SA PMCs are no longer predominantly occupied by former SADF members. Many of them have since resigned or pursued other ventures. SA mercenaries as in 2015 is predominantly young and multiracial. SA mercenaries are not only white, they have as well recruited many young coloureds and blacks who come from SANDF, who mainly serve as guards.
