DeadPresidents: There's no way this guy isn't Coogar or an acolyte...
I was telling them they were saying it was L-ruditor. Wetin concern L-ruditor with Manchester United? It was too obvious from the beginning. He has tried to tone down his behavior and antics but a leopard never changes its spots.
TrebleChamp: SAF first trophy for Manutd was the League Cup (now known as Carabao Cup) in 1990, SAF first trophy after going 3 season without with the League was Carling Cup in 2007. Arteta won the FA Cup on just under 6 month as Manager, Mourinho is in a Cup Final in less that 2 season in charge of Spurs. Make Ole win any trophy for us fans to celebrate, their is way una fit twist this narrative wey we no go catch una for blokos ...
SAF's first trophy for Man Utd was the FA Cup NOT the league cup.
Palmer had him on toast for the better part of the first half.
I also believe Shoretire is being over-promoted.
I didn’t want to add that part. Something tells me they have wrecked Shoretire’s career already but they don’t know. He should really be playing Under-18 now instead they were playing as a 14yr old against 19yr olds. I really hope I am wrong.
This coach has also started messing up lately. Playing Elanga on the right where he is not effective. Playing Shoretire on the left.
Jodera: Perfect description. You know him well. Surprisingly, even his colleagues (e.g saka) do call him Kev(for Kevin de bruyne)
I just love his game, he's always aware of his surrounding, he already knows who he wants to pass to before the ball gets to him and he doesn't hangs on to the ball for long. I just hope he grows and improves for us
He is one of your sure bankers. He needs a manager who will place him in a position to succeed. Also needs to be played in a particular position more frequently to avoid becoming a utility player. Same thing with Saka. Injuries are threatening to derail Martinelli.
That was an underwhelming performance. I suspect Amaka will disappoint again cos i no understand how we will play 2 games against an out oshi team from La Liga and we could not play correct football against them in either game.
Burtonj: The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) is a non-governmental organization specializing in football statistics and historical records. On Monday, local time, IFFHS announced the ranking of the best head coaches for the first 20 years of this century. Mourinho reached the top, Low ranked second, Ferguson and Guardiola tied for third. China‘s former national football coach Lippi, ranked 15th.
Every year, IFFHS will select the best club coach and the best national team coach in the top 20 lists. When calculating the 20-year overall ranking, IFFHS converts the 20-year ranking into points, and then adds the 20-year points to get the coach’s final score. When calculating the annual points, IFFHS is based on the score of 20 points for the first place, 19 points for the second place, and so on. In the overall rankings, Mourinho ranked first with 226 points. Love ranked second with 213 points, and Ferguson and Guardiola tied for third with 183 points.
elampiro: McTominay can do what Ndidi and co do. But he has an ambitious for goal scoring which makes him push forward.
McTominay is not an accurate or incisive enough passer to play that role, Fred is even a better passer than him, only inconsistent.
Fred can't receive the ball on the half turn and McTominay can't pass between the lines accurately or quickly enough. We are combining 2 players for one role.
No Bailly. Likely going to be Lindelof and Tuanzebe partnership with young Will Fish on the bench. With Elanga, Shoretire, and Amad training i expect to see a number of youngling cameos in the 2nd half if things go well.
Also noticed Rashford was absent. They should please allow the boy rest for 2 weeks in order to recover from the ankle injury.
elampiro: His speed helps him too, just like Ronaldo De Lima
I alluded to that in my second line. It even goes without saying. There is no player that would not benefit from speed. Imagine Mata with speed or even Maguire with speed.
KingAlabi: To some extent mbappe na speed merchant oh
La pack da bus la disappear
That you have speed does not make you a speed merchant. And a fast player will perform better when there is space behind, still does not make him a speed merchant. The disappearance of Mbappe is the shining level of most other players.
You might disagree with my assessment of him being the best right now, but you can’t just minimize him to a speed merchant. Dan James is a speed merchant. David Odonkor was a speed merchant.
Lastly, we have to avoid the trap of rating players using Messi/Cronaldo standards.
KingAlabi: Many people will disagree with you, it all depends on who is their keep man in the coming fixtures though.
The ligue 1 race is really hot, Monaco can be the surprise winners.
Yeah of course. It is just my opinion.
I just think Mbappe is the surest thing in football ( or at least as sure as you can get in an uncertain sport). Even a player like Haaland is still a risk IMO.
KingAlabi: Honestly, I would really want PSG to win the champs, let's see who gets the ballon d'or, Neymar or Mbappe
Mbappe.
Neymar has actually declined physically. He has slowed down a bit and is not able to get away from opponents like a few years ago. Mbappe is the best player in the world presently.
Beorn: That can't be Eruditör. Eruditör is a Barcelona fan and he doesn't cuss as much as Íllimitable does. Besides, Eruditör would be seen defending Pep and shading Mourinho, not defending Mourinho or debating strictly United topics.
raumdeuter: I remembered this game, I watched it in OAU SUB. I remembered celebrating when Ziege scored for Spurs thinking it was done bfore Manure turned it around
Yeah. Watched it in school as well. All my Assanal friends were celebrating not knowing the comeback was imminent.
But the circumstances surrounding that Eveeton match. 3 games left to play, I think we were 2 points above Chelsea. Mourinho Chelsea had won the league the two previous seasons. The situation was delicate and we were 0-1 down at half time. The match was unnecessary difficult, and then Everton scored a second early in the second half.
Yeah. The Everton match was very crucial and our team was not really that star studded. Coincidentally Amaka was involved in both of them.
patrickmuf: SAF threw in all he got...Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov were all on the pitch when at some point in the 2nd half of that game...For me too, it's the best I ever watched...
No. This one was before their time. It was Ruud, Cole, Amaka, Veron, Becks e.t.c
