Not to denigrate the fighting men of the NA. Henry and others know I think the Nigerian procurement process is abysmal and designed so the ogas at the top can chop, whilst the grunts on the ground can drop.
My question is this, why post pics from a few years back of Nigerian soldiers training in Eastern Europe with Belorussian ATGMs that the FG has not acquired?
1. Belarus training for Nigerian SF is not a few years back, it was year 2014-2015 training ended this very year 2015 and not your wrong info of imaginary 'many years back' as if it was done in stone age.

2. How do you prove Nigeria has not ordered the Skif ATGM from Belarus this 2015 year ? Are you Nigerian minister for defence or army chief?

3. Mind your carefully coined but easy to detect derogatory remarks. Your South African defence procurment office if full of bribery and corruption like Nigeria, go ask SAAB Gripen manufacturers how much bribe they paid South African defence procurment officers to force your govermment to buy Gripen jets. Go ask how your navy paid $300 million for each Valour frigate that has obsolete electronic combat suites, and 30 year old second hand main 76mm non-stealth gun picked from scrap yard then repainted and fixed on all your expensive stealth warships. Your people are corrupt too, ANC government is just covering them up because they share the loot.

4. You live is a glass house, so don't throw stones. Every African country has smelly shiiit.

War against Boko Haram largely won

Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed

NEWS AGENCY OF NIGERIA

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on Wednesday said the Nigerian military had met the December deadline to defeat the Boko Haram terrorists.

The News Agency of Nigeria reported that the minister said this during his first meeting with editorial heads of media houses in Lagos.

Mohammed said, “Today, I can report that the war against Boko Haram is largely won. I can confidently say this because just recently, I led a group of 33 journalists from both the local and international media to the hot bed of the insurgency, that is, Maiduguri, Kondugua, Kaoure and Bama.

“Today, I can report to you that the entire 70 plus kilometres stretch from Maiduguri to Bama and all the way to Banki, which leads to Cameroun and the Central African Republic, are in the hands of our gallant troops.”

He explained that during his visit to Borno, presence of the military could be felt ”every few metres along the road” and that at a point, he and the group felt they were just a kilometre to Sambisa forest.

“They (the military) have so degraded the capacity of Boko Haram that the terrorists can no longer hold on to any territory just as they can no longer carry out any spectacular attack,” he added.

Mohammed, however, said that though there were still cases of suicide bombings, it was pertinent to note that such was the nature if insurgency globally.

‘Unlike a war between two armies, an insurgency never ends with arms victory,” he said. “Even in countries like Colombia where insurgency was supposed to have ended decades ago, attacks like this still happen.”

He said that the insurgents had adopted a new style of attacking soft targets like motor parks, schools, entertainment centres, religious centres, killing innocent people mostly women and children.

He, therefore, urged Nigerians to support the military in the fight against terrorism in the country.

“It is our turn as civilians to give them our support; to realise that the war they are fighting is not their war alone, but our war, hence we must own the war,” he said.

The minister disclosed that a national security campaign had commenced to raise awareness among Nigerians about the war, the sacrifices of our troops, and how to stamp out the remnant of the war.

“Jingles are being played on national radio and television as part of the campaign in order to keep the media better informed about the war, so that they can also better inform Nigerians,’’ he said.

Mohammed also said that an ad-hoc committee, comprising media representatives as well as intelligence agencies, would be inaugurated to regularly be updated about the war in order to better inform the public.

Did your father tell you how nigerians sold each other inti slavery?
Shaka Zulu used his fellow Zulus as human sacrifice in a murder spree to mourn his mother's death. Did Napoleon use French men as human sacrifice for his mother's burial ceremony? Maybe if Shaka Zulu had used your own family for human sacrifice you would have spoken differently. Fool.

We will definitely try not to be soldiers dressed like this ugly f9vk.
That man plays the role of a spy very effectively, he gave FULL details of Boko Harams fighers numbers, equipment, and movements to the Nigerian army officers who interviewed him in that video, his Intel report let to an attack by Nigerian army to demolish Bokos in that town.

That is world class use of military intelligence, but unfortunately since SANDF has no such success story of counter attack, you fail to see how a temporary setback was turned into super victory....that man's spy report led to the untimely death of Boko Haram men in large numbers in that town.

Fool art thou !

When was the SADF ever defeated in its entire history?
When did SADF or SANDF ever win a war it fought (as it's own war not proxy) in it's entire history?

Every place South African military led ordinary peace keeping intervention is still in chaos, AU is now proposing to send troops to Burundi to stop civil war, C.A.R is about split into two by civil war.

Everything South African military touches magnetizes failure, your non-achivement in simple interventions is written all over African history that is why UN cannot trust your always failing army and asked a less fanciful Tanzanian army to command and control SANDF in Congo war....all your Southy military can do is internet photography self advertisements

Badger can shrug of 30mm sabout rounds fired from point blank. And effective range is not max range. The 105mm sabout we use as a max range of all most 30km. Try to hit or pen a target at that range. Same as the 12.7mm. Sure max range 6.8km but effective range is only 1.8km. The MK44 the most used 30x173mm auto canon effective rangebis only 3000m 1000m less. Both have the same max range.

Again open day at is 1 day and takes place in a small fiels so the spectators can see every thing. The area used for the actual training is not shown.

SA miltary doctrine in fighting a hostil army. Do not hold ground or take ground unless aboultly needed, use mobilty to draw the enemy in to kill zones and deafet them from maxim distance. This is not cowardly this is fighting to win. We dont fight fare. If we can we will bring a brigade to destoye a platoon. So yes we need long range fire power. The mechnized force off the SANDF is our primary force for drfrning SA. The motorized is the primary force for peace keeping and boader patrols. In the event of a invasion motorised protect key points and lined of comuncastion from your asymmetric threats, the reacstion groups and speciol forces operate behind the lines. Mech force fight on thr front lines.

We did not send a mech infatry commpany to CAR now did we.
Until SANDF rights 20,000 homeland based citizen and resident religious terrorists armed with 23mm anti-aircraft guns, RPGs, long range morters, 105mm self propelled artillery, Shilka AAA, mortars, etc and mixed with innocent civilians on your streets, spread across 100 towns in South Africa and hiding camps in Kruger Park bush, with 1,000 ready to die suicide bömbers in the cities and shopping malls, you won't realize your military has ZERO experience in fighting a 21st century modern day asymmetric war on homesoil
