Nigerian ASW helicopter with no crew?

How will it sink a submarine if it is stuck in its hangar?
We have crew, Lynx ASW is in reserve. Not needed now. No threat except piracy.

Why should we deplopy anti-submarine helicopters against pirates when we have 8 Augusta Naval helicopters flying against pirates daily?

We save our best assets for the time of need. Nigeria does not use missile frigate to chase pirates like Southies do and wreck the Valour engines, you had to replaced a whole brand new engine within 3 years of purchase ! Nation of headless wasters, prodigals. Sensible countries use OPV for anti-piracy ops.

NN has Lynx ASW helos in reserve, same way SAN has 3 frigates and 2 submarines in reserve

We are talking about radar not submarine warfare!
Oh really? I am sure we were talking about submarine warfare because you said Nigerian Lynx helicopter has no torpedoes and that SAN will sail submarine to attack Nigeria and we can do nothing about it. That is what you said and everybody read it here !

Are torpedoes guided by radar inside water? Yesterday was a bad day for y.ou man ! grin

Nigeria has anti-submarine warfare capability.

grin grin grin grin Almost dropped my coffee cup.

Let me break it down:

3 barrels.

Fires a less powerful round.

With a higher rate.
Sure, a 3 barrel gatling gun from T-129 is enough to make you drop your coffee and run like SANDF, it's more deadly than 1,000 Seleka rifles.

Less powerful round? How?

102 mm Vs 139 mm, both will k.ill

So how is 102 mm less powerful? Can you survive it?

Nigerian AK-47 is 7.62 mm calibre

South African R-4 rifle is 5.56 mm calibre

You have just admitted that AK-47 rifle has a more powerful bullet than R-4 rifle. Thank you shocked shocked

What is "total fire power caliber"?
Two 7.62 mm calibre bullets from AK-47 rifle means a total physical mass of metal 15.24 mm is lodged inside y.our forehead grin grin

How do you fire "two shots rapidly" with a hunting rifle? In Nigeria you hunt with machine gun?

Fake...fake...fake military researcher. You are not well mentally. Whoever agrees with you is in an even worse state.

Tell us.....these "3 shells", when they are fired towards a target, what is their orientation?

Is it 3 rounds one behind the other in a "line" heading to the target? Or is it 3 rounds next to each other in a "wall" heading to the target?

If a gatling gun is fired on full automatic, its a continous stream of bullets in one line to the target. If Rooivalk fires at full automatic, its a continous stream of bullets in one line to the target. How are they different? Please stop making up sh.it as you go along. You are being nothing but a troll. "3 × caliber" for fvck sakes.
Me troll? So what are you? An angel? No, you are more like a vampire my friend.

I am a hunter, I go to the woods, I kill deer with my rifle. We fire 2 shots rapidly on a deer, we get to it where it fell, we find 2 different gun shot wounds close to each other, not in a straight line of second bullet tailing the first bullet behind and pushing it deeper into the deer on the same bullet hole, it never happened.

When you receive T-129 gatling fire in y.our coconut head, there will be 3 leaking holes with your Soweto brain popping out in 3 places.

A gatling gun will release 3 bullets on one trigger pull as the gun revolves in super rapid speed, I have posted 3 videos to prove that already.

Rooivalk will NEVER match the firepower of T-129 gun, the white man that invented 3 barrel gatling saw 1 barrel gun as inadequate, making him invent a superior gun.

However, if you still want count how many holes a 3 barrel gun will drill in y.our Soweto head, I advice you bring that head to Lagos, Nigeria has 3 barrel gatling guns on our Mi-35 Hinds, just put your head a few inches directly in front of one, tell NAF gunner to fire with one trigger pull.

After the experiment, come back and post your experince on this forum

You thought all 3 barrels fired at once

Thats why you added all three calibers together!!
I added it together so that a m0ron like you will know that when a 3 barrel gatling gun is fired at y.our h.ead in one pull of the trigger, the gun will rapid-spin-rotate to release 3 shells, and according to the physics law of mass/weight, 3 x 102 mm shells means a solid metal of total mass of 306 mm is now resident with permanent visa inside y.our under-developed brain grin grin

Nope, you quote where I said all 3 barrels fire simultaneously at once....quote me !

Bwahahaha, T-129 is now y.our torment with 3 barrel gun....Rooivalk has a 1 barrel weak gun grin grin

One pull on trigger of that T-129 gatling gun will spin a complete revolution of the 3 barrels, and one split second high speed revolution will release 3 shells in split seconds, so super-fast you won't even know 3 bullets are in y.our skull until the d.emon at the gate of hades confirms the reason for your premature arrival at the gates of eternity grin grin

That is the superior firepower of T-129 helicopter 3 barrel gatling gun...superior to the Rooivalks one bullet at a time.

Show us a video of Rooivalk gun firing your weak 20mm 1 barrel old gun, compare it to video of a 3 barrel gatling gun like the T-129 below !

@ henry how good and advanced these beechcraft are ....... ? because to me they luk like old relic's, can they be deployed to the north-east ?
Those 3 units are NAF transport Beechcraft 350, only liaison transport role.

NAF has 2 units of Beechcraft 350 ER version for ISTAR role in war zone, they have 80 km range big under-belly air to ground search radar pod and retractable FLIR for excellent battlefield surveillance and target acquisition plus data-link communication. It was these aircraft in NE war zone that Nigeria used to relay online real-time data-link battle field minute by minute situation report and battle space image monitoring to NAF and NA top brass in Abuja hundreds of kilometers away from the Boko Haram HQ in Sambisa forest.

Nigeria currently fields the most modern and most sophisticated ISTAR aircraft on the African continent.

It's an investment of about $ 200 million for the ATR-42 surveyor, Beechcraft 350ER, and Diamond DA42 aircraft.

Enough money to buy 12 units of JF-17 Thunder 4th generation jet fighters, but worth the money. The ISTAR aircraft were purchased to defeat sea piracy and border area illegal immigration, but Boko Haram war made us use them in a war we did not plan for. The aircraft are all full military specifications by manufacturer.

R3tard Just shut up, Air all over the world is the fvcking same, its fvcking Air for goodness sake not some sort of mystical being.

The Himalayas is the highest mountain range in the world, thus the guns were fired at high altitude FACT. Do you know why its so cold at altitude?......Let me educate you AGAIN, its because air has so little density at those altitudes that its impossible for the molecules to retain heat!!

NOW this is the most important question I want you to answer!!!Why do you think none of your fellow Nigerians aren't backing up this argument of yours? Why is it that NOT,@Henry,@Lezz,@Evarn ect ect ect have come to your aid regarding this argument?.....Let me tell you again! To be honest I actually feel sorry for them, they have to sit and watch someone like you slinging the Nigerian education system through the mud!!

Turkey gives combat experience to T-129 attack helicopter !

Turkey sends attack helicopters to combat PKK

Turkey has deployed the first locally-made attack helicopters to the country’s southeast, the military announced Monday.

Two T129 ATAK helicopters have been sent to Siirt province to back up operations against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK.

The two-crew aircraft, which can cruise at 269 kilometers per hour (167 miles per hour) and carry an arsenal of Hellfire missiles and guided rockets, have been assigned to the 3rd Commando Brigade.

Fvck!!!!You really are r#tarded!!

"the farther away you get from the earth, the thinner the atmosphere gets. The total heat content of a system is directly related to the amount of matter present, so it is cooler at higher elevations."
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/if-heat-rises-why-does-th/

"Altitude is the height you are above sea level. The higher up you are the lower the temperature will be. This is because air that is higher up is less dense than it is at lower altitudes and air temperature depends on its density. As a general rule for every 1,000m higher you go the temperature will drop by 6.5 °C."
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Basic_Geography/Climate/Climate_Elements

"air at higher altitudes is less dense. Since fewer air molecules exist in a certain volume of air, there are fewer molecules colliding with each other, and as a result, there will be less heat produced. This means cooler air."
https://water.usgs.gov/edu/watercyclecondensation.html
Fool, you cannot even think in line with the facts of an argument.

We were not arguing about air all over the world, the argument was between me and @Patches about air above the snow covered top of mountain Himalayas where the Indian Bofors FH-77 artillery is to be fired.....NOT, I mean NOT just any altitude of air above some random city around the normal world.

The air on snow covered Himalayas mountain is freezing cold and denser than normal warm air !

"Cold air contracts, becomes more dense, and thus heavier than warm air." www.ussartf.org/predicting_weather.htm

Dude, go learn how to argue on topic and in line of facts tabled on that specific topic. Cold air on snow covered mountain top, not cold air above Soweto township.....you dundee !
