An elected official saying "this is a Christian state"? Wow. |
Honestly, I feel the time for dialog is almost gone. These militants are not willing to talk. When the so called dialog commences, some factions will arise and claim that those at the meeting do not represent the naija delta people. Then one more explosion would follow and it's back to square one. Even if you invite asari dokubo, tompolo, clarke and even Jonathan, somebody will still say the delegation is incomplete and some of the names mentioned will not even show up. As long as the fighters believe they should control the lion share of the resources, there will be no resolution. The FG is probably making this move to preserve the image of the government in handling insurgency since the army's brutal approach to everything is not helping matters. However, the militants are recalcitrants themselves. |
Goldenheart:Lmao Dem dey twerk inside car? |
In a building project, the builder, structural engineer, mechanical engineer, etc, are themselves supervised by the architect. Ideally they should meet with him to get approval for payment or changes on site. He is the one who protects the interest of the client. Don't make the mistake of listening to artisans instead of professionals. Artisans may bring cheaper ideas based on experience but no two sites / projects are the same and the seemingly expensive option given by the architect may save you extra cost and headache tomorrow. Hire a builder and let him run all his changes / suggestions through the architect. The builder supervises the site and the architect manages the builder. |
Controversy means more money to them |
When someone says he doesn't care what happens to the last set of "investors", you know he is a thief. A system that can be interrupted and frozen without warning is simply scam. Someone somewhere managing the system can just pair himself with another person just to get help then disappear until he needs more pocket money. The day is almost here. January the 14th. I advise all of you expecting money from this scheme not to raise your hopes. I am glad the government did not interfere. Let the scheme teach greedy people a lesson of a life time. |
They have been collecting bribes since. They just want an excuse to step up their bribe game. Imagine! Threatening to commit an offence. |
And some people decided to import this? I think they deserve to be jailed and fed with their plastic rice. Evil businessmen. |
Just be careful Bro. Some guys may tell you they would finish the duplex for 10M or less so that they can get the job later on they'll start adding costs. You may end up paying double. Suspect anyone who gives you a bill that looks too good to be true. They are often time and money wasters. Also, let's hear from developers or builders. Enough of these laymen giving you advice. |
Computer generated voice indeed. Only an ignoramus would believe Wike's dumb excuse. In fact this excuse is an insult to technology. |
If you do drugs and your music is not making other people high then you need a lot of improvement. Drugs only accentuate talent. Build on your talent. Be a real musician. |
Opakan2:He messed up big time with that lofty speech about letting the senate remain independent. He needs to learn the cunning of seasoned politicians and quit treating these vipers with kid gloves. The next thing we would hear now is the next CCT hearing or a fresh case of forgery filed against Saraki and his sidekick. That is just boring and ineffective. These lawmakers need to dread the actual loss of their seats before they act right. |
Opakan2:Buhari lost everything when he watched Saraki emerge as senate president without attempting to influence the proceedings. Even though APC "heads" the legislature, the president will have a rough time working with both houses until his tenure expires. He should have buried Saraki's political career at the CCT but using the trial as a bargaining chip will eventually cost Buhari dearly. There are some tasks you have to finish utterly or be finished. I won't be surprised if Saraki instigates a vote of no confidence on the president soon. It is overdue in fact. Just the slightest slip and impeachment proceedings would commence. The senators are very powerful and only the fear of prosecution can keep them in check. Their hands are not clean so it shouldn't be difficult to arm-twist a few key members. |
plaetton:Well said. The OP said a lot and nothing, skirting around the crux of the matter. Ponzi schemes appeal to greedy people who don't care where the next "profit" comes from as long as they are not the fall guy. All the arguments supporting MMM often gloss over or totally avoid the eventual unravelling of the scheme. What happens to the last guy? No one gives a damn. Well, they have just found out. The scheme was "frozen" without notice yet some participants believe in the goodwill of the administration that could make such a drastic move on your money without warning. How can you trust such a system? Come January, excuses will emerge; some, citing the contrary stance of the government. I hope those affected would learn. I doubt it though. Why? Because you can almost always count on the greed of humans. |
Ponzi schemes thrive on greed. You would always need a scapegoat to cash out. |

The only thing I want is peace of mind. That's all. No drama. No wahala abeg. |
annayawchee:You're welcome mate. |
MaxCoates:Lol. You are bent on exposing your ignorance. If you still cannot identify a plainly phoney story like this then I cannot help you. Cheers. ![]() |
![]() Now this is the real sweet sixteen. Still too old for me though. |
annayawchee:Same thing I have been reflecting on for some days now. Well, that's the way life is. Whether we struggle to make it or not, we all get levelled by death. Enjoy your life while you have it. Another thing that I learned is we shouldn't live to please the crowd. If Donald Trump could garner the support of so many women after saying "grab 'em by the p**sy"; and Hillary with all her proper diplomatic speeches could receive such negative vibes from the electorate, then we should give less attention to public opinion. I'm still ruminating on this though. One more thing, you should look out for yourself. Don't keep pouring out your virtue to others who would never be there when the chips are down. Take good care of yourself. |
Ferruccio:Who said rape is a joke? Stop playing to the gallery. I said your story is phoney, Mr Attorney. What kind of lawyer shares damning eyewitness account in the romance section of a forum? Fake. ![]() |
MaxCoates:Are you pissed that you could not identify simple fiction? Don't burst a vein bro. My opinion has nothing to do with the concept of rape or the fact that things like this may happen. I thought you would be smart enough to deduce such a no-brainer. Well, I think I must have overestimated your intelligence. My bad. ![]() Okay, let me phrase it in simple terms for you. This event did not take place. The OP wrote a tale to amuse himself by reading comments like yours. You are just part of the entertainment. ![]() |
Xiadnat: Please be careful. Who are you anyway? Some closet feminist? ![]() |
If she looks so good you didn't even suspect the huge age difference then I'd say stick to her. Who does not want an ageless beauty? Overlook this. |
MaxCoates:I said the story is fake. Any educated mind can tell. My opinion does not detract from the veracity of statistics of child rape in South Africa. However, this particular narrative is fiction. It is for the entertainment of the OP. |
Raine80:Correct. The story is fake anyway. |
Hmm na wa o If she were my girl, I'd never cheat... what am I looking for again outside? |
