. Msauza:Nope, world bank report says hardworking Nigerians are all over the world: The World Bank issued a statement confirming that last year hard-working Nigerians living abroad sent home to their dear relatives and friends inside Nigeria a colossal sum – $21 billion, or N4.2 trillion. It’s nearly two-thirds of all the money transferred to Sub-Saharan Africa. http://www.naij.com/423001-world-bank-data-shows-amazing-sum-nigerians-sent-home-in-2014.html South African blacks don't travel out of their country because they know that there will be NO FOOD FOR LAZY SOWETO MAN in foreign land, only ANC government pays able bodied young men cash hand outs for refusing to work to earn daily bread. If Southie blacks go to America, na double trouble of hunger and starvation plus ice cold weather go kill dem finish for there, no labour-no sweat-no work means no money food-no heater in winter.....that is pure hunger and starvation plus freezing to death plus empty stomach for the born-to-be-lazy South Africans ![]() ![]() ![]() . |

Asuokaa: 150 years history of combat and Nigerian army has NEVER LOST any war ! Best combat record in the world ! Boko Haram is our latest victim ! jln115:You are not smart enough to see a move away from oil to manufacturing. |
jln115:He was posting his private opinion without any sources to prove it . |
Henry120:I told SiriusBlack to go relax back then, Nigerian army 150 years, never lost a war. Boko Haram was doomed to fail from beginning . |
Imagine Nigeria still growing GDP to lead Africa, despite war and level of power supply... http://www.punchng.com/business/business-economy/kia-to-assemble-25000-vehicles-annually-in-lagos/ . |
Patchesagain:Tactical planning . |
Msauza:NAF had it's first jets during the war, used mercenary pilots for 12 months while we trained Nigerian jet pilots who took over for the remaining 2 years of the war. That history is clearly posted on NAF official website, we trained pilots in war and took over ALL our jets in 12 months . |
Patchesagain:Inferiority complex is your problem, so you keep screaming "Military Researcher" like it tor.ments y.ou day and night ![]() Did you read what I wrote? Yes you did, because you even quoted it. I already explained why Japan does not export weapons, better explanation than yours, actually you failed to explain and hit the real point they way I clearly said it.... agaugust:Keep yelling "Military researcher" as we can all see it that the thing is a great tor.ment to you as if you are already in h.ades ![]() . |
Patchesagain:I said MiG-23 jet, are you so dumb? The MiG-21 you shot down are old versions flown by Cuba. Nigeria had in 1977, the latest MiG-21 'J' version with latest RP-22 radar and the latest K-13M missiles, then Nigerian pilots are far better than Cubans. South Africa does not have 500,000 troops as you keep claiming on this thread. Even giant Nigeria in Biafra war could not raise more than 250,000 troops. You keep telling lies about an imaginary SADF of half a million troops, you think your country is like China ? 10,000 Nigerian commandos landed on South African coast will lead to uprising by the millions of blacks in South Africa, we will give them ship loads of AK-47 and RPG, then you will see worse than Boko Haram inside South Africa, the apartheid government will be roasted at home, confusion, chaos, tears and blood on homesoil will bring down a government that 90% of the population hated so much. You don't know how difficult it is to fight war on homesoil because South Africa has never experienced that advanced level of combat before PHOTO : NNS OBUMA, 1970s NIGERIAN NAVY FRIGATE WITH SPECIAL ANTI-SUBMARINE CAPABILITIES .

Patchesagain:I am asking again if you understand English language, I said Nigeria landing 3rd marine commandos on South African coast WITH AIR COVER FROM CUBAN MIG-23 JETS.....then you ask me again about air cover, are you blind and need braille to read ? Bobo Odenson ![]() . |
Patchesagain:I think you have problems with English comprehension. I said the world is missing Japan in weapons manufacturing industry, that means arms exports around the world. Then you say Japan is powerful, what has that got to do with world market getting Japanese arms sales? You can show us how many countries purchase Japanese weapons and how many weapons those are. Fool ![]() . |
Patchesagain:The burden of proof is on the person claiming that German embassy issued a statement to show us the official press release. Anybody can claim anything without proof. Defenceweb should show us copy of the German embassy publication, or it was announced inside the embassy toilet ? . |
MikeCZAR:The Angolan war was not limited to 1977 alone, it lasted till early 1990s. As at 1977 Nigeria had 30 MiG-21 jets with 150 Atoll air to air missiles and long range air to ground rockets, 20 Il-28 jet bombers, over 200 artillery guns , Frigate NNS Obuma, and the most battle hardened army in Africa with 250,000 troops fresh from Biafra war battlefield. South Africa would have trembled if Nigeria replayed our 3rd Marine Commandos amphibious force landing 10,000 battle hardened elite troops on South African coast with air cover from Cuban MiG-23 jets and Nigerian Ilyushin - 28 Beagle jet bombers, Pretoria will pïss in it's pänts that day o ! . |
MikeCZAR:Weaker forces like Namibian , Mozambican, and ANC freedom fighters were challenging South Africa then and SADF was importing mercenaries from all over the world to survive. Those years were the days Nigerian navy had the most powerful warship in Africa and NAF had 100 jet fighter aircraft plus an army with 500 anti-aircraft missiles. South Africa would have been roasted alive . |
MikeCZAR:You dis man no kuku know anything, until Britico Submarine sink all ya navy, na dat time ya blind eyes go clear . |
saengine:@Saengine, you work with SANDF....true or false? |
. MikeCZAR:@Asuokaa has another two sources contained in his own source which are NOT blogs. Same way you Southies have been posting some sources claiming that Soviets fought in Angola. The guy has opened up a new issue and controversy on this topic and you cannot just dismiss his case, he has sources : The fact that as many as 5,000 Nigerian troops fought in Angola around 1976-77 may be the most widely-unknown fact in the annals of Nigeria’s very long history of foreign military operations. In the aftermath of January 1976 OAU summit where General Murtala Muhammed in his timeless “AFRICA HAS COME OF AGE” outing decisively swung the support of the OAU and Africa in favour of the MPLA regime, to the chagrin of their UNITA and FNLA competitors, the FMG backed up the new MPLA government with N13.5m(US$20m) and sent a squadron of MiG-17 jet fighters in support. It has now emerged that as many as 5,000 Nigerian troops were deployed to Angola and that they saw action in various theatres across the then war-blighted country. Writing in an article entitled “MOSCOW’S NEXT TARGET IN AFRICA;Paying the Price for Angola“, Robert Moss clearly indicates that …. QUOTE: “The Nigerians are said to be heavily involved in Angola. Western intelligence sources report that Nigerian troops were present at battalion strength when the MPLA and the Cubans pushed south last year. According to UNITA sources in Paris, the Nigerian strength has since been reinforced. UNITA sources have tapes of radio intercepts showing that at least 5,000 Nigerian troops have been deployed in Angola. They are operating as far south as Mocamedes, and are also based in Lobito, Luanda and the eastern diamond mining town of Henrique de Carvalho. UNITA claims to have intercepted radio communications in English (the common language between the Nigerians, the Cubans and the MPLA), in the Ibo, Hausa and Yoruba dialects, and in a form of pidgin Creole…..An intriguing sidelight is that UNITA also claims that a British shipping line played a key role in ferrying Nigerian troops and military supplies to Angola. Nigeria, rich in oil and boasting an army of some 210,000 men, can clearly afford to be more than rhetorical in its backing for the guerrilla movements of southern Africa.” END OF QUOTE Corroborating this report, the world-renowned photo-agency GETTY IMAGES in an archival photo dated 1 January 1977 actually bears a caption which read as follows; QUOTE: “Caption: 1977: An Angolan soldier crawls beneath barbed wire trenches during training. Dr Jonas Savimbi and his UNITA movement is doing well in its fight against the ruling MPLA (Movement For The Liberation Of Angola), and its Cuban allies. UNITA claims to control at least half of Angola. In addition to the Cuban forces, Western intelligence sources report that at least 5000 Nigerian troops are also deployed in Angola, on the side of the MPLA. (Photo by Keystone/Getty Images). Date created: 01 Jan 1977 “. END OF QUOTE http://www.rhodesia.nl/moss4.htm http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/3336214/Hulton-Archive . |
NaijaPikinGidi:This is the kiler of all killers ! Britain has always had a great navy as as former world power. The Royal navy was the force that defeated Argentina in Falklands war 1982. I also think the world of weapons manufacturing and technology is missing Japan due to their long absence from the arms race. Japan is a country that can build great weapons and equipment, but the terms of surrender in world war II and treaty signed with USA has ended Japan's ambition forever I think . |
Patchesagain:No air force has dared to challenge NAF, we fought border wars with Chad and Cameroon, yet they refused to fly their jets against us, so do we have to beg their air forces to take off from their airbases? NAF MiG-21 jets have invaded the airspaces of both neighbors and the enemy refused to challenge us air to air. SAAF used 1970s Mirage F1 to sh.oot down 1950s MiG-21 jet of Cuba, but once the Cuban 1970s MiG-23 jet showed face in the war, South African pilots ran away finally after Cuba sh.ot down several SAAF Mirage F1 jets. Means SAAF will abandon the air and park it's air superiority jets on the ground once an equal enemy appears in the air ![]() ![]() Born cowards, die cowards....South African air force ![]() ![]() . |
Patchesagain:Nope, you feel free to contact the German embassy and ask for copy of the press release to prove your claims.....you are the ones saying there is a German embassy report, so show us. Until then, both navies are suspect . |
jln115:Yes, because the South African press is now blaming the Germans. The initial reports from inside South Africa blamed South Africa, I did not write those news reports, your own countrymen did it at News24 media. So it's now a tie on both navies. |
Msauza:Show us a copy of the investigation report, or a statement directly from the German navy that it was at fault based on that report. That is the only honest evidence to prove the truth to the whole world . |
Msauza:Dude, this is why people don't believe whatever you Southies say, too many lies. I have posted over 20 times on this forum that Cuban MiG-23 jets shot down South African Mirage jets and your air force ran away completely from the air war, thus Cuba won ! Cuban boys disgraced SAAF in the air war . Cuban teenage pilots with zero war experience sh.ot down 5 South African aircraft including SAAF Mirage jets in air to air dogfights.... "On 27 September 1987 Cuban Major Albert Ley Rivas and Lieutenant Chao Gondin in MiG-23MLs engaged two Mirage F-1CZs of the SAAF's 3rd Squadron and fired three R-60 ("AA-8 Aphid" IR-homing) missiles. According to them, one F-1CZ exploded upon impact by an R-60 and crashed in enemy territory, and the other retired to Namibia after being struck by a second missile." http://www.laahs.com/content/12-The-Cuban-MiGs/view/5 . |
jln115:South Africa is known worldwide for telling lies at random. I don't care about sentiment of "How will Germany feel is=f we lied against them". The Germans don't care about your struggle for image. The news report is NOT from German embassy press release, it is news on Defenseweb, a private magazine claiming it was sourced from German embassy, yet we searched the whole internet and CANNOT find any such press report from German embassy. Proof needed, until then....BOTH NAVIES ARE SUSPECT FOR THAT SH.OOTING INCIDENT ! . |
patches689:Nope, you are the kid here. Actually you are the resident liar and deceiver here. I asked for MiG-23 but you posted MiG-21 jet, are they the same ? SAAF completely withdrew from the air to air engagements because Cuba was s.hooting down South African Mirage jets like insecticide kills houseflies using the MNiG-23 jets. South Africa LOST the air war and Cuba won ! Forever in history ! . |
Msauza:SAAF shot down MiG-21 NOT MiG-23 jets, go back and read my posts. Even @Patches tried to play that game of deception here but I have forced him to admit the truth. patches689:You see South Africa telling lies against Cuba, that's why I said I need proof from German navy because South Africa could just be telling lies against the Germans on the navy shooting/misfire issue. When a country has the habit of telling lies so much, outsiders will always doubt what you say unless you have 100% proof. You South Africans have built a permanent image of falsehood around yourselves. Crime does not pay. You lose all credibility . |
Msauza: Msauza:The South African SADF 32 battalion primarily consisted of black Angolan soldiers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs) led by whites of the “old” RSA Empire officers and NCOs, although there was also a number of officers from countries, especially in its early stages, such as: the United Kingdom, Rhodesia, Portugal, United States, and Italy. http://www.volkstaat.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=510:32nd-battalion-rsa-south-africa&catid=108:rsa-southern-african-empire&Itemid=173 . |
Patchesagain:NAF had about over 30 MiG jets in Biafra war, the enemy saw our new air power and withdrew their air force. There is NO RECORD of SAAF jet pilots sho.oting down any MiG-23 jet of Cuba in air to air combat, South Africa was d.emolished by Cuba in air to air combat ![]() Your photo below is that of a 'UFO' unidentified flying object from the bush war. We have proved this over and over again, lets stop dragging this forum backwards like kids . |
