patches689:Citation needed. Average self life of nuclear weapons is about 25 years, especially the out-dated old technology types South Africa got. They also need regular maintenance in those years during life time, poor maintenance means you can just b.low up your own country. Southie nuclear weapons have expired long time ago ! . |
MikeCZAR: Msauza:Nuclear weapons have shelf life and EXPIRY DATE....Fool ! "The nation's nuclear weapons were originally designed to last for 20 to 25 years. Each year, the directors of the Department of Energy's three nuclear weapons labs must certify that the stockpile weapons will perform as designed. If the performance of an older weapon becomes questionable, lab scientists must decide how to replace its aging parts in order to restore its peak performance. Aging weapon parts are a major topic for materials scientists are working to extend the lifetimes of stockpile weapons in two of Los Alamos' highest-priority programs. The goal of one of these programs is to extend the lifetime of a 25-year-old weapon system. These scientists must determine how the materials are changing so they can predict when a part will fail. Uranium alloys also change their crystal structures, or phases, over time, which also presents aging problems, over time, change the phase, thereby degrading a part's properties." http://www.lanl.gov/quarterly/q_w03/shelf_life.shtml South Africa's Nuclear weapons are NOT maintained for war and have all EXPIRED under UN ban/treaty Now send your junior sister to me in lieu of school fees payment , I will make her 'know me better' ![]() . |
jln115:SANDF has a 50,000 man army, regular troops, 95% of whom have ZERO war experience. Your reserve force is crap...plastic toy soldiers ! No full kit for SANDF, your army has NEVER deployed more than 3,000 troops into real war zone, and your training ops for 3,000 men showed poor kit, including many troops with missing gloves, missing helmets, missing knee pads, missing body armour....ya gat NO full kits in South African army ! FACT ! .
|
jln115:Dude stop spewing garbage, South Africa has NEVER put SANDF into war with 3,000 troops so stop comparing your army to the level of battle hardened and big war tested armies like America and Nigeria. See photo below American, British, and Australian troops in battle with jackets of colours different from their combat camo uniform, top flak jacket of different colour from their pants/trousers, and also body armour colours different from camo uniform colour, then troops with different uniforms in same teams. So stop saying rubbish about Nigerian army.....when South Africa goes to big wars like Nigeria, come back and argue.... .
|
jln115:SANDF has a small 50,000 man army with only one type of camo , so one sweater or jacket is easy. Try raise a large 130,000 man army like Nigeria and 3 different camos plus 3 different sweaters then multiply the money cost of production. The 4 guys in the photo are not fighting at that time, they were posing for leisure photos likely inside their base, they even removed their helmets, the way you have obviously removed your brain and I have to do your thinking for you . |
jln115:They could be mounted troops confined to that armored vehicle. Also as a half northern Nigerian I can confidently tell you that its seasonally very cold between 7 pm to 7 am in the region, if those guys are going to fight during that time, its mostly dark and green sweater is safe. They can remove it if daytime duty calls and they need to dismount from that APC . |

lezz:You mean Ivory Coast crisis? |
MikeCZAR:Do you read world news at all ? Nigeria was the first country in the world to land an army in Sudan Dafur, Nigerian soldiers stopped the Sudanese supporter of APC militia from continuous mass räpe and murder of black Sudanese girls and women . Other countries were watching the Arab on Black genocide and did NOTHING to stop it, until Nigeria forced the UN to mandate our gallant troops to fight in Sudan and we lost almost a platoon of troops in a night attack on our camp by supporter of APC militia during our peace enforcement mission. Where was South Africa when no country wanted to stop the genocide in Dafur? ECOWAS was led by Nigeria to deploy troops in Mali, but the new Malian military government refused Nigeria's offer of help, they chose France instead. We had to wait and observe. France then called in Nigerian army to deploy in recce and garrison role in Mali. Nigeria did it's part well in Mali and Sudan. South Africa refused to save the people of C.A.R from the hands of Seleka rebels, all because SANDF saw 15 coffins of parabats and refused to ever return to Bangui and save their helpless and weak African brothers and sisters suffering there. It's a dark history of betrayal that cannot be erased from South African military history. Cowards for ever !!! . |
jln115:Are you sure you are a white man? I know Soweto whites to be smarter in head than Soweto blacks/coloureds. We are arguing about camo, 3 men wearing desert camo in that your photo, you ignore the camo we are talking about and say 2 of them have green pull over sweaters on top of their desert camo. If they pull off their sweaters what is their real uniform? Camo, desert camo ! What kinda Dundee white guy are you? ![]() ![]() . |
jln115:Wait, are you using the special computer keyboard made for the blind? The keyboard without screen display monitor, it that what you have been using on Nairaland since last year? Be honest, tell us the truth . |
jln115:Did Jacob Zuma build it? Rëtärd ![]() . |
jln115:....and the new photo you posted 3 out of 4 soldiers wore desert camo ! The only point you proved is that I am correct, most of the 30,000 troops wear desert camo, the greens are far less in number. Thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() . |
lezz:The whites built every good thing in South Africa for their own pleasure, they thought they will rule forever, until Nigeria led the world to force them to hand over political power to the blacks. Then Mandela was too afraid to take the economic power from the super rich whites. Anyway, the rest is history, South Africa 2015 is now a nation dependent on candles for survival, ESKOM half dead, darkness envelopes South Africa every night so that the black witches there can do meeting without being seen. Candle nation, dark kingdom ![]() ![]() . |
jln115:Mumu went to find another photo . Next time think before you post comment. Odenson ![]() |
MikeCZAR:.....for ensuring that whites retain 100% control of South African economy forever. Openheimer family still robbing Zulus of their ancestors gold today ![]() ![]() . |
jln115:Your half blind eye did not see that the whole background behind them is green with huge green trees and perfectly matches their green uniform. I thought Southie white people are supposed to be more intelligent than Dundees like @Msauza ! . |
MikeCZAR:Citation needed |
MikeCZAR:I started the argument with clear emphasis on desert sand combat, does that look like navy combat terrain to you? Your warships sail on top of sand? Rëtärd ![]() ![]() . |
MikeCZAR:Argument was about SANDF army, he was showing us SANDF navy blue umiform....you can even wear your white sailor uniforms inside green jungle because it is SANDF....na catapult dem go take sniper your men inside bush....fool ! . |
MikeCZAR:All radioactive materials decay in half life rates, were enriched or not, it's law of nature and law of physics, it has not changed and never will. Olodo. Also, which aircraft will carry your half dead nuclear bomb? Gripen jet is NOT nuclear compatible ![]() ![]() . |
MikeCZAR:Grifo -7 was never designed for those heavy jets you mentioned, it's for light jet fighters you dummy! The modern air forces of today like Brazil have all rejected SAAF's type of 20 year old obsolete Doppler radar on Gripen, SAAB has changed to Phased Array radar for Gripen jet. South Africa is flying 20 years ago obsolete Gripen technology . |
Msauza:Go read physics again, radioactive materials have half life cycle that reduces their power over time. Bomb has electrical and mechanical parts that degenerate over years. Reason why many bombs fail to explode in real war after you drip them. South Africa does not maintain a combat nuclear arsenal due to UN ban treaty. Ordinary uranium cannot be carried by Gripen jet, and Gripen jet is NOT built to deliver nuclear weapons, Sweden is a non-nuclear state. @Msauza you have to personally carry your country's uranium in a bucket on your head to go dump it inside enemy territory ! . |
MikeCZAR:They were not in battle, they were in their secure base loading heavy ordnance into a tank in NE Nigeria with super hot temperature up to 50 degrees. Wear full kit in that heat while doing repetitive manual labour ? You will sweat into heatstroke and collapse! . |
Msauza:NATO European countries use Grifo -7 radar....you this Dundee ![]() . |
jln115:Big fool ![]() ![]() MRS is South African navy NOT army....fool ![]() ![]() Every navy in this world has some blue uniform color of the ocean, even Togo republic has it. Send your SAN navy men with dark blue uniforms into war in Sahara desert and all of them will return home in body bags ![]() ![]() . |
jln115:My Bible tells me in the book of proverbs to answer a fool according to his foolishness . |
jln115:Yes, NE war zone has desert units, but not up to 30,000 men. The others in different colors were brought in from other parts of Nigeria, reason why the most common camo is desert beige and less numbers of green from SW, SS, and SE Nigeria men drafted to go up north and boost numbers. Or you think that out of 37 states in Nigeria, 3 states in NE alone have always had permanent 30,000 combatant troops in peace time? To do that Nigeria will need a 370,000 man army of comabatants alone, add none ckmbatant we will need half a million man army !!! Why do I always have to do basic thinking on your behalf ? . |
lezz:South Africa lives on propaganda, the whole country is an over hyped bundle of criminally minded deception . |
Msauza:Expired nuclear bombs. Arsenal not maintained due to signature of United Nations nuclear non-proliferation treaty binding South Africa . |
Henry120:Oga Henry, thanks for the photo. I was telling those Soweto mumus, for a balanced army that has different types of camo uniforms, if you draw a force from different terrain regiments, you will see different types of uniforms on the same combat teams. Your photo also kïlls @Patches false claims that America has only one type of army uniform....hilarious....these Southies are getting their SANDF uniforms and poor kit torn apart on Nairaland today. They have been insulting Nigerian army kit and uniforms for many years, but today Nigerians come vex burst South Africa's over inflated bubble....(((((( BOOM )))))) . |
MikeCZAR:They actually did wear body armor grey color bullet proof vests all inside @Patches first photos that I copied and reposted here 3 hours ago. SANDF was in operation with ZERO body armor like rag tag Seleka rebels ![]() ![]() With all that has happened today, I am sure the issue of soldiers kit will become a topic every South African will begin to avoid....we have bursted your bubble, SANDF is an over hyped army with lots of incomplete kit in battle . |
