All this ebuehi or aina to be dropped na bullshit
Both of them deserve world Cup and it will really bruise their ego if they don't make it but echiejile has nothing to lose plus has playing horribly and hardly sees game time in his club despite playing second division
you're absolutely right. the only one standing in the way of this two is the Elder himself-Elderson Echiejile.

@ MetalJigsaw, Victor Moses is a player that efficiently use both feet.
But his strength lies in is right foot.
With that foot, you're assure of more shot accuracy and power.

I have always said this. Victor is best utilized when he plays on the left flank. It gives him room to cut in and been that he is more of an inverted strikerand his right foot is full of power...

I hope this answers your curiosity.

Lol.. I don't attach too much meaning to these stuffs.
I also dreamt that we lost 5nil. It was so bad that Uzoho was taking our corner kicks.

When I woke up I just smiled.
I can't even stop laughing.

It's because the super eagles are winning and playing good football,if naija begin loose now but God forbid,na from this thread you go Begin see people wey get 10 mouth......Up super eagles
then it'll have to be from the newbies.

Some of the finest SEs fans you can find across the world are here on this thread. They've been here supporting the team even during the dark times, pre-Rohr's era(3-4yrs ago) when we failed to qualify for two consecutive AFCON showpiece.

I know thesegallant supporters and they know themselves. They've sworn to themselves to keep supporting the team irrespective of results. They criticise poor performances but out of LOVE for the national teams.

These men and women are the true definition of Sports Fans.

How time flies.

Long gone were the days Nigerians are pissed off because of International breaks. All they care about was club football.

Very few then long and savour for the break so they can see their players sing the national anthem with pride.

But today, the story has changed. The SEs of Nigeria are now the fans favourite. All thanks to Amaju pinnick led administration. All thanks to coach Rohr and his technical crew. All thanks to the players who have found pride in putting on the GWG and finally All thanks to the fans/supporters who have stood with the team through the thick and thin periods.

God Bless The Super Eagles!
God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

How does one keep up with pace of this thread?

Coming online to find so many pages to read is heartbreaking and at the same time mouth watering as one is left anxious to know what has happened within the hours one is away.

FINALLY!

Joel after seeing all the paparazzi going on in camp and the new kits, e go be like- are you sure this SEs? The kain vibe the young lads get no be here. Idowu and Ebuehi(the presumed introvert don join bad gang) are testament to that.

On the other hand make una all leave V. Moses alone. I'm sure he'll grow into the team and become one of the leaders in the nearest future(remember Mikel).

Laughing @ Rohr's interview.

That baba called Rohr is a psychologist. He knows how to massage opponents ego.

He did it to the Desert Foxes, same against the Indomie Lions now it's Poland's turn. Lewandowski might not even have his dream game come friday.

Hmmm... Match day don de knack. So many possible formations and line-ups don de fly around.

I don't have anything against it. They're fantasies that can become realities.

As much as I'll like us to try new formation, preferably in the first half, I will love to see us try the 4-3-3 formation. But this time around,
V. Moses - Ighalo - S. Moses
as the front men(One Inverted winger-Victor and one good crosser-Simon). I don't agree with those who want to play Alex Iwobi as a wide man in this kind of formation. The boy is always ineffective playing out wide...

Mikel to miss Poland friendly?

Has the Super Eagles evolve enough to survive with out John Obi Mikel? There is only one way to find answer to this question. Playing without Mikel. A game against Poland should be a perfect TEST for the young eagles.

They can as well put on the 'I don't care attitude'. who will question them? No one. Social Media is a tool and they're using it positively. Don't forget former SEs players like Osaze have used it but negatively-it did affected them and their team.

They Know how to connect with the fans.

while not interested in long story...the likes of European teams(LA liga, bundesliga) that concede** 6,7s week in and out have incompetent coaches too yes?
*smiles* yes we do have such scenarios pan out every weeks across the world.

But, if you check my post, I used phrases like 'football knowledge', 'must you concede much' just to buttress my point.

Last year or so, we saw one of football greatest comebacks. Barcelona overturning a huge deficit, scoring 6 past PSG at home to ensure their progress to the next stage of CL. Do you know who was mocked/blamed? It was PSG's coach. Do you know why? Because he wasn't smart enough.

Everyone knows that it's always tough playing against the north africans most especially at their home. A draw against them is even seen as a good result.

A smart coach who is going away with an advantage will set up his team in a more defensive and compact way to minimize any form of damage the north africans can cause.

What are we even saying sef. 6-0 is too much. No wonder their coach said 'he does not know MFM FC' when interviewed.

this kind of result only makes one question the football knowledge of our local coaches.

If you must concede, must you concede this much? Poor tactics/strategy.

No wonder most European clubs will always want npfl players to go on trial before signing them

this is very bad.

This morning, Someone emphatically said MFM are out and will chop 5 unreplied goals. He said those MC Algeirs are weaked at home. They lost a match away only to return to spank the same side 9 goals to nothing at their base.

I hope MFM's case won't worst reach this.

After watching another abysmal performance from Belgian No 1 today, I know there is hope for my dear nation.

If T. Coutoise is the first choice goal keeper of a star studded belgian side, then we will not be the only one going to the world cup with average GKs.

thank you for this question... We got different types of quality... World class, average, bang average, shhht etc.... The stats tells the story... Type of team, team contribution, trophies.. There are so many parameters used to measure quality.... Ndidi for me is just outside the bracket of top quality dm.... He is not there yet.... When he improves he's attacking qualities then we can talk.... You can't call him world class based on he's tackling stats alone.... I Pray he gets there
baba, how is stats generated? Or how do players churn out stats?
Let me help. Let me summarize in two words 'GAME TIME'.

You only know a player has quality when he plays. You can and should never assume that a player lacks quality without seeing him play.

Most Nigerian players are never given enough time to show what they've got compare to their counterparts. Yet, you want us to judge them with the same yardstick. That's unfair.

Give both parties same opportunity and see who'll excel.

On Ndidi, I didn't say he is World class. The guy's performance as put him at the top.
