Patchesagain:
1. Gripen PS-05/A can detect ground targets at 120km?
2. What is a recon satelight?
3. What is Thales Sophie ground search radar?
4. Laser designation can be deployed from Sniper-Pods or by SF/SOF who have a long history of deploying deep behind enemy lines.

Who says that you cannot see ground targets with Recce pods from high altitude?

100km bombs a waste of time? Are bridges mobile? Ammo dumps? Runways? Hangars? Controll towers? Motor-pools? Fuel Storage facilities? Ammo dumps? Power stations? Oil infrastructure?

Clown
How does a South African Gripen jet with 850 km maximum range, travel 5,000 km to attack Nigerian Oil infrastructure ?

You mix cocaine with your morning tea today ?

Gripen jet radar is only 75 km range in ground search and about 50 km it ground target tracking.

Recon satellite, South Africa has NONE, you have one surveillance satellite while Nigeria has 3 such satellites, we have more satellite power than you.

One satellite CANNOT cover the world, it only sees one part at the same time, your lone ranger satellite orbits the earth, when it's over China, it does not see the other continent where you are fighting war.

Nigeria has 3 satellites enough to cover almost the whole world, so we see you 3 times faster than you see us.

Mobile air defences will drive around and satellites coordinates are NOT CORRECT once the vehicle drives away to coordinate position, your GPS guidance will send guided bomb to wrong location.

SAAF will NOT be able to use any guided bomb against Nigerian targets, NAF will see your jets as soon as they take off the ground and from 500 km away, we see you, then 60 NAF jets are in the air to meet 50 SAAF jets inside your own territory.

SAAF is outnumbered and outgunned by NAF..... 50 jets Vs 60 jets .....you lose the air war, your bombs will NEVER be dropped, we will use them as fuel explosive to blow up each of your jet fighters when F-7 missiles and Alpha cannon ignite your Gripens and Hawks like Christmas fireworks

That arrangement is very stup.id and it said to have been organised by the incompetent Nigerian military. What if the militants flee deeper into Nigeria? The MNJTF will not be allowed to go any deeper, isn't? so, the arrangement of responsibilities does not do MNJTF any good.

We are talking about two different incidences, Marte and Sambisa forest. I am talking about Marte which has been forcefully taken away from your troops.
You are posting a false report....now eat the humble pie grin grin

" The reports by some media outfits claiming that terrorists are now in control of Mafa in Borno State are false. The truth is that an attempt by a group of fleeing terrorists who strayed towards the town and engaged in their typical suicide attack was duly repelled by troops. Similarly, the claim by some media organisations that terrorists chased out troops and took over Marte cannot be verified as troops were busy elsewhere during the said attack.

However, all efforts to track the terrorists who were reported to have attacked the town have not indicated their presence as claimed. Surveillance activities are however ongoing although there has been no indication of the large number of terrorists as being claimed in some reports attributed to anonymous sources. The terrorist are certainly no longer capable of that level of coordinated action by thousands of terrorists as reported.

Also, troops have not retreated from Sambisa forest as claimed by same sources. Rather, the operation is progressing and gaining increasing momentum towards clearing all terrorists hideouts in the forest.

It is noteworthy that it is becoming common for stories of attacks on some remote settlements to be fabricated and attributed to anonymous or unidentifiable source in remote places. This is apparently the work of terrorists sympathisers or propagandists.

Military operations to eliminate all terrorists hideouts are going on well and the terrorists are being seriously decimated. They will continue to be pursued and prevented from constituting danger to civilian population in their desperation for survival, suicide or publicity.

The media is advised to ignore fabrication being churned out by some terrorists sympathizers trying to encourage the terrorists who are in disarray. The truth is that the operation to decimate them from Nigerian territories is progressing well. The military will not be dissuaded by the resurgence of false reports on the operations. The progress will be prosecuted as necessary."

I have and you have posted no source that confirm you received 6 Alpha jets, but at least I provided a source that state you only received 2 Alpha jets from the US.
Defenceweb is NOT SURE of numbers, it said AT LEAST TWO....why not say two? Defenceweb knows it does not know Nigerian military things with certainty, so it cautioned itself, also it must have seen the Beegeagle as a superior source on Nigeria and is being careful not to write contrary to the powerful insider source that knows what mighty SIPRI does not know.

You can add this to your shock list, Nigeria is getting 200 T-72 tanks....SIPRI says it has lost track of Nigerian T-72 purchases, however, the insider source for the 120 Bigfoot MRAPS and 6 Alpha jets has confirmed 200 T-72 tanks, the photos and videos we have seen alone count about 100 units already, the tanks are just everywhere.

Nigeria paid USAir for 6 PGM enabled American standard upgrade Alpha jets since 2014 last year.

Nothing changes that.

"You said on the Roland vs Bomb issue that you believe I am the one editing Wikipedia to post fraud"
What? When did I ever say that?

"6 American Alpha jets are upgraded for precision guided munitions"
According to Defenceweb you only received 2: http://www.defenceweb.co.za/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=38540:nigerian-air-force-receiving-additional-alpha-jets&catid=35:Aerospace&Itemid=107

"The older French built Alphas had 9 in batch one upgrade to 6 pylons instead of 4 hard points, and second batch of 5 went for upgrades too, NAF announced that in 2014, was posted here. Adding new pylons in nit refurbishment, it's upgrade. Total now 20 Alpha jets."
According to defenceweb the 9 Alpha jets were only refurbished and not upgraded, besides receiving 2 extra hardpoints can barley be regarded as an upgrade!
http://www.defenceweb.co.za/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=36979:nigerian-air-force-returns-refurbished-c-130-to-service&catid=35:Aerospace&Itemid=107
Defenceweb knows NOTHING about NAF beyond what they read on internet. Defenceweb is NOT an authority on Nigerian air force equipment, do they know any details about the 6 American Alpha jets? It was Beegeagle that revealed the purchase contract in 2014 and showed the public photos in 2015, even SIPRI failed to get any of that information, now you talking about a copy and paste defenceweb that has no insider in NAF.

We bought 24 Alpha jets, remove 10 for attrition, 14 are for various types of upgrade at various times and batches since 2013, and 6 Amerian Alphas were purchased, a world respected SIPRI was too sidetracked by NAF to know that and SIPRI has no record of it, then you think your local defenceweb is better than SIPRI on Nigerian military.

I have no interest in discussing pointless argument of an ignorant you that says adding two extra pylons on NAF Alpha jet is a mere refurbishment not upgrade, why should I waste my time with a retaaard who calls an upgrade a refurbishment

Are you blind, 6 American Alpha jets are upgraded for precision guided munitions combat by the American users before Nigeria bought them.

The older French built Alphas had 9 in batch one upgrade to 6 pylons instead of 4 hard points, and second batch of 5 went for upgrades too, NAF announced that in 2014, was posted here. Adding new pylons is not refurbishment, it's upgrade. Total now 20 Alpha jets.

Dude!! Stop lying!! You didn't post any citation that all 20 Alpha jets were upgraded! The only citation you gave regarding the Alpha jets, was one were you stated that NAF received 9 refurbished Alpha jets!

You see, this is what you do! if you cant provide a citation to prove your claims, you lie and say you already posted a source and don't want to repost it.
I proved that Roland shoots down bombs, that is classic. I post citations for all my claims if I insist they have sources.

It's you Southies that like to argue with sources when it bursts your over-bloated bubble and shatters your inflated ego.

We just wrecked SAAF brand new 120 km range Umbani-Al Tariq guided bombs here, and you guys are butt hurt that Nigeria has capacity to defeat such a modern long range weapon by using a much older equipment. Shock, that's what we give you here, shockers...shocks...live wire.

NAF had 24 French made Alpha jets, attrition cost about 6 units.

The new American 6 Alpha jets, are American owned PGM capable and upgraded by the users, now sold to Nigeria, the videos and photos were splashed here many weeks ago. The older NAF Alpha jet upgrades showed a total of 14, the 9 was first batch. All those stories have been posted here, if you have short memory, it's normal for every South African

False news again :

“Reuters news says fighting continued till early Friday when the soldiers retreated. The town has fallen and insurgents are fully in charge, they are more than 2000 in number.

But a military source dismissed the fall of Marte as untrue, insisting that there was still an on-going battle between the troops and the insurgents.

He also said: “It is true the military and the insurgents were drawn in battle at Marte, but I can tell you that the operation is on-going, we would not allow any part of this country to be held hostage by any hoodlums.”

On the attack on Mafa, Indi said the insurgents came in large number at about 6pm but met a stiff battle from the military.
He added that the terrorists retreated when they were not making any headway."

Like any air defence system it has two radars.

A search or target acquisition radar and a tracking or fire control radar.

2. Thompson-CSF J-band monopulse doppler radar: is the fire control radar.

Come get this humble!

Did you read the links. It all so used J band radars.

Only you South African dullards think Germany and France were using a 1964 radar on their Rolands in 1985 to 2005. You fools grin

J Band or D band, SADF had 1960s Thompson radars. Nigeria has 1980s Siemens-Thompson radar. They are different.

Proof....SADF Thompson radar of 1964 is an older weaker version with 4.5 km altitude :

In July 1964, South Africa placed a development contract with the French company, Thomson-Houston (later Thomson-CSF) for a mobile, all-weather, low-altitude surface-to-air missile system. Mounted on the top of the vehicle is a Thomson-CSF pulse Doppler radar with fixed-echo suppression which rotates at 60 rpm and has a maximum detection range of 18.5 km against low-level targets with speeds of between 35 and 440 m/s and altitude limits between zero and 4,500 m .

Nigerian Roland radar is newer and more powerful, more sophisticated, it has 5.5 km or 5,500 m altitude

http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/row/roland.htm

Sorry loser, South Africa bought a useless type of 1960s radar and Cuban boy soldiers captured your air defences to examine it in their laboratory....what a humiliation tongue tongue
