The Constitution requires at least one minister from each state of the federation. That is at least 36 ministers. No way he can downsize that unless the National Assembly ammends it.

Well, this is Nigeria. Saraki is the Senate President and so this a high profile case. Besides he is still a member of the ruling party. Naturally, everyone would look before they leap.

Did the Police say they stayed their hand because of any FHC or Appeal court ruling? Don't add to the truth. The police only told us they had not received the bench warrant. Don't rewrite the news bro.

As far as CCB is concerned there was no case whatsoever at FHC stopping them from going ahead with their trial because they are both equal to each other so i guess the Judge at FHC realized this that was why he honorably withdraw from the Case because the outcome weather good or bad will never have any impact with CCB.

Exactly. Saraki's lawyers have not helped his case at all. Running to the High Court shows the helplessness of their situation. They went seeking a powerless injuction. Too late. They must appear at the CCT and dance to the music till the end when hopefully he will be found guilty and stripped of his office as a Senator and by implication as the Senate President. Only the CCT can determine his fate.

Saraki's lawyers goofed when they assumed that the FHC had jurisdiction over cases exclusive to the CCT. Oga Judge shouldn't have run away na. Shebi he get power. CCT is a special tribunal and is not lower than any High Court. The trial of Saraki will continue as planned.
