Henry120: We can just keep going round and round of these issues like a loop.

Fact is, we've provided comprehensive evidence of T-72's, T-84 OPLOT-M and a comprehensive Data link for our security services and the office of the presidency.

For South-Africa, you haven't provided convincing evidence to Data Links exist in your military.
[size=14pt]Oga Henry, Mokopa missiles DON'T exist in South African air force till today 2014....

These guys have been using photos to spread lies !!!

South African Air Force Has NO SINGLE Mokopa Anti-tank guided missile

They have been telling lies to us since 2012 on this forum

Patchesagain: Prove that is the weapons payload of the Hind

It simply says payload, and it is after-all a transport helicopter

And why the hell would we want to put bombs on an attack helicopter?

Yes, laser guided bombs makes the Mi-35 Hind superior to the Rooivalk ! Proves the Hind is better in attack role weapon options !

Rooivalk is an attack helicopter that CANNON attack with bombs ! grin grin

The 2,000kg payload you quoted for Rooivalk includes it's fuel load !

Weapons payload for the Rooivalk is only 1,500 kg !!!

Patchesagain: First, I know what a cluster bomb is

Second, you said they have an effective radius of 10km - prove it

Third, prove Nigeria has cluster bombs
Fool, dull maths brain, I said 10 km sq NOT 10 km....you don't know metric units of area measurements, 33% Soweto brain grin

I did...prove it all ....one cluster bomb will spread over a whole area of 3,000 houses, reason why they are very dangerous and Nigeria has them and uses them on Boko Haram today !

One Alpha jet will carry four, multiply by NAF total fleet of 50 jets !

Nigeria will sink ALL South African Valour Frigates in the Gulf Of Guinea if you come near our EEZ....Lion's den !

Patchesagain: Good, because the starstreak has a range of up to 7km
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starstreak_(missile)
Range is NOT Altitude dumbo grin

Starstreak altitude is 1km only, the Mi-35 dives to rocket your army with 4km range S-8 rockets at 4km altitude, your toy Startreak will be useless and watch your army die while being R.aped by NAF Hinds grin
.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 2:46pm On Sep 28, 2014
Patchesagain: That is the total payload

Not the weapons payload

slowpoke
Nope, it is the total weapons payload in attack mode.

If the smaller Rooivalk carries 2,000 kg with it's weaker engines, the Hind is good to carry the 2,400 kg with it's bigger engines.

Hinds carry Bombs, Rooivalk does not !

Mi-35M Hind E beats the Rooivalk in payload grin grin

MikeZA: Santa Fe was sunk because of its commander and it was an old sub.

Also keep in mind that the Santa Fe was surfaced not snorkeling.

They couldn't find the T209,which was hunting their vessels, attacking (unsuccessful though) even getting close to 5KM of their vessels without being detected.

This proves how deadly German diesel subs are, within when not in the best hands.

They slip into the operational conduct surveillance on the enemy undetected,at times follow fleets awaiting orders to engaged.

Your ATR-42 is simple maritime surveillance aircraft. You do you call a simple flying turkey "deadly"?

Nigeria has no MIL-STD data link.
Nope !

It proves to you that even in war situation, submarines have reason to surface, they are NOT perfect spirits from Hades.

South African navy SAS Manthatsi Type 209 submarine lost battery power during operation and failed, due to the very same wrong cable connection human incompetence that made Argentine navy San Luis Type 209 submarine FAIL to score any hit in the whole falklands war, because they had similar fools like South African navy sailor fools that connect wrong cable wires and k.ill electrical equipment on their own submarine !

The Argentine submarine fired FIRST TORPEDO that missed target because of this same South African brain incompetence grin

Same Argentine submarine fired SECOND TORPEDO that failed to launch because of this same South African brain incompetence grin grin

Argentine submarine's THIRD TORPEDO that fired on target was easily defeated by British anti-torpedo countermeasures that I have been shouting about, I warned that during South African navy war games with NATO, you 'sank' their ships in theory, you only targeted by sonar detection and lock on, it but you did NOT fire any torpedo, if you do so, the NATO ships anti-torpedo counter measures will defeat and waste ALL your torpedoes and the hidden location of your submarine will be known because it has fired it's weapons and the deadly NATO Anti-Submarine helicopters and Ship borne torpedoes will be unleashed to k.ill the South African submarine grin grin grin

The Argentine navy's T209 German made 'super' submarine could NOT sink any British warship throughout the Falklands war, ALL torpedoes fired were wasted by brains similar to those sailing South African submarines !

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARA_San_Luis_(S-32)

You see why I said South African navy submarines can travel for fun and make Hollywood photos only? You have ZERO technical ability to operate them in a war zone.

Meanwhile, all 3 South African submarines have crashed or damaged by wrong maintenance services, your navy CANNOT maintain and sustain a submarine 5,000 km far away from home in a war zone, not training or visiting voyage, I mean a war zone away from home where there is a hostile enemy that can attack them, read what South Africans say about their own submarines.....

'"17 August 2012

A few days ago we learnt that all three submarines of the South African Navy were no longer operational.
These three submarines were bought only a few years ago as part of the infamous 'arms deal' where the ANC liberated spent R70 BILLION to upgrade the country's military capabilities. The 3 subs cost around R8 Billion ($1billion) to buy from the Germans - who are probably laughing into their beer tankards as I type. The only problem is that, because of ANC quota systems, these subs would eventually land up in the hands of South African Blacks. (There's a joke in South Africa about how to split an atom. Give it to a Black man and tell him not to break it).

The SAS Manthatisi has been in dry dock since 2007 after a series of mishaps , including crashing into a quay wall and damaging her steering mechanism. Then a power cable was incorrectly plugged into her shore power-supply system, causing 'damage'. The vessel’s propulsion batteries, which cost R35-million, are currently being replaced (but I have a feeling that this isn't the only damage caused by some idiot not knowing his positive from negative).

The second sub, the SAS Charlotte Maxeke is also out of action due to “routine maintenance” - whatever that means. The navy doesn't want to fess up as to why she's still in dry dock if it's only 'routine' maintenance. This time of the day some African witch doctor has put a curse on it and all the little Black cadets are too scared to get on board. In any case.

Onto the third submarine - the SAS Queen Modjadji, named after a trival rain queen who lived in Limpopo province, was rammed into struck the ocean floor while conducting training exercises between Port Elizabeth and Durban last week. The Bleep-up accident happened three months after the Queen Modjadji welcomed a new commander, Commander Handsome Thamsanqa Matsane. The name says it all doesn't it? Again I digress. So, what does this have to do with the national carrier South African Airways not taking on anymore White cadets to train as pilots? Well, I'll leave you to work that one out. Needless to say, I won't be flying SAA ever again. Hey, Liberals out there! Yes, you wankers. How do you like dem New South African non-racist apples you helped pick? "

Centrifude: Mi-35 best attack heli in africa?
have they forgotten about Algeria's 'Superhind Mk-3' which was upgraded in S.A and is a direct competitor to Mi-35 and some consider it to be better than the Mi-35.

Not forgetting that ATE also produces the Superhind Mk-4 which is way better than the Mi-35. So if there was a shortage of attack helicopters in the S.A.A.F we'd buy more from local companies, which are way better than what N.A has.

First pic: Algerian Super-Hind-MK3

Second pic: ATE prototype. Of the Super-Hind-Mk4
Those are old Super-Hinds. Russia has built the latest....Mi-35M Hind E and that is what Nigeria has now, 12 units coming, 2 arrived already.

NAF Mi-35M Hind E is superior to both Super Hind and SAAF Rooivalk...proved today

Yesterday your South African guys got first shock that Mi-35M carries more weapon payload than your over-hyped Rooivalk turkey.

Now ALL South Africans are running away from Mi-35M Vs Rooivalk comparison challenge.....

I asked for list of weapon options each carries, NO South African had courage to answer tongue tongue tongue tongue

MikeZA: Prove it please!!!!!

we proved it to you that SA boats have radar.
We too proved to you that NAF got new 4th Generation world class jet fighters this month, read and collapse......

"The latest fighter jets in the world would start arriving the country this week. Informed top military sources disclosed to the Nigerian Tribune at the weekend that the fighter jets, up to a dozen in number, were purchased directly by the Nigerian Air Force. The source revealed that the jets are capable of bombing in the night."

MikeZA: Engine heat? From submarine? grin grin grin grin cheesy cheesy grin cheesy grin

Do you realise it is statements like this why other Nigerians never take your ideas seriously? You're such comedian.

You post before finding facts.
I have explained FLIR above, next one is TV Camera.

Look, unless your submarine is make of air and gas, only then will it escape the sea search high power TV camera of ATR-42 aircraft when your submarine is snorkeling. Nothing on earth escapes the eyes of a camera except spirits and demons.

Your submarine will be happily detected by NAF when you snorkel every 48 hours smiley smiley

.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 1:47am On Sep 28, 2014
MikeZA: Ok!!! Explain to us how the Valour class frigates manage to not release smoke?!?

Are they boats or vessels?

You should ask your self what happens to gases and heat released by modern diesel subs. You misinformed I'd..ot.
Dude, no engine can break the law of combustion in Physics. Valour frigate releases smoke above the water surface...

"The South African Valour class frigates are the major surface ships of the South African Navy. Their German manufacturer designates these warships as the MEKO A-200SAN class, member of its MEKO family of naval ships.[3] They were designed and built using principles of stealthy design, including the extensive use of "X-form" structure design in which right angles and vertical surfaces are avoided, and techniques to reduce the infrared signature, such as expelling pre-cooled exhaust gasses just above the waterline."

Now that is a stealth warship, yet it releases the heat and smoke above water surface instead of overhead funnel, ALL combustion engines have to obey the laws of physics.

Your Submarine is NOT even a stealth submarine, it will produce enough heat and smoke from combustion engines for ATR-42 to detect.

Submarines use battery power only fully submerged for 48 hours, after that it MUST surface partially to snorkel and switch to diesel engine or else battery runs dead and submarine sinks to sea bottom, ALL it's sailors-crew will die !

You do NOT have a magic Submarine that cannot die !
.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 1:30am On Sep 28, 2014
MikeZA: They had better navy than your navy today.

But couldn't find a single,crippled submarine.

Your ATR-42 is a simple maritime surveillance aircraft.
Britain is a world power, they had a better Navy at that time than South Africa has today.

The British helicopters found and sank Submarine Santa Fe in that same war. Reason why I said submarines get forced to surface many times and that is when they lose their cover and get k.illed by aircraft.

ATR-42 of Nigeria is a NATO standard ELINT capable MPA & ISR dual-role 330km radar range super deadly-highly sophisticated maritime aircraft South Africa does NOT have, not even in your wildest dreams, it's surveillance Radar/FLIR/TV/Data-links capability is equal to 1,000 South Africa Submarines combined in MPA role and ISR roles.

SAAF is 66 years behind NAF...
