Real vs Man City on the Super League telecast. Subsequently however, the national leagues will be affected as less and less money is generated (especially if the Super League teams are kicked out as threatened).

Greenwood is more deadly through the middle. On the RW it is either he cuts inside and shoots or cuts out and crosses, through the middle he can cut either side and still shoot.
The only reason Amaka is still reluctant to play him through the middle is physicality not finishing.

It is not about Kane per se but about what are priorities should be. Our weakest positions are at CDM and CB. That is where we desperately need to improve. Cavani and Greenwood are 2 of the best finishers in the whole league. If we create quality chances for them they will finish them.

Unless the Glazers are going to spend 300m pounds this transfer window our priorities should be CB, CDM, RW.

Yes. Cavani, Martial, Greenwood, Rashford can rotate that position. The little money the Glazers will spend should be on a CB, CDM, RW in that order before we think of buying a CF.

1) More important than a CF we need a quality CB to partner Maguire and rescue us from Lindelof.

2) Next, before buying a CF we need to buy a complete CDM who can partner Pogba (or VDB if Pogba leaves) and relegate McFred to the bench where they belong.

3) Before we buy a CF we need a creator on the RW to balance our LWF Rashford who is more of a scorer. We have to stop wasting all these Cavani runs (if he is here next season).

With Greenwood on the right and Rashford on the left, buying Kane would be a major waste of money. Greenwood and Rashy do not create enough for our CF.
