A video of a BMW i8 crashing into a wall has surfaced on social media. In the video, the black and white car can be seen slowly reversing on a driveway.

As the driver slowly reverses, the car all of a sudden spirals out of control towards a wall and crashes. Towards the end of the video, a woman wearing a black dress comes out of the car and starts walking barefoot.

This 3 year old baby was left alone in the house by her mum who rushed out to buy something from the market.

She got out of the room and climbed the stair case of an uncompleted building in the compound and got to the unsecured balcony and her dress got trapped by this rod. She was strangled to death by her dress.

Please instead of leaving your child alone at home, why not take her to your neighbour's place?

May her soul rest in peace.

(CNN)- The flying motorbike is back in Dubai

A year after California-based startup Hoversurf showcased its hoverbike at tech expo GITEX in the white and green livery of the Dubai Police, the company has returned with a new model and evidence its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle might be, well, taking off.

Making good on a deal signed in 2017, Hoversurf has now gifted Dubai Police its first serial production unit of the S3 2019 Hoverbike and has begun training officers to fly it.

Brigadier Khalid Nasser Alrazooqi, general director of Dubai Police's artificial intelligence department, described the eVTOL vehicle as a first responder unit used to access hard to reach areas. He said he aims to have hoverbikes in action by 2020.

"Currently we have two crews already training (to pilot the hoverbike) and we're increasing the number," he told CNN. Hoversurf chief operating officer Joseph Segura-Conn explained that ideal candidates will be able to ride a motorcycle and have drone operating experiences. Video of one officer learning to pilot the hoverbike appeared online last month.

Segura-Conn said Dubai Police have exclusive rights to order as many units as they want: "They're going to let us know in the next month or two if they'd like any more ... If they would like 30 or 40, we'll make it happen for them."

If you're not a member of the force and have a spare $150,000, the hoverbike could still be yours. Orders are open to civilians, but Segura-Conn cautions that buyers are screened to ensure they can handle the new tech.

In the US, the hoverbike has met Federal Aviation Administration guidelines which mean you do not need a pilot's license to fly the vehicle.

"I thank God for his protection over me and mine. I know my job comes with its risk. Working as an Actor and Politician requires my regular movement.

Today, Just at the U turn coming from CMD Magodo around 7UP heading towards Ojota, my vehicle was accosted by men in a Toyota Corolla. They crossed my vehicle at the U Turn. 2 men alighted from the vehicle bearing AK47s. They tried to force the doors open. They kept hitting my car with the butt of their gun. In the process, they broke the door handle and left dents on different parts of my vehicle.

All these happened in full view of other vehicles and other individuals passing by. In the short time this happened, no one came to help. The guys were obviously not Policemen, they didn’t wear any Insigna of the force. They wore plain clothes and had extra guts to perform this act during the day at about 12 noon.


Their assumption will have been that I was in the vehicle but my driver was the only one enroute to my location. With swiftness, he was able to maneuver and speed off. I thank God for keeping him. We are all still shocked at this but grateful to God that no life was lost in the process. �#FemiAdebayo.'

The Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria, VON, and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Enugu State, Osita Okechukwu, has told the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to humbly resign instead of ‘running’ abroad.

The former Governor of Edo State is currently locking horns with some leaders and Governors of the party who believe he was involved in some shoddy deals during the party primaries.

The VON DG said this at a media briefing at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja yesterday, where he also stated that he had earlier advised Oshiomhole to resign honourably but he refused.

The VON DG said, “Penultimate week, I joined the league of APC moral leaders, faithful and men of good conscience to call on Comrade Adams Oshiohmole, to honourably resign forthwith as the chairmanship of our great party.

“In his usual narcissistic disposition, he refused.

“As the ‘Oshiohmole Must Go’ wave raged, the Department of State Services got wind of it.


“They interrogated him and I patiently waited to read from Comrade Oshiomhole and his spin doctors over his tango with the DSS, in the social or mainstream media, neither rebuttal nor denial came from them.

“I, therefore, once again stridently call on Comrade Oshiomhole to instead of pontification, grandstanding and running away from the country, do the needful by honourably resigning the chairmanship of our great party.”

The United Bank for Africa(UBA) has presented the cobranded ID card to Usmanu Dan Fodio University, Sokoto(UDUS).

The presentation was made on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at the conference held at Vice-chancellor's complex, which featured the presence of the university management, UBA representatives, Students' Union representatives, representatives of Students' associations, campus journalists and the university management

The initiative by the UBA group is to introduce a cobranded ID card that will serve as both a prepaid VISA card and also a student's ID card at the same time.

The digital head, of UBA,Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara branch, Mr Austin Obibi while delivering the speech noted that,
"UBA provides a prepaid payment card which is set up without the need for you to have a bank account with UBA. A prepaid card is an electronic wallet in which you put funds into and spend.

This is both the UBA and Usmanu Dan Fodio University coming together to brand a product that has an international standard.
The card has a unique 'chip and pin' technology which secures the card. This reduces the potential for fraud.

In cases of card misplacement, the card can be blocked or better still, the cash in the card can be transferred from the misplaced card to another. This can be done via the website: www.myubaafricard.com.

This website offers the direct control of the card, it has records of all card transactions and this reduces the cost of cash management.

The co-branded card will have an identification number at the bottom right of the card. This serves as an account number to enable the transfer of funds into the card


The cobranded card has transaction limit of N300,000 and N50,000 depending on the KYC(depending on the transaction of users either low or high KYC).

The validity of the card is 3 years,but students whose their course of study exceeds the stipulated year or students that have spill-over will have their I.D cards renewed" she said

He also noted that the card would serve as “multiple identification purposes where staff members and students would no longer have to carry multiple cards such as Library identification cards, clinic identification cards, club identification cards and hostel cards.”

However, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor(DVC) Academic, Prof. A.G. Yahya clarified that the university management is yet to adopt the cobranded ID card and that the university management would negotiate with the representatives of the Bank and reach a conclusion that will favour the students

The UBA group who are the pioneers of NIMC National e-ID card(prepaid) hopes to bring the same partnership into the university system.

The regional head, SKZ branch, Mrs Aisha Na'Allah while Speaking on the partnership with higher institutions explained that, success had been recorded in the previous partnerships with other institutions and that the adoption of the cobranded ID card would elevate the university to the digital world, she said:

"We are here to present an opportunity for the university to be part of the digital drive that is happening across the world. It is common knowledge that the digital arena is taking the space across the world, and anybody who would belong to this world in this era must be digitally serviced.

" For UBA education is a foremost consideration. You are a highly intellectual institution, so we have a lot on the stake for educational institutions.

The Dean, Student Affairs, Professor Aminu Mode while giving the closing remark , noted some of the previous immense contributions of the UBA Bank to the university and pointed out that the introduction of the new cobranded ID card would digitalise the university system.

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani-Bello on Tuesday presented a budget proposal of N159.5 for 2019 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.
Tagged “Budget of Sustenance and Continuity “, the appropriation bill is an increment of 5.43 percent of the outgoing 2018 budget.

According to the Governor, “the 2019 budget estimate will focus mainly on the completion of all on-going projects that have direct bearing on the lives of Nigerlites in addition to some critical new ones”.
Outlining the key components of the proposed 2019 budget, the Governor disclosed that the capital expenditure would amount to N96, 205,435,383.00 (60.31 percent) while the recurrent expenditure would amount to N63, 324,292,994.00 (29.69 percent)

The Governor who said that his administration would not relent in ensuring the development of the state even in the course of the economic hardship said that it would engage in different developmental projects across all the sectors in the state.

“Indeed we are aware of the people’s demands from us and we are doing our best in that respect. However, we are prepared to do more in order to improve the living standard of the people.”

He then called for continuous cooperation and understanding of the legislative arm of the government as they engage in vigorous healthy collaboration in setting agenda for the development of the state and its people.

Governor Abubakar Sani -Bello also called on the people of the state to ensure that they acquire their permanent voter’s card to enable them exercise their franchise during the the forthcoming 2019 general elections, adding that they should embrace peaceful coexistence at all times which he said the state is known for.

The Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Ahmed Marafa Guni assured Governor Sani-Bello that the House would ensure urgent attention is given to the appropriation bill and has commended the Governor for his promptness in presenting the budget to the House.

He then assured the Governor that the legislative arm of the state would continue to work with the executive in order to bring about meaningful development in the state.

The 19th National Sports Festival (NSF) fixed for December 6 -16, 2018 in Abuja, would hold notwithstanding the recent deadly clash between the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) and the Nigerian Army in the nation’s capital.

Chairman of the Main Organising Committee (MOC) and Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Olusade Adesola gave the assurance while briefing newsmen on the preparation for the national sporting fiesta in his office, yesterday.

Adesola said the sports festival which had suffered several postponements since 2012 due to the failure of the initial host state, Cross River to host the festival six years after it was granted the hosting rights, would hold next month in Abuja as every necessary arrangement for a hitch-free event is being perfected.

No fewer than 17,623 participants, comprising 11, 673 athletes, 2,801 coaches, 2,166 team officials and 983 state delegates have registered to participate in 37 sporting events from December 6 – 16 in the Federal Capital Territory.

He said the protest by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) was not a breach of security in the FCT and the 19th National Sports Festival tagged: Aso Unity Games 2018, would provide an opportunity for the country to reclaim the festival and return it to the original objective of breeding and developing talents into international stardom.


“The necessary arrangements have been put in place for the games and 95 percent ready to go. So, 11, 673 athletes, 2,801 coaches, 2,166 team officials and 983 state delegates from the 36 States and FCT have registered for the games and the registration portal has been closed.

“All hands are on desk to sensitize Nigerians for the games and what happened last week in Abuja between security operatives and Islamic Movement in Nigeria was not a breach of security and cannot be a threat to the hosting sports festival in Abuja. But notwithstanding, we are collaborating with all the security agencies in the country to ensure a hitch free event.”

“What is important to us is to use this 19th Festival, as an opportunity to discover and unleash for this country a new generation of athletes.”
