MEND Endorses Buhari, Expresses Lack Of Confidence In Jonathan

By Osa Okhomina
— Jan 7, 2015 | 10 Comments

The Niger Delta militia group, the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), yesterday endorsed the candidature of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Mohammadu Buhari, saying he is the right man to revamp the failing state of the nation.
I am a mixed tribe Nigerian with Northern + Southern blood.

My family is balanced half Muslim/Islamic faithfuls half Christians.

I don't care which tribe or religion rules Nigeria, if a Calabar tribes woman is a good leader, a righteous person who fears God, let her rule us.

However, I advice ALL Africans to stop electing presidents aged 70 year and above. Old men should be advisers not rulers, why can't Buhari advise Jonathan on how to solve Nigerias problems, must he take over power before he can help Nigeria his own country?

Africans should stop recycling past leaders to come back and rule again, we have one billion other Africans who deserve a first chance to rule and prove themselves to be good leaders.

Why dies Buhari want to rule again? He has had his chance and wasted it, he was there looking like a photographer when Babangida booted him out, so what is the guarantee that a man who cannot secure his throne can secure a whole nation?

North can recommned Ribadu, anti-corruption master.

East can recommend Chris Anyanwu, woman of national passion and courage.

South can recommend current Jonathan or Akpabio who did wonders in Akwa Ibom, or Oshiomole who fights for the poor masses when he led NLC workers union.

West can recommend Fashola to be vice president under any of the above presidential options, he did wonders in Lagos

Nigeria, a heroless nation desperate to have a share of our Madiba
We Nigerians don't idolize human beings or any mortal man, they live they die, where is Mandela today?

After all his labor on earth with all the praise of people, millions of blacks in South Africa still live wasted lives, poverty, HIV, murder, r.ape, insecurity, joblessness, dependence on government free food and housing.....Mandela did NOT inspire over 20 million black South Africans to rise up, seek good education, work hard and get paid wages for their sweat, live peacefully, value the life of their neighbor and not murder him or rob him, value the bodies of women in the nation and not r.ape them...why has Mandela not inspired these millions of people?

You Southies turn Mandela into a god and almost worship a mortal man, sorry we don't do that in Nigeria.

We have more than one hero but we don't idolize and worship mortal men. All we do is appreciate them, value them, thank them.

Zik of Africa fought for independence of many African nations .

Awolowo collected our lands, industry, and economy by force from the British and gave it to Nigerians.

Obasanjo led our fight against Apartheid in South Africa and took on British Prime Minister Thatcher head to head.

Obasanjo personally led Nigerian army to save Congo Kinshasa in Congo's war time.

Obasanjo ordered Nigerian army to stop genocide and mass r.ape of black people in Dafur Sudan.

Babangida sent Nigerian army to stop tribal genocide and mutilation/cutting off arms of living people in Liberia and Sierra Leone and end years of war.

The Europeans and Americans like Mandela and hype his name because he did not collect all the lands, minerals, cash, real estate, and economic resources from the South African whites and give it to blacks as Mugabe did, so Mandela is hero, Mugabe is bad man.

Did you see Asians hype Mandela? No. They saw nothing special in a man fighting to free his own people at home, NOT the people of another nation.

What has Mandela done for Africa as a whole?

Nothing !

Mandela is a local hero overhyped by the whites for not seeking revenge for the atrocities committed by whites on millions of blacks, your Bantu ancestors gold is still in the hands of white Oppenheimer family today in South Africa, they robbed your fathers, and are still robbing you their children today !

Mandela did NOT nationalize any British assets and give it to black entrepreneurs.

Awolowo as finance minister did it in Nigeria and Britain made him look villain for ever and made sure he never became Nigeria's president for changing British petroleum to African petroleum and seizing all other British assets by force, giving them to black Nigerians.

Hype and over-hype Mandela, idolize and worship him as much as you want, South Africa is a nation that has never seen a half-hero before in their apartheid wasted and bastardized life times, so when you people see one, you all go gaga !

Justifying cowardness.... Isreal, Germany and all the countries you counted don't have insurgents running sharia law in their territories.

You're on your own you cowards
Nigeria has about 90 million Muslims, 10 times all human beings in Israel and more than the human beings in the whole of Germany.

So who will have sharia problem, Nigeria or Israel ?

I said you always analyze military stuff like a boy scout or shoprite security gateman

Taliban is no radical boys club turned terrorist group. On the other hand BH is, they grew under your watch to a force capable of launching company sized attacks backed by APC(s) and motorbikes.

The fact that BH attacked. And destroyed your aircraft inside your country just shows how incompetent your force is.
South African nuclear reactor was blown up by ANC terrorists inside South Africa by one man who escaped on bicycle under the noses of all South African military and intelligence forces.

South African air force headquarters was blown up inside South Africa by terrorists in broad daylight.

What makes you better than Nigeria? We fight suicide bombers, you fight an enemy that is not even bold enough to kill himself.

Book Haram will wreck South Africa if they operate from among your citizens

And a cheap Gecko is no comparison to the vast ammounts of expensive IFV's, APCs, SPAAG's and tanks Boko Haram have captured from you
Nigerian army has shown superiority to the world, we have captured, destroyed and photographed all those Boko Haram armored vehicles including APC, Shilka SPAAG, T-55 tanks, and Shekaus personal pride Mowag APC.

SANDF cannot raise enough courage to do that even if you mix the courage of 10,000 Zulu men into one heart, your soldiers will still tremble when they hear the name Seleka.

SANDF did not deploy APC and tanks in Bangui. If you did, Seleka will be joy riding them by now....or your terrified and trembling soldiers will carry Olifant tanks on their heads while running like rabbits and deer chased by teenage Seleka hunters?

Fool grin grin

Your own source confirms DNA tests are done in Nigeria by Nigerian experts, just that it costs more than in South Africa and Britain :

"The cost of testing DNA samples overseas

The Lagos laboratory charges N70, 000 for a complete paternity DNA test (samples from a father and a child). A United Kingdom-based laboratory, with a branch office in Lagos charges $300 (N51, 000) for a simple paternity test per head. In South Africa, paternity test ranges between N30, 000 and N91, 000 depending on the collection lab visited in Nigeria."

Fool, it's just price difference.

Dude, why are you so wastfull of precious time?

Two roads went into bangui

Two recon teams were ambushed on the two roads

re-enforcements were sent to get them out

SANDF were pushed back to the base

final stage of the battle took place around the base

We did not have a battalion, we had 200 men.
SANDF was pushed back to base by Seleka, wow ! You said before that SANDF crushed Seleka till they rebels surrendered....

Now you admit SANDF started running away from the roads, ran and ran like rabbits back to base where SANDF finally raised white flag and begged for safe passage to airport getting French army protection.

One day, I know you will mistakenly say the truth.....SANDF was pushed back into retreat by Seleka who defeated you and ride your army Gecko vehicles to shows the world who won !

THE HIDDEN TRUTH MAY NEVER BE PUBLISHED :

"The Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, is determined to keep the truth surrounding the circumstances of the deaths of 15 South African soldiers in the Central African Republic (CAR) hidden from the public, said the Democratic Alliance’s (DA) David Maynier on Wednesday.

Maynier is calling for the establishment of an ad-hoc committee to investigate the circumstances leading to the deaths of the soldiers."

The lost cause here is the Nigerian military.

Boko haram progress to date:

1. Forced the nigerian military from COIN to conventional.
2. Grew from Koran thumbing jokers to fearsome killers.
3. Grew from jokers to holders of territory in nigeria.
4. Had the nigerian government spending billions to fund an internal war.
5. Had the nigerian military killing its own soldiers.
6. Had the nigerian political elite under immense pressure with questions from the public.
7. Planted chaos.
8. They EXIST still.
9. Captured bases.
10. Exposed the military's cowardice and lack of organisation.
11. Has already upset this years vote in the borno north.

... The list goes on and on.

You've failed to stop them, my man. You've failed.

COIN is now new? You are no longer "experts"?

Libya's insecurity has not affected Senegal for example. It has not affected The Gambia. It has not affected other countries in the same way that it has affected Nigeria. Please bra, the issue lies with your military, which has been utterly embarrassing.
Your list is nothing special, about Nigeria.

Those things you wrote are all normal incidents of war.

They have happened to Germany, America, Russia, Britain, Israel, Ethiopia, Egypt, Japan, China etc in battles, check their war history.

Also, those things happened in World War II, Vietnam war, Korean war, SADF-Cuba Bush war, Middle East war, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Angola, etc.

It was a nice list of nothing special, just normal war occurrence.

In war y.ou kill, y.ou die, you run, you return, you lose land, you capture land, you kick and get kicked. Nobody has monopoly of hitting the enemy and not being hit back by the enemy. Life is not sweet for you alone, the other side too will have their own sweet day.

Battles are many and with different results, what matters most is the end of the war, who wins, who loses.

Southies don't know what war is, they think @THIZA has shown them war with his many photos from Hollywood SA grin grin

An excerpt from wikipedia.

The Mandela -led ANC had been seeking to
help resolve the political crisis in Nigeria since
1993 following the annulment of the Nigerian
elections in June 1993. In June 1994 Nigeria's
military ruler, General Sani Abacha arrested
and sentenced for execution 40 political
opponents including former Nigerian head of
state Olusegun Obasanjo as well as Chief
Moshood Abiola . Mandela sent Archbishop
Desmond Tutu and then Deputy President
Thabo Mbeki on successive missions to
Nigeria to lobby for the release of Obasanjo,
Abiola and nine others.

We helped your arse out of military rule, so you should leak the shoes of every South African you meet. They are your masters.
Nigerians were ruling Nigerians, military or civilian government, Nigerians were ruling Nigerians with equal rights for all citizens and no racism or apartheid where a Zulu man CANNOT enter a bus in Pretoria because a white man is inside the same public bus.
