[img][/img] ugolance:Show the world incontrovertible evidence that Amaechi looted Rivers state dry! Let's even leave Fashola own, cos you can claim Ambode is covering for him. I hope u can see the way EFCC has been tackling these looters with hard evidence of transfers from CBN to their accounts/cover up companies. Wike is the governor Rivers now, and he is a die hard PDP. It's time for PDP to get its own pound of flesh!! ![]() Let Wike show the world (not only Nigeria) the bank statements that shows the billions Amaechi transferred to private accounts and companies. You guys better put pressure on Wike to search the records and publish same, or remain quiet in shame for ever. Back to the matter, this is a good development, EFCC has definitely got her groove back! Call it witch-hunt or whatever, the message is clearly being communicated that you may be called to give accounts one day. If APC too feel invisible because they are in power now, let them attempt looting the treasury to fund their party and other mofos, and they too will surely face the music. 2019 is not even sure for them yet, so their own nemesis may be quicker and more fierce, as they are ones that set the precedence. Power is transient. Obey the process not individuals, excuse yourself from illegal directives and instructions. As a civil servant, the worst is to sideline and deny u promotion. As a politician, it is expected of u to resign honourably than carry out those illegal acts. But trust greedy Nigerians, they will never do any of the above because they also have their greedy eyes on what they can get. When kasala now burst, they will be forming smart claiming- "I was acting on instructions/directives of my Boss". One IMF stooge also used that line, others are definitely taking after her. |
TANTUMERGO007:Saraki's head first. He is not there in the interest of the masses, but for his own selfish ambition. The jeeps and the speed at which the proposed amendment to the CCT n CCB act went thru first and 2nd reading is a pointer. Till date, the anti corruption bills PMB sent to them has not even passed 1st reading... PIB has not passed 1st reading... No social security bill has been passed... Saraki will always frustrate good plans of the govt in future time especially if it doesn't align with his own selfish political interest. If he successfully blackmails PMB with this budget, it will surely be the beginning of many blackmails to come. So his head first pls! It is called tactical maneuver. ![]() |
At first, it seems a good news. but on seeing the price, I had mixed feelings. But the 5 years option is still ok sha, 3 years is just too short. What they need to work on is their database. I was taken aback, when I was informed that to renew even the new Driver's license, you still have to go to their office again to re-capture. Just after 3 years?? That one doesn't make sense at all. If you are asking me to re-capture after 5 years still sounds more reasonable. |
Somewhat reasonable. The senate presently seems to have seriously digressed from their mandate. |
TonyeBarcanista:Your bias and ignorance is nauseating. Both PMB and Obama were received by the Governor of Riyadh. |
That Lawyer is an embarrassment. He needs to personally tender an apology to the Judge. nonsense. |
modelmike7:Not only confused but cowardly folks. They are just deceiving themselves. Just because they issued some libelous statement with that handle, they quickly ran to press to claim the handle has been compromised. |
they think they are smart |
A lot of folks earlier criticized President Buhari during his trip to Saudi Arabia that he was not received at the airport by King Salman of Saudi Arabia. They argued that it was a pointer that he was not regarded and respected. Well...... Is Obama too not accorded respect by the Saudis? Obama was received by the US Ambassador, the highest ranking officer among the Saudis that received him was a Governor. Opinions are welcome pls

You mean she has not even been sworn in since she won the court case last Year ![]() Chai! |
agabusta: |
amtaken:It is you that is actually a dunce. This is the result of PMB's efforts at regional security integration. When he went to Chad, Cameroon and Benin, advocating for regional security integration all you short sighted folks were making jest of him. The results are been seen now, and u are still not been smart. Smh. |
Dividends of Buhari's many travel's, especially that to Chad. Nice work, Chad. |
tpiah11:Keep quiet. Bigot! |
Chai, when will this Yoruba/Igbo ish end?? |
This is getting interesting. EFCC has stylishly passed a vote of no confidence on Saraki, the Senate President by ignoring him and making the Deputy Senate President their anti corruption Ambassador. |
EFCC names Ekweremadu, Anti-corruption Ambassador The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, on Tuesday, honoured the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, with a special title of “Anti-Corruption Ambassador” based on his support for the fight against graft. The National Assembly Liason Officer, of the EFCC, Mr. Suleiman Bakari, according to a statement by the Special Adviser to the Deputy Senate President, Uche Anichukwu, stated this when he led a team of the anti-graft agency on a courtesy visit to Ekweremadu. Bakari said, “As an Anti-Corruption Ambassador, It is therefore Your Excellency, to on behalf of my Acting chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Mustafa Magu and the entire management and staff of the EFCC, decorate you as an Anti-Corruption Ambassador and formally present this frame, as a token of our appreciation to your person and office, and as a symbol of institutional partnership between the EFCC and the National Assembly.” Bakari, appealed to the National Assembly to ensure adequate funding for the agency and advocated speedy passage of all the anti-corruption Bills before it. Ekweremadu called for the establishment of Special Anti-Corruption Courts to reduce the burden on regular courts and fast-track trial of corruption cases. He explained that setting up Special Courts, was one of the surest ways to help the fight against corruption, as it would ensure speedy adjudication of corruption cases. He said, “I have been an advocate of special courts for the trial of corruption cases and I believe that other countries, who have enacted laws establishing such, are not fools because there are benefits to be derived therefrom. “The idea is to expedite trial to make sure that those who are involved in corruption matters will have their day in court. “When we have special courts, just as we have the National Industrial Court, such courts will do better than they are doing now. The establishment of special courts is not just something that will be done by an Act of the National Assembly. “We have to amend the constitution to bring it about under section 6, for the purpose of trying corruption cases.” Ekweremadu advocated value reorientation of Nigerians at all levels, with a view to returning to the good old days, and also cautioned the EFCC to ensure that in fighting corruption, it must respect the rule of law and ensure that the provisions of the constitution regarding fair hearing and treatment of an accused are also respected. He commended the EFCC for decorating him as an Anti-Corruption Ambassador, and assured them that he would live up to the trust reposed in him. He further said that the National Assembly would do everything within its powers to ensure that the Bills before it, aimed at strengthening the fight against corruption, got speedy attention. http://www.punchng.com/efcc-names-ekweremadu-anti-corruption-ambassador/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter |
http://www.channelstv.com/2016/04/19/nigerian-government-recieves-42bn-shell-five-years/ Nigerian Government Recieves $42bn From Shell In Five Years Shell petroleum Development Company of Nigeria says the sum of 42 billion US dollars was paid to the federal government as economic contribution to the joint venture partners from 2011 to 2015. In its sustainability report 2015 released on Monday, the oil giant noted that government also received 4.95 billion dollars in 2015 as production entitlement, taxes, royalties and fees. Meanwhile, the Bayelsa State government has sealed the Gbaran Ubie Oil and Gas production facility owned by Royal Dutch Shell on court orders. A statement issued by the Executive Secretary of the state’s Physical Planning and Development Board, Boro Ige-Edaba, said that this is to enable the board to conduct environmental, health, technical integrity and safety checks at the facility. http://www.channelstv.com/2016/04/19/nigerian-government-recieves-42bn-shell-five-years/ For real?? Where the money go? |
Wailers will abuse PMB that his anti corruption war has not convicted anybody, and ironically they are the ones also supporting the defenders when they unnecessarily try to delay their trials. They seriously need to have their head examined. |
This is a nice piece from Gbaja. I bet Fayose's brain can not digest it. Loud mouthed governor. He is still owing 3 months salary and has not paid pensioners for months. Yet, he is only concerned about chasing Buhari's shadows up and down. |
chukwudi44:Are u just seeing/hearing about radio/tv tax? Na this one all these local govt officials dey take harass people up and down, but I think it's only applicable to commercial premises. God forgive me, I just detest those local govt chaps. |
No escape for Dansuki, you must face your trial like a man. |
Dansuki pls go and face your trial. |
mapet:Bros thank u oh. Even after my comment, i'm surprised some people are still talking about Pelican crossing at Ojota. They obviously don't live in Lagos or not familiar with that route. |
Pedestrian bridge option
|
CACAWA:Just looked up pelican crossing. It doesn't make sense for an highway. We are having a traffic problem in Lagos, installation of a pelican crossing on a very busy highway will be very senseless and irresponsible. A well designed bridge wth disabled facilities just as LASG said they would do should solve the issue. I wonder how you missed the part where LASG said the new bridge will have facilities for the disabled. Something similar or better than the pedestrian bridge at CMS. There is also huge pedestrian traffic at CMS. I think something close to pelican crossing is on Maryland bridge, but not sure if the lights for pedestrians is still working sef.
|
CACAWA:Why not explain what a pelican crossing is. And show us some pictures to reinforce your points. |
Trashy trash from useless PDP blog. Una no use Breaking times again?? |
ddippset:Don't mind them. Let them continue with their pettiness. Amaechi is really enjoying himself. The major thing he is glad at is just that the ineffectual buffoon did not win 2nd term. All the other benefits he is enjoying now is just 'icing on the cake'. |
OLADD:You sound bitter and pained. And it is affecting your thinking. If u are an intelligent person, you'll know economic problems seen today is a consequence of past actions. "Certificateless gworo chewing, burukutu sipping junketer" as ur lots usually abuse Buhari did not stop him from defeating the ineffectual buffon. And this your current abuses will still not stop him from performing brilliantly at the end of his 4yrs mandate and defeating the candidate of you hateful lots in 2019. Abuses is for the chicken-brained. PMB has already performed well in the area of fight against Boko haram and corruption. The fight against the downturn of the economy is ongoing, and just like the boko haram war initially seems not to be working until signs are been seen today, his performance in the ares of the economy will also manifest soon. |
yarimo:This your certificate issue is stale abeg. |
Whew. That's a long one. Malami as AGF, who ought to condemn the alleged impeachment of the speaker by just 5 members, stayed mute then, but now is coming to be giving us legal jargons. He himself is the originator of the whole wahala in that state. When there was a constitutional debate following the death of Audu, he was simply required to approach the supreme court for an interpretation of what INEC should do. That would have solved a lot of problems and closed the door to a lot of litigations btw Faleke and the current governor/PDP candidate. Instead of following the easy simple path, he decided to make an already complex situation more complex. Eventhough i'm an ardent supporter of PMB, I must say i'm disappointed in the actions of Malami as regards this Kogi state issue. He has shown himself to have a vested interest in that state. I think PMB needs to call him to order. Before he starts tainting his administration. May God save Nigeria from all these troublesome AGFs. |
