stillchris: hahahahahahaha... Nigeria flew alpha jets to liberia and sl without air-air missiles during the civil wars there. did same to mali past Niger. that is the experience we are talking about brah.
fools. your military and government are so inexperienced in such missions that they forget they have to ask for permission to fly past the countries' airspace by which hostile attack on your jets by the host countries is less likely. seeing as serious as the crisis was then, those countries would have obliged without much delay. That's if you are truly respected over there.
it's common sense bro.
so by your explanation, SA lacks the diplimatic power to make such happen.
#NewRevelation. The SAAF was afraid of Zimbabwean F-7 jets . |

"John Morgan, a South African working in Zambia, was amazed while at Ndola airport on Saturday waiting for his flight and four Gripen fighter aircraft landed.
Shortly thereafter, a South African C-130 Hercules cargo plane with the Gripens ground crew also landed there. Morgan's photos show the Gripens IRIS air-to-air missiles and equipped with long-range tanks.
According to Beeld's information a stock of bombs was sent in a C-130."
Stock of bombs sent in a C-130. End of discussion. Nope, ask your friends to tell us the name of SAAF Gripens air to ground missiles, not bombs, missiles deployed in Zambia. mzilakazi: I say again that is LUG-tot-GROND missile meaning AIR-to-GROUND missile. jln115: It clearly says in Afrikaans that out Gripens were carrying Air-to-Ground missiles why the fvck would we have Air-to-Air missiles in CAR. jln115: Source clearly says Air-to-Ground missiles . |

patches689: Seleka lost over 400 men - that is a fact Show us photo of one single dead body of Seleka or coffin, I have 15 photos of 15 dead SANDF troops. Until proved with photo evidence, NO SELEKA REBEL DIED IN BANGUI ! . |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 2:46pm On May 15, 2015 |
saengine: Aha. As i thought. Reporters go to Bangui, get specific quotes from officers specifically stating they took heavy casualties. But the truth has you desperately coming up with an excuse not to believe it....pathetic. That photo of a Seleka rebel sitting on a SA Army gecko vehicle was taken by the same journalists. So you also refuse to believe the pic? That gecko wasnt really captured? Okay then. Who told you the photo of Seleka boy mocking SANDF on your army's Gecko vehicle was taken by the same South African journalists who were sitting inside their Johannesburg office writing fake stories that 400 Seleka died in a battlefield they could not visit 1,000 km away? Why those same South African journalists show us one photo of one single dead Seleka rebel if they were able to take photo of Seleka on Gecko without the Seleka daggers cutting off their Southie necks Dude, that photo is more likely taken by the PR unit of Seleka to make Mandela army's history the worst in Africa Many SANDF Elite troops Geckos were captured, not just one, it's many vehicles, the rat race running South African army left ALL their vehicles behind, see photo gallery of the century below .... EPIC Embarrassment, hilarious and world class humiliation of South Africa's military and national pride, this is what happens when South African military has to fight alone without United Nations leadership or the help of thousands of foreign mercenaries like UNITA .

saengine: Fact? Okay....you typed that message and pressed submit. No one forced you. You have stated it as fact. Hmmm.
Let me turn you into an Augustine before i sleep. That calculation is based on 26 AIRFRAMES. Meaning that calculation only holds true if there were 26 Gripen pilots in 2013 when those figures were released. I'm pretty sure you are the same person who said we had 6 Gripen pilots in 2013....fact! You have recently upped that number to 9.
So which one of your "facts" are "facts"? 26 Gripen pilots in 2013 or 6 Gripen pilots in 2013? Will be intetesting to see how you scramble to edit your "fact". As more info comes, we adjust figures. As at today, SAAF has only 9 Gripen pilots and 9 navigators. What if I said 6 pilots before I got info source on 9 pilots, what is wrong with that? Your South Africans here said in early 2015 that Nigeria has 0 T-72 tanks, later they said we had 4 T-72, later they said 12 T-12, next they changed to 14 T-72, later they agreed we had 56 T-72 tanks, next they say okay T-72 M1 + T-72 AV you have maybe about 100 T-72 tanks..... Did you ask your Southie guys to explain why they change numbers? Keep scratching your coconut head for an answer to give me . |

patches689: Citation needed. My pleasure.... http://mg.co.za/article/2013-03-28-00-central-african-republic-is-this-what-our-soldiers-died-forSANDF was in Bangui, objective is to ensure South Africa's business continues to grow.
The lure of arms deals and diamonds – and possibly other mineral resources – sucked the ANC into the Central African Republic.
Inala Centrafrique was formally registered in August 2006. Over time, its shareholding was settled at a 35% stake for the CAR government and 65% going to a South African company, Serengeti Group Holdings. The latter was majority-owned by Nxumalo, whose notoriety during the ANC underground days was underscored by his part in the Virodene vitamins-for-Aids scandal. Significant stakes also belonged to Pereira and the Chancellor House Trust, share registers show. An Inala Centrafrique business proposal to the CAR government, dated July 6 2007, retrospectively confirmed that “the joint venture is a culmination of the accord signed by both … Mbeki … and Bozizé … during the meeting of the governments in South Africa in … 2006 for the two countries to work together.” It identified Nxumalo as chief executive and Pereira as chief operations officer. While this deal was being hammered out behind the scenes, South Africa signed a formal, five-year defence co-operation agreement with the CAR on February 11 2007, involving both the deployment of South African troops and the provision of military equipment. Zuma renewed the agreement in December last year, on the grounds of which, in the face of the growing crisis, he ordered a reinforcement of troops to the CAR in January this year. Diamonds and arms The Inala Centrafrique joint venture between the CAR government and Pereira, Nxumalo and the Chancellor House Trust was primarily a mechanism to buy diamonds from the CAR's small-scale miners. But the plan had two other elements, which, if implemented, would give Inala and its ANC-linked shareholders total dominance of the CAR's diamond market. The first was an initiative to create and equip, on behalf of the state, a police des mines, or mining police, to combat illegal diamond dealing. |

mzilakazi: I quoted the US army because is your demi-god. I wanted to show you that weapons are stolen everywhere in the world in each and every country. BH before they started with their insurgency campaign they started by first stealing your weaponry right inside Nigeria.
Your source says the weapons were later found to have been in possession of rebels. Majority of those weapons were stolen in care of Burundian government troops. We trained them and let them to use some of our vehicles and weapons. I deployed to Bujumbura twice in my military career and I know what is like there. SANDF defeated all the rebels in Burundi and many of them handed in their weapons.
Nigerian military can do whatever they like but will not recover all the weapons they lost to BH. They just can't never. We don't care about US army weblinks you are posting. Post weblinks to prove that SANDF recovered all your heavy weapons looted from your hands by local Burundi rebels, show us proof ! I have proof that Nigerian army recovered or destroyed all our weapons looted by Boko Haram. See photos below. Now post photos to proof South African army has achieved same thing that Nigerian army has done to Boko Haram, prove it ! . |

SANDF and SAAF sent reinforcements that refused to fight, jet fighter, helicopter gunships, and extra troops all landed in Zambia, refused to enter CAR for fear of death by Seleka, returned back to Pretoria empty handed, refused to fire a single bullet after flying 1,000 km away from home. mzilakazi: We achieved our objective through operation Vimbela (protect). Our main objective was to make sure Mr Bozize does not die. Nope, SANDF failed in it's objective, the plan was to stay as long as you wanted to be in CAR and allow mineral resources business to grow between South Africa and C.A.R, your business dream was NOT acheived because your military objective FAILED to maintain control of CAR government for the mineral mining licences and production. Seleka boys defeated South African elite troops and special forces in battle, that crushed and collapsed South Africa's military and business objectives together in one single day . EVarn: Shekau is a fixed name for any leader of BH,If Shekau III were to die today, his replacement would also bear the name 'Shekau'. For example: if the said 'replacement's name were to be originally Mohammed Al-Khalifa,on assuming leadership of the sect, the name would simply change to [s]Mohammed Al Khalifa Bin Abu-bakr Ibin Shekau[/s].Such is the way of islamic terrorists.Do you now understand?,yes?,good!.
We also cannot rule out the assumption that it may be his 'doubles' that were killed in NA raids, because frankly,it doesnt make sense that shekau accompanied his troops to assault an heavily guarded target such as Konduga, leaders of terrorist groups are always known to be highly insecure and paranoid,it is more in shekau's style to allow his men do the heavy fighting and then 'occupy' the town before he dares to personnally venture into such a town. You think the Southies don't know the fact? They do. Just envy won't let them admit it, their ego gets bruised. SANDF could not kill Seleka leader Djotodia in CAR Bangui. South Africa envies Nigeria for killing Shekau I & II, and we put Shekau III on the run for his life, Naija SF will hunt him down ! .

mzilakazi: compared to SA which only lost 15 soldiers is seen as unbeaten before your eyes. SANDF fought for just about 15 hours, lost 15 soldiers. So you lost 1 man per hour, super high death rate ! saengine: Did i say army? I said operational unit. Learn to read. 120 men is a big unit...trained by a private company. Embarrassing.
You see how your brain skips many details when you are desperate? Let me school you with an example. Small units of special forces in deep penetration missions do not drive around in tanks and use artillery, but they are still highly effective with only their rifles. So effectiveness of a unit is not directly proportional to it having tanks and artillery, it is directly proportional to that unit's specific mandate. Do teams of special forces make up an entire army? Are they not still effective? Before you say 72 SF is not special forces, again...this is just an example.
Again, a PRIVATE COMPANY developed, trained and deployed an entire operational unit within the Nigerian army. Embarrasssment of the highest order.
72 Strike Force Pty Ltd The only embarrassment we see in Africa is 1,000 mercenaries from USA, UK, Portugal paid cash to wear SANDF uniforms in combat etc, and 60,000 Angolan UNITA mercenaries paid cash by South Africa, all mercenaries paid for fighting to save South African army from the hands of MPLA, inexperienced teenage Cuban boys and girl soldiers in Angola war, they even captured some SADF mercenaries .

They remained on stand-by to counter any action that the rebel would contemplate to take against us. jln115: So im guessing these were imaginary missiles? And they were in the DRC, they stopped in Zambia on their way back to South Africa! This your photo is another South Africa lies and propaganda. 1. SAAF has NO SINGLE air to ground missile.
