They have the best team in the league and are favourites to win the FA Cup. They are also likely going to win the league title.

It’s not all black and white. The Ancient Egyptian rulers i.e the Pre-Ptolemaic rulers were likely light brown skinned (not white but also not black like us).

The only definite black Pharaohs were the 25th dynasty who were the rulers just before the Assyrian conquest.

Cleopatra though was definitely a white person descended from Classical Macedonia (modern Northern Greece).

Iqbal in particular should go on loan to mid table team in la liga. Mainoo should remain, a year on the fringes and loan after Iqbal returns.. and if he cracks it with United at 19, well why not?
I think Hannibal should also remain and we see how he does till January to decide. a further six months spell in a Bundesliga team should suffice if he's still not ready.

Mainoo has to go somewhere to play regular football. He hardly played any games this season already. Another season on the sidelines would be detrimental to his development and I don’t see think the Under-21 is challenging enough for him. He needs to play meaningful football against men who are using it to feed their families.

La Liga style is so different from England. I would prefer if they stayed in England. Pellistri, Pereira, Martial all had wasted loans in Spain.

It is more important that the right club is chosen though. Apart from running around and learning how to use muscle, Hannibal learnt nothing from playing in this atrocious kick and follow Birmingham team. Amad on the other hand was put in the perfect situation with an attack minded manager who believed in him.

What is the point of spending time and money developing a player only to sell said player before they get an opportunity?

Mainoo at 18 should be sold because he is not ready? How many 18yr old midfielders do you know that would be ready for the EPL?

If Mainoo and Iqbal are not ready next season they should be loaned out to get regular senior minutes.

Mejbri got fairly regular minutes this season (although they chose the wrong club). They have to now make a big decision on Mejbri. Do they keep him or sell him, and if they keep him does he join the senior team or go for another loan (this time in the EPL).

Of course they might decide not to buy him but the potential for 40m is there for Southampton. That potential evaporates immediately Southampton sells him for cheap this summer. Anyway, i heard that Todd Boehly is interested in him this summer, and you know that one starts his bid from 80m. grin

It is in the contract. They only need to hold on to him for 1 more season and City can buy him back for 40m. The wise move for them would be to keep him for nex season and hopefully he helps them get back to the EPL. Only an enticing deal now would make them forego his much-needed services next season plus the potential City windfall in 2024.

Most definitely, but City put a buy back clause in his transfer. They can buy him back for 40m pounds from 2024. The only way Southampton sell him this summer is for close to 50m.

Mainoo is probably injured. I don't think he has even played for the Under-21s since March. Iqbal too has placed only about 2 games in that period.

ETH has been very reluctant to use the youth players which is not what we expected from his reputation.

Apart from Garnacho both Mainoo and Iqbal should have had more minutes here and there this season.

I was almost sure Antony would not create a quality chance from that move. That is what happens when your first instinct is to score rather than create. He was cutting in to score and only passed it to Martial after his shooting chance was gone.

If there is any doubt about how incompetent those leeches are, just see how they are struggling to sell the club. They started selling in Dec and now it is May.
The club can’t make transfer plans because we don’t know who our owners will be next season, which means we don’t know how much money will be available for transfers.

The way things are going next season might already be a struggle due to the wretched Glazers.

I remember when I said I had seen some dilapidated parts of Old Trafford and nitrogen said I was wrong. It made me think he must have carried out a detailed inspection of every corner of the place.

But you were one of the most vociferous Glazer supporters here. When I said that Old Trafford needed repairs you kept saying it was a lie and that the Glazers had spent enough money in maintaining the club.

Long before Cristiano Ronaldo spoke up about the need for repairs some of us here said the same thing but you were supporting the Glazers.
