Let me add my two cents

You get invited for an interview and you don't know a thing or two about the organization you wish to work

You should be able to defend what you wrote on your CV otherwise I question your certificate.

I recall, there was an opening for a receptionist and this young lady excellent results but doesn't know the job description she did in her last job, okay fair ent not everyone is good with theory.

I asked her to turn the desktop on the table next to her, she was looking, okay desktop is old school, I brought out my laptop and told her to turn it on, she couldn't. I turned it on and asked her to type something on Ms Word as she claimed she has an excellent computer skills.

Some job seekers need to do better.

I manage a POS stand, I plan to start a
new business but I am yet to gather enough finance for that.
And I am having this pressure from people to marry-in form of advice(which I find intruding anyways), but my financial status is strong enough to marry but not to raise a family.
Now, the Nigerian law school has given our first set of Law graduates the admission, although the programme is divided into the "Preliminary" and bar part II , each of this programme cost 300,000 Let me keep 150,000 for feeding and textbooks. The total budget for law school becomes 750,000 Naira. This estimate is very economical.
Studying in Nigerian Law School is full time and quite elitist, if I put all available fund into law school I will be starting afresh after graduation, considering the job market and remuneration for young lawyers.

Fellow Nairalanders, including the lawyers in the house, please advise me on if and when I should do each of the 3 items I will list below, especially vis-a-vis the other items:
1. Attending law school
2. Starting a new business
3.Getting married

The role requires the instructor to use the instructional training manuals that Aptech will provide to train the upcoming programmers. You will not be building software or have to prepare the manuals. You are not likely to have more than 4 hours of teaching time per day and you can spend the rest of your day freelancing. Teaching is a way to give back and develop oneself. I hope you notice that we offer accommodation as part of the package.

As a programmer myself, programming is not a joke but the will to impact others is essential to becoming an instructor.

Back then when I was still in school, there was this particular place in our schools library where boys do gather at night to use the free Wi-Fi because our hostels were not equipped with WI-FI. One night like That as usual, I went to use the WI-FI and everywhere was a lil-bit crowded as usual. While I was busy enjoying the free WiFi, my lappy just disconnected from the network for no reason and refused to connect again ohh. I was really surprised and had to ask around if any other person was experiencing the same problem. To my greatest surprise, almost all man lappy don disconnect after trying to connect again with no luck, me I decided to go to my hotel to go and sleep and come back the next night. On getting to my hotel,my roommates asked me why I came back earlier than usual. I explained my ordeal to them. It was then I found out that it was one yeye CS guy that was responsible. According to them, anytime he wants to use the WI-FI, he goes to hide in an isolated area in the library, then he uses his hacking abracadabra to disconnect everybody else from the network and when he's done with what he wants, he enables others to connect back. OMO as I hear am I weak , such wickedness.. I even heard the guy normally terrorises our schools cyber-cafe...

Mine was on the contrary. Na my papa scatter the free kpekus wey I don arrange for long.

There's this lady whose mum attend our prayer gathering (Asalatu). Initially, it was only the mum alone that used to attend. I sha noticed that the mum likes me so much, she'll be smiling while talking to me. Asking me about school, studies and life after school. Long story cut short, she brought her daughter (tall, fair, beautiful & well endowed) to the group and specifically introduced us.

We became so close that I started getting the son in-law vibe from the mum. The mum now jokingly told my dad that she'd be expecting him to pay her a visit soon so as to formalize the union. Na there kasala take burst. My dad told her that it will be better for her if her daughter is unmarried than to betroth her to me. That she probably don't know my nickname 'Shevchenko'. I no dey miss one on one. And that by the time I destroyed her daughter's womb, las las, I no go still marry her. The woman was beyond shocked.

As if that was not enough, my dad made a public sermon also talking about how humans can never be perfect. He said for example, as intelligent and well-behaved as I am, I no dey use eye see women (especially a fair & beautiful one). The man burn my cable publicly. Na so the relationship crashed before it even began. It took me a while to forgive him for that action because I been don program that chick for long term chopping. Aside that, every other lady in that our group started avoiding me like plague. It was even rumoured that if they smile at me, they will be hooked.


Fast forward to 5 years ago when I introduced my then fiancé to him. This man started again. He asked her if she truly knows what she's getting into. That I just look responsible for face but I no dey use eye see anything under skirt. After asking her which university she graduated from, my dad told her he was sure that I'd have other girlfriends in that same institution. Fear catch my fiancé. But luckily, I had told her everything about my past and how I've repented. Na there that relationship too for hit rock.


Some years later, I asked him why he was deliberately sabotaging me. He said he wants the ladies to know what they are getting into. Since him self born female pikin, he wouldn't open his eyes and let me destroy someone daughter's future.

So, those of una wey una parents dey try arrange for una, you people are very lucky. Me, after I don suffer arrange chick for myself, na my papa go scatter everything.
