Pfffftt!! As well equipped as SANDF?? hahah please Bro!!!

And no he was referring to your whole army

every conventional army in the world!! guess the SANDF is the exclusion on the rule since we are specialists at COIN warfare!!

NO!! how can you be better than the country that trained you bro?? South Africa invented guerrilla warfare we are experts in the field, only one country in Africa has the necessary credentials to be ranked as one of the best in COIN warfare and that's South Africa mate!
When did Eben Barlow meet and assess the whole 100,000 troops of Nigerian army that are scattered all over the country, Eben met them all in 3 months inside one city of Maiduguri or is he a flying spirit?

Israeli NIRTAL trained ten times more troops than STTEP ......the video shows Israeli COIN training is world class.

SANDF is no master of COIN, the past glory of 1980s apartheid era whiteman owned SADF is gone, gone like your GDP lead in Africa is gone, gone like your low corruption ranking is gone, gone like your uninterrupted electricity and water supply of the old apartheid P.W. Botha era is gone, Eben Barlow too is gone, he no longer works for South Africa, he is now your enemy that your ANC government threatened with warrant of arrest in January.

Bwhahaahaha cheesycheesy

SANDF has ZERO skills in COIN warfare today 2015, the glory of the past is gone for ever. SANDF is being defeated in their own homeland bush by Rhino poachers on army owned Land, and Operation Corona shows SANDF totally incapable of stopping armed smugglers and armed assassins criss crossing in and out of South Africa 24 hours everyday non-stop.....in your own fatherland bush.....the enemy is your master at home, your COIN skills. = ZERO tonguetongue

Dude stop with this nonsense

You contradict yourself in your own post and your entire argument is based on a press-display comprising 3 hours and ~400 men of a 3 week 5000 man exercise

Leave the anti-rsa rhetoric at the door please

Thanks
There is NO anti-rsa rhetoric in my comment, I am speaking for Africa as a continent, or is AU = rsa ?

I wont discuss this matter with you because you will rather see the whole of Africa sink into failure just to sheild your own rsa national pride.

Like you have no pan-African spirit in you at all, your thought is all about your own country;s pride even if that pride will make the rest of Africa to perish, you don't care one bit about this continent.

Thanks bro.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust:

He also said you are poorly trained and poorly equipped!!
We are as well equipped as SANDF if not better. Every African army is poorly equipped by international standards.

Every conventional army in the whole world has poor training in counter insurgency until they acquire it.

He was referring to the 120 men he trained who had no previous COIN training.

That excludes the 5,000 NA troops trained for COIN in Russia and Pakistan, the 1,000 trained by Israeli PMC, the thousands trained by USA at Flintlock, Britain and China also trained new COIN forces for Nigeria.

As at now Nigeria has the best trained COIN army regiments in Africa and one of the best in the world.... 100 years ahead of SANDF

To discuss the fine and explain himself. If Buhari as a president was worth his salt, he wouldn't be summoning himself to South Africa like a naughty boy to discuss a fine that his country has issued. Your country is embarrassing. Issue fine, extend deadline for payment and then go explain yourself to Zuma....in Nkandla! grin
Prove to us that Buhari summoned himself and not invited by Zuma. Prove he is going to explain fine.

Last time I checked, your MTN went on it's knees to beg for payment deadline extension and to be done by instalments.

"Reuters reported that two sources had informed it that the cell phone operator had written a letter to Nigerian authorities asking for leniency.

MTN was fined $5.2 billion (N1.04 trillion) for not deactivating unregistered SIM cards from its network."

This is a practical proof on why we are calling on the African Union to rise above the AMANI 2015 Exercise kind of old fashioned army training.

See the Malian army fail by using those same AMANI tactics.....line up IFV and start shooting at the enemy from a 'safe' distance.

The Malian force could not dislodge a few teenage rebel boys for many hours, the Malians kept hiding behind their IFV and refused to employ urban warfare tactics. The French army came in to show them how to fight a modern day urban war and the battle was over in minutes, the French troops dismounted from their IFV and advanced on foot to engage the enemy at close range in hand to hand combat.

That is how AU forces can deploy and win battles against El-Shabab, Boko Haram, AQIM, Ansar Deen, etc. Calling again on AU to rise above the 1970s Bush War style battlefield formation and demand the next AMANI exercise host to provide simulated sub-urban training environment like Chad did for FLINTLOCK 2015 and the USA was happy with them.

Even worse! You had to fork out money you don't have (being a poor country and all) for the services of a private South African company. How useless must your military be? Nigerian taxpayers fork out money to sustain your army. And the army is not good enough. More money is spent to buy another military service from another country grin grin
South African military is paying millions of dollars to Cuba, tiny Cuban Island for basic mechanics, basic pilot trainers, LOL.... SANDF pays a foreign military for basic services because your army and air force are not good enough.....tax payers' money from a shrinking and declining South African economy is being forked out to foreigners on a tiny island nation.

MTN is forking out $ 5 Billion punishment fine into Nigeria's pocket while South African stock exchange suffers the loss of value on MTN shares.

SANDF Rooivalk attack helicopters have launched multiple attacks on Islamic-linked rebel forces in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Ugandan separatist Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) have been behind a spate of massacres at schools‚ hospitals and villages in the region.South African National Defence Force troops are in the area as part of a United Nations-backed peacekeeping mission to restore stability to the eastern DRC.

The attacks by the SANDF late yesterday were carried out despite the DRC government trying to forbid the UN's actions.Reports indicate that the helicopters caused considerable damage to several of the rebels' bases‚ although exact losses of ADF personnel are unknown.

South Africa Knocks Nigeria off its Perch as
“Most Corrupt” African Country
South Africa is now believed to be the most
corrupt country on the continent, according
to a new survey.
By Alexis Haden
The latest report by Transparency
International sees South Africa top the list
of countries where citizens believe the
problem has got worse in the last year.
Over 80% of South Africans who were
interviewed thought that corruption had
increased over the last year. Ghana and
Nigeria are some of the other worst-
affected nations.
79% of South Africans surveyed also believe
that not enough is being done to curb
corruption. On the continent‚ the majority of
Africans (58%) say that corruption has
increased over the past year.
If there is one shining light to the survey
it’s that 56% of South Africans surveyed
believe that ordinary people can make a
difference in the fight against corruption.
The survey found that 25% of respondents
in SA believe that the most effective way for
ordinary citizens to combat corruption is by
reporting their experiences‚ followed by a
further 22% who identified the refusal to pay
bribes as an effective means to fight
corruption.
With 43‚143 respondents, across 28
countries surveyed, people feel the police,
business executives, government officials
and the courts were all perceived as
corrupt, with 75 million people estimated to
have paid a bribe in the past year, AFP
reports.
Between JZ pouring money into his Nkandla
digs, Prasa’s dodgy trainsand countless of
other scandals, South Africans aren’t
exactly stoked about the state of affairs.
“People are outraged, they see this huge
spending as part of government corruption,”
David Lewis, director of Corruption Watch, a
local anti-graft organisation, told AFP.
“Corruption creates and increases poverty
and exclusion,” Transparency International
head Jose Ugaz said in a statement.
