FOR ME, the above post means standing in the middle. If you see the way currentprice and few others drop their tip, you will know where they stand.
This is not to discredit you. Most times when you mention a stock, you put one leg "north" and the other "south".
For commentary though, you are very good at it.
👏

One leg north
One leg south
What a lovely spread

I have been buying DS since last year after they published their q2 result though I was disappointment with q3 so I am not looking for endorsement. One of the attractions then was the low price of raw sugar.
I looked at price of sugar in the international market yesterday and I was not too comfortable with what I saw hence my calling on oracle to say something about the chart on sugar . Between the time I checked last year and yesterday, price of raw sugar has gone up by about 50%.
Going by my experience over the years with DS, an increase in the international price of sugar always affect the company performance as there will be a time lag for them to pass the increments to the consumers.
When one decides to have a substantial part of his portfolio in a particular company, I believe one should be well informed about the company and everything that can affect its performance going forward.

But sugar has been bullish for three years now

Talk to Agba. ...who knows! maybe he can help with the gut or sentiment analysis part. wink cheesy grin

Based on fundamentals though, UBA should have no business trading below N19.37 (last FP in view)
But then again, it's not an investment advice.

I can not come and kill myself for nothing.
Let me just enjoy what's left of my small minimum wage for now. wink cheesy grin

According to Isaac Newton after losing £20,000 in the stock market about 300 years ago.

Again and again, the stock market will always humble people who think they are smart

No wonder Peter Lynch said all the math you need to succeed in the stock market, you must have learnt them in 9th grade or JS3 Maths

Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger have similar views concerning higher level Maths and stock market success

Keeping it simple makes you more money

If the market was as predictable as you imply, some of us with over twenty years experience will be zillionaires!

The rivalry between Zenith and GTco was First vs Union before, funny how time has changed.

I remember that First versus Union. I was a Union FC supporter until that calabar man sank my boat grin

That's the good or bad thing about the market. So many unforseen variables

Oga, leave those people abeg, a friend was telling me how he intends growing 20m in zenith bank to 300m In next 12yrs not waiting for dividend just buy at 19 sell at 26 take the money to MMF then reinvest again when The Price is lower then finally settle down for dividend of 20m yearly na that time my closed eyes open that I needed to buckle up oo. Since he opened my eyes I have been thinking on how massive wealth can be made by being smart

And you the guy thinks it will keep falling after dividend Lol
Be prepared to wait for a couple of years sometimes before getting a reversal. Some people will soon look for zenith and GTCo @40 Lol

Return On Equity of about 18%, I will discount it to 10%, book value of N27 which I will discount to N15.

I think it is very cheap at its current price.

I will give it a fair value of N15 based on my guestimate

Access raising tier one capital through financial instruments. One needs to watch how this plays out. Is it a good approach or bad one ? Guess it depends on many factors. And principally, that should be how fast its customers deposit rise and how the additional deposits from create value. I think if it's African expansion program falters this additional tier 1 capital instruments will lead to a faster erosion of shareholder funds. Just like one trading with margin and the trades go bad.

A very good one from mansard. That is a big statement from them for those of us who doubted their ability to maintain a positive trajectory in improving their dividend payment.
By the way, where is the result?

Abi I no understand grammar again ni. Abeg which one is 36k per N2 ordinary share? Has it changed from 50kobo ordinary share?

On INTERBREW 2022 YE financial print.

Poor report... no doubt.

But just a glance at the coys SCF and BS and am already spurred with CONFIDENCE to buy more!
As I've repeatedly stated here in times past; this is even the kind of report I love to work with!
I know what is playing out in the company... and by extension, the sector.

PLS anyone who desires to exit can immediately do that, so the price can drop a bit more for value hunters. wink cheesy shocked
...and I say this with all boldness.
Good a thing; the price is still within our entry call range, having dropped by only 10% from N5. (called for a buy @ N5 and below)
Quite frankly, I will be most glad to accumulate more should price drop.
...will consider it a great privilege!

Again, PLS SELL NOW if you so desire... and am saying this with all sincerity.
There are a few other coys you can buy. Everyone must not align with INTERNATIONAL BREWERIES. wink grin cool

I will still sell this coy and book well above triple digit % return in the mid term. You can take that to the bank. (stated my target back then)

It is well indeed.
Regards
