Afikoo:Shut your bloody trap. BTW, I'm Igbo |
No spice. Just pure poetry |
After we said our vows You did not bring your heart home Because it meant taking him And how could you forget him If you took your heart with you. Even when we swore an oath before God and men Bound our words with the rings we exchanged Sealed our union with a kiss Your heart still stayed with him You say its his forever. Every night I come hoping you pay the debt of love A million ripples stir my heart I suspect it does not matter How would it? You have no heart You left it with him |
Ginaz:Shut your trap. Stop concorting wild imaginations. Is Kcee not Igbo? Besides how many Igbo artistes have commented? Don't bring your twisted ideology of life here |
If you wanna speak, speak, don't talk |
jasysandra:I have sent you a PM. Better still: chikasco@gmail.com |
jasysandra:Do you believe in GOD: I believe in a supreme being/force. It goes by different names, one if which is God. Besides man crested God. Can you read ALOT: Yes o! Are you a patient person: nope Are you in search of money, power or fame: Never. I'm altruistic. |
From the comments of members such as Jasysandra, I share the same beliefs with AMORC. I study nature and believe that it makes name understand the universe more. I also believe that Christianity which is being preached today is superficial and for one to understand Christianity or any religion then study other religions. I believe in the 12 universal laws and I am so so curious. However I am a free spirit that can't subscribe to any institutionalised authority. All these I gained by reading and asking myself deep questions. |
Stupid Oba. Have you seen the Queen of England kneeling in Church? Shame |
Queenyprinxex:Shut your trap |
zaragal:Simple grammar, you can't even write. Which sensible guy would want to roll with you. For someone to be claiming religious and still being tribalistic, I just don't get it. If you have travelled round Nigeria as you claimed, you would know that the turn-offs you mentioned are also found in other tribes. Your notion of igbos being violent is flawed. How many times have u heard of Igbos attack other tribes in their land? You are just an Ethnic bigot with sugarcane chaff for brains. |
zaragal:Fool. Obviously you have not travelled outside your village |
dhantey324:Please go back to school |
I plan visiting Port Nuovo this Xmas. Can anyone give me travel details and hotels? |
Keep shooting yourselves in the foot by getting the backing of dubious groups. Biafrauds |
Ikorodu Road en route Lagos Island. This is a bogus description. What part of Ikorodu road. Which area? Especially since you mentioned traffic lights. There are no traffic lights on the whole stretch of Ikorodu road except in Ojuelegba axis, Stadium and Jibowu and you have the option of using the overhead bridge especially fo someone heading to the island. So please update us with more info. |
Whether you complete the story or not, I have one conclusion. The OP is just good at using people to achieve what she wants. |
Op your husband obviously missed his childhood/adolesence. He is trying to make up for lost time. However, didn't you notice these traits when you guys were dating? If he was still single I would have advised that he tries dating other women. When his heart gets broken and girls don show am pepper, he would man up. But your case is complex because you are married. I don't think talking to him would work because he does not see anything wrong with his action. His friends would complicate things because he would feel that they do not know what love means. If his parents are still alive, talk to them about it, especially the father. PS: nairaland is not the type of place to seek advise. The forum is filled with teenagers and emotionally fixated adults that cant transcend beyond their teenage psychological state. Those if you abusing the poster obviously don't get her drift. She needs a MAN not a puppet. What the hell would a man be doing with his wife in the salon EVERY WEEKEND for christ sakes? |
commitcrime:Obviously you are very immature. |
I work in the oil and gas industry, drilling to be specific. I am a roughneck with about 4 years experience. Yes, there is apparent discrimination between contract and full staff. While as a contract you only get paid your basic, with little allowance, full staff enjoy numerous benefits. They are eligible for loans and even have their dstv subscriptions paid for them. They also have job security which contract workers don't enjoy. But also within the full staff, there is discrimination between local workers and 'expats'. While a Nigerian driller may be earning N1m a month, a foreign driller earns about $12,000 pet month. His flight ticket us paid for him, including other benefits we (blacks) never get to hear of. However, due to the crash in oil prices, there is a lot if labour turnover. A lot of people have lost their jobs. Rigs are packing up. Surely, this is not the best time for oil companies. So I advise oil workers to ALWAYS have side runs and businesses. Emphasis on businesses and not house(s). Invest in something that would remit daily or weekly cash. Stop carrying concubines and think your job has infinite elasticity. Also thus should be an eye opener for those hoping to get into the industry. These are not the best times as companies are downsizing. Personally, I hate my job ad a rig worker. Can't wait to get out of an organisation that typifies Karl Marx's objectification of workers. The company values it's tools and equipment above human beings. |
all4naija:Plz go and such on your mom's feeding bottle and leave the strong men to chew meat. If na to buy car of N5m to pose, you go buy. Yo pay common 500k, you dey complain. |
livinbygrace:But she would never leave her husbands house for you. Besides, its most sugar mummies you know. Tell me, which gal for naija no dey money conscious? Poverty dey smell |
all4naija:Please if you don't know anything about culture shut up. That's why your people marry many wives and father numerous children they can't take care of, including having numerous concubines. Stop evaluating everything in monetary terms. Those items on that list would even be shared with community members. |
The equation is simple. Marry Igbo wife, have a high probability of a stable marriage. Marry from any other part of (southern) naija and have a high probability of a rocky marriage. Those of you saying oyinbo is cheaper, wait till the woman divorces you and takes two-third of all your life struggles, then you would know that the 500k is chicken change. Besides Nsukka girls no dey chest. Try it and run mad. I schooled there, so I know |
Instead of leading protests against governors that have impoverished the region, you are agitating for an utopic self determination. If Biafra succeeds, who will rule us? The same old political class. Why not channel this energy into usurping the recycled Nigerian political class. The sponsors of Biafra protest are just hypocritical. |
The terrorists spoke english in a french speaking country. Does that not tell you guys something? Islam/muslims are the scapegoats for a wider agenda. How come the US and French special forces were mobilised so quick? |
Those of you saying 80k in Ibadan is more than 150k/200k in Lagos are just scared of leaving your comfort zone. His new job also has other allowances. Lagos is also a land of opportunities. He can rent a mini flat while his family still stays in IB. With time he would find his way round Lagos and hopefully if he is smart, would open up a side hustle. Even if you spend 1k a day on transport, you would still have enough if you are prudent. He can even open a biz in IB with what he makes in lag and go over there to oversee it on weekends. But seriously, a PhD holder should be doing research, lecturing or own his business and not running after jobs. This over dependence on certificate sef. |
Chidozieude:I am Igbo and I concur with what you say. Its just sad that the youths can't learn from.the mistake of their fathers. Foolish people |
OP, please leave all these dimwits. They thunk.politics is,all about rigging and chop-i-chop. There is a,serious power tussle going on. |
klax:And your Christianity is not a satanic religion? A religion that supported colonisation and slave trade. A religion that supported witch-hunting in Europe for 400 years. A religion that supported crusades and inquisitions? A religion that posits that the black man would forever serve the white man based on the ridiculous assumption that he is a descendant of ham. Its obvious that you get your information from CNN. Go and read! |

Who are terrorist, Islam is terrorist no question about it. I knew Europe will pay heavily for these their silliness of embracing people they know with a satanic religion.
