FighterPilot:1400 is 25 year old technology, that's is what SAN took bank loan to buy, obsolescent submarine |
EVarn: 5,000 war heroes 5,000 black Napoleons of Africa 5,000 battle hardened troops 5,000 combat tested soldiers 5,000 naija ninjas who killed the enemy and never got killed 5,000 soldiers that can take down the entire South African army of untested rookies with zero combat experience. .

FighterPilot:Nope South Africa has old model Type 209 series 1400 submarine, the world has moved ahead of your obsolescent sub, now it's series 1500 like that of Egypt . |
FighterPilot:Yes pirates are dancing in jail imprisoned by Nigeria in gulf of guinea. http://www.punchng.com/city-news-feature/oil-theft-navy-arrests-30-ships-in-nine-months/ Meanwhile, Rhino poachers have added Makossa to their brand of music played while raiding Kruger Park South Africa . |
DictatorZAR:Nope, CASE OPENED....it's all a big lie ! The ship was attacked by pirates in Ghana, sources from that country confirmed that pirates are now afraid of Nigerian navy and it is rare for piracy attacks to take place inside Nigerian waters, they happen in the weaker nations and then they sail into Nigeria and get caught. "Ghanaian officials maintain that the pirates had actually hijacked the MT MARIAM near Warri, Nigeria, in on 11 January 2015. Upon seizing the vessel, the 8 assailants then syphoned 1,500 metric tomes of crude oil before taking the vessel westward into Togo. However, the vessel soon began to drift into Ghanaian territorial waters, forcing the GNS BLIKA to deploy to the scene. By 17 January 2015, the Ghanaian navy rescued the ship, arrested the pirates and freed the MT MARIAM’s 9 crew members. Although additional reports have yet to be released, the information revealed thus far has raised speculation as to where the incident actually took place. Nigerian pirates, for example, rarely attack a vessel within Nigerian waters first, before taking it westward into Togo and Ghana. On the contrary, most attacks occur in reverse: many Nigerian assailants first traverse the Gulf of Guinea westward, with the aim of hijacking vessels near the Ghanaian / Togolese border, before bringing the vessel back east into Niger Delta-area locations , such as Warri. Concurrently, it is conceivable that the assailants may have, upon hijacking the MT MARIAM, aimed to use the tanker as a pirate mothership from which further attacks could be launched, including the attack on the OCEAN SPLENDOR." http://www.marsecreview.com/2015/01/piracy-in-ghana/ Next time, do your research well. NOW CASE CLOSED ![]() . |
FighterPilot:Nope, Egyptian navy Type 209 submarine is customized Egyptian selected technology, including American missiles added to torpedoes. Egypt is buying the new Type 209 series 1500, South Africa sails the old Type 209 series 1400....your own sub is 25 year old technology ![]() . |
DictatorZAR:South African Type 209 submarine is 25 year old technology, you purchased an old model, and new versions are now in the market and Egypt is buying the new . |
Only God knows how many South African arms export sales contracts were done with influence of bribery and corruption, paying political and military leaders of the customer country to buy weapons and vehicles made in South Africa. "Denel Land Systems was contracted to supply weapon systems for the Indian Armed Forces, including anti-materiel rifles and self-propelled howitzers. However, following allegations that it had paid kickbacks to secure a deal for anti-materiel rifles, Denel was black-listed by the government. Subsequently, the Ordnance Factory Tiruchirappalli (OFT), in association with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), began developing an indigenous antimaterial rifle called Vidhwansak." South Africa's ranking on world corruption table should be adjusted upwards, these bribery cases are just too many. |
FighterPilot:Just because you say so? Comedian. |
FighterPilot:Wikipedia is NOT a reliable source. |
DictatorZAR:It's hard to torpedo a Shaldag, it almost flies on the sea surface and it's twice faster than your torpedo. |
FighterPilot:Diving sea depth of SAN submarine is only 250 m. Fact ! |
FighterPilot:South African submarines have NO STEALTH paint or coating, stop telling lies ! |
DictatorZAR:Not scared, our ships are ensuring that your submarine have no target to attack, instead we will turn the tide against you and begin to hunt your submarine, hunter becomes the hunted.....so scared and afraid your submarine has now been moved by you to 200 nmi away from Nigeria with a 15 nmi short legged range torpedo ![]() Ships will be busy sailing in and out of your fake naval blockade, at 200 nmi away, ships will sail from Nigeria along west african coastline just 5 nmi from our coast, while your submarine is running out of diesel in the waters of Sao Tome and Principe a different nation that also owns the area.....Portuguese navy will be called in by Sao Tome to sink your submarine for violating their waters. Southie fools don't even know Sao Tome is there, they want to blockade 200 nmi distance and fight the whole world with battery powered submarine ![]() |
FighterPilot:Its proved with sources that radar will detect submarine snorkeling. Our stealth combat catamaran boats have echo sounders for detecting underwater objects. Your country has never seen a combat catamaran before so you don't know what it can do. |
DictatorZAR:Prove it, prove how you know a classified secret system in detail. DictatorZAR:"Speaking at the inaugural lecture of officers’ long course organised by the Nigerian Naval Ship (NNS) QUORRA, former Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command, Rear Admiral Francis Akpan (rtd.) , said the system would assist in monitoring, tracking and collating maritime activities to protect national interest. He also said the Falcon Eye system would enable the force monitor the movement of vessels within the country’s territorial waters and the Gulf of Guinea and enable them also to track such vessels and ultimately arrest them." http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/navy-acquires-israeli-surveillance-system-to-tackle-oil-theft/220493/ Falcon Eye covers the whole Nigerian EEZ and extends into Gulf of Guinea. South African navy will never get such sophistication, your South African navy is 100 years behind Nigerian navy, you lack a composite ocean monitoring and passive defense system combining air, sea, and coastal land equipment. Submarines and frigates alone do not make a modern, effective, balanced and complete navy .
|
lionel4power:The guy thinks coastal water is 500 m deep, he did not know why Nigerian navy has many flat bottom boats and sea surface skimming IPVs. Southies don't know what sea warfare is in reality, all they know is to show photos of frigates and submarines, how it all works in sea battle is beyond their low calibre understanding . |
lionel4power:Killing them finally ! . |
FighterPilot:Maximum tested depth of your sub is 250 m. May be capable of 300 m safely. You want to go try 500 m and get crushed by ocean pressure? It will squeeze all of your sailors and their submarine into flat bread sandwiches. |
Patchesagain:You have only ONE satellite and it CANNOT give you real time vessel information, when your satellite orbits away from Nigerian longitudes, you will be seeing desert sands in Chad ![]() |
iblawi:The guy na mumu Southie, he thinks only of going to war zone, he did not think about how to come out, he will die there ![]() |
FighterPilot:Tell us how ? Fraudster. |
iblawi:Radars we have on our stealth combat catamaran high speed gun boats and, more radars + FLIR on out high speed Shaldag armed ocean interceptors, super speed boats that run twice faster than a torpedo and almost fly in the air above the ocean as we sail skimming the surface. Their Submarine will be hunted down and sunk, the hunter will become the hunted. |
Patchesagain:Your mathematics is bad because you have a Cape Colony South African low grade brain. Your sub needs 200 nmi to get into our coastline.....your torpedoes have about 12 nmi range, you need to get close to our coast, you cannot fire short range torpedo from far distance. Then the sub needs another 200 nmi to get out of our coastline, meaning it must NOT stay, hunt, or patrol on Nigerian coast for even one minute, or else you will be forced to fully snorkel inside our EEZ ! A snorkeling submarine is not a needle in a haystack, it is even visible to naked eyes from the sea and air ! Problem is, we Nigerians have rendered a $ 300 million South African submarine useless and powerless, bush meat pursuing the hunter ![]() .
|
iblawi:The Southies watch American movies of nuclear power engine submarines, they think the American sub is the same as their own battery powered sea toy ![]() |
Patchesagain:It does not matter, Nigerian navy already has TOTAL 24 HOUR COVERAGE of our entire 300,000 km2 EEZ zone and even beyond into Gulf of Guinea, with our new sophisticated FALCON EYE ocean surveillance systems. Nigeria is a sea power, you underestimate us, we are shocking you. South Africa has NEVER seen any thing like our Falcon Eye in your national history ! |
Patchesagain:.....because of... 1. Need to always stay submerged to avoid massive air and sea surveillance by Nigeria, especially the new Nigerian navy sophisticated Falcon Eye electronic sensors that will detect even a kettle of tea floating on Nigerian EEZ waters even beyond the Gulf of Guinea. 2. Limited battery power. 3. Can only last initial 50 hours to sail in, and remaining 50 hours to sail out of Nigerian EEZ without any hour available to patrol or harass any ship which are already out of reach and safe in the harbour. Your submarine will be seen on it's way snorkeling from your country and will be seen every time it snorkels in Nigerian waters ! Beware of Nigerian Navy's new Israeli made Falcon Eye 24 hour detection systems, only we have it in Africa ! NN is unique and world class . |
FighterPilot:Botswana.....their rangers save 500 South African exiled Rhinos that were shipped from Kruger Park |
FighterPilot:Since you chose to quote wikipedia, I will reply with wikipedia. "Submarine surfacing to obtain navigational fixes is precluded by pervasive anti-submarine warfare detection systems such as radar and satellite surveillance. Antenna masts and antenna-equipped periscopes can be raised to obtain navigational signals but in areas of heavy surveillance, only for a few seconds or minutes; current radar technology can detect even a slender periscope while submarine shadows may be plainly visible from the air." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Submarine_navigation SAN submarine's tiny periscope or snorkel will be detected by NAF and NN radars with ease. Your submarine will die premature death in Nigerian waters. PROVED AND CASE CLOSED . |
patches689:Ok, and at what range can your submarine radar detect a high flying aircraft? |
patches689:Dive and Die, your unlucky submarine will dive back underwater and die there ! It was snorkeling for the purpose of desperately needed engine battery power recharge, buy now we have forced it to stop snorkeling and the survival battery will die, then your submarine will crash to sea bottom and die there crushed ! Your submarine needs to choose how it prefers to die, by our aircraft attack or by empty battery causing a crash to the sea bed. Hunter becomes the hunted, bushmeat dey catch the hunter, pursuer now pursued, your submarine will run away back home and report .... "FAILED : MISSION IMPOSSIBLE IN NIGERIAN HOSTILE WATERS." ![]() |
patches689:ISIS still has Iraqi oil industry, weapons, land territory, tax revenue, law institutions, and people. |
