By God's grace we shall celebrate n we shall jubilate cos d SFE will humble d Germans today. A 4-0 win we be enough. But seriously european teams have always find t hard playing against Africa contigent in grade tournaments like this. I pray that we convert our chances. |

samtol4: The game will be won from the bench (technical crew). If our coach make correct selection and good formation victory is sure but am scare of his inability to make tactical changes which is the bane of Nigerian coaches . i hope our boys realise earlier that we are not playing against 11players but against 11players+1Ref. I thinking Garba Sticking to the same players s to wear out d germans n wit d compactness of d midfield de(germans) might run out of Ideas. But early changes should be made. I trust this boys-de've always deliver and de will as usual. Fly Super Flying Eagles |

Got this to say after d SF match. Nigeria national teams need to be more technical most especially d SE N SF. When t comes to world stage football, Our coaches must work on SETPIECES(taking n defending) cos setpieces wins matches. No solution is provided yet for D same prob dat affected d SE @BRAZIL-I can't even remember when last d SE scored from a deadball. That is y We need deadball specialist in our teams i mean ppl like Jay Jay, Pirlo, Messi etc. Though our Super Flying Eagles are good at dead balls(MOHAMED especially) defending dem too is as important as taking t. Wishing all Our teams d best. Weldone ladies! |

TheSuperNerd: Just what I was pondering about Sir... Well said. I BELIEVE THAT TO LINE UP A SUPER TECHNICALLY BALANCED SIDE (BALANCED IN ATTACK AS WELL AS DEFENCE) IS THE KEY AGAINST THE GERMANS AND FOR THE REST OF THE COMPETITION. I see Sir manu garba starting 'at least' 1 of the ffwg players against Germany: Iheanacho, Yahaya, Moses Simon, Ifeanyi Matthew and Nwakali. ONE THING 4 SURE: SUCCESS WONT START. AWONIYI IS THE MAN! POSSIBLE LINE UP VS GERMANY... ENAHOLO NDIDI BELLO MUSA MUSTAPHA IDOWU NWAKALI/IFEANYI SOKARI/MATTHEW
IHEANACHO SAVIOR G. AWONIYI
subs: DEPENDS ON GAME TACTICS AND ANTE-MATCH CIRCUMSTANCES. gr8 line up Sir. As long as our midfield is compact d germans won't be able to play wide. I hope d team train more on how to defend setpieces cos d germans(all their teams) have high conversion rate when t comes to setpiece. |

EagleScribes: That is my issue with Nigerian coaches. We are still far behind our European and South American counterparts when it comes to technical, tactical and match reading abilities. Manu Garba stands out among Nigerian coaches though.
Just imagine a highly technically astute coach having the luxury of such attacking prowess. Good enough, each player has a unique individual ability which will be useful per time Garba will always get d nod ahead of other indigenous coaches. Though some will say coaching n managing grade teams are easier n less tasking. Yes, no doubt about that. But, Garba has proved to us that he is a rear genius. Having followed d team since u-17, I realised that dis man has inculcated discipline in d boys n thats the reason de call him father. what a respect which even d senior national team gaffer can't command. That's y I believe that there is more to Kelechi's benching which is unknown to we fans-I believe he is right wit t. And to those saying he is only futuring dose who haven't got any professional deal in Europe-i disagree wit u Manu has selected d best legs for this tournament n all players in dis team made it on merit-so whoever is selected to start a match has only suited to d plan... What is required of us is to pray n support this man cos He is still one of d best thing to happen to our football in recent time. I believe in this team. FLY SUPER FLYING EAGLES |

Congrats to d real fans n to miss safari your man(AWO) has definitely don justice to why he is been started ahead of his compatriots... I'm really happy we won. Our boys are back to d winning ways. Now no team will stop them-i just pity d Germans that all their goals don end be that probably de might just be console wit d Highest Goal scorer award. We wil be ready for them. But seriously this team is d best Nigeria team for years-IMAGINE ALMOST 1000 fans following d game on NL early sunday morning. Abeg Fly SUPER FLYING EAGLES. TheGoodJoe: Different coaches have different philosophy. You can not use Enrique's philosophy to judge Coach Manu Garba and his crew.
Coach Manu Garba likes his team playing as a unit. Like in the game between Brazil and Nigeria, the commentator pointed out that there was a time we were playing with one defender.
When we are not with the ball, Coach Manu Garba wants the same thing in reverse. He wants all the players defending as a unit. If the attackers fail to do this, the philosophy of the team is defeated and weak points created. IF I may ask- Sir, are you d one bearing 'thegoodjoehunt3'? |

chaberry: I'm not saying we should be afraid of them, neither am i saying that we should run from them, lol, i'm just saying that it wik be wiser to avoid them at this stage of the competition. I can remember our 2011 set of the u.20 that have Mohammed Musa in their rank, they promise so much, that makes many Nigerians bullish and thinking that cup has already been won, the hopes, expectation and dreams were left tathered after they were eliminated by France. What i'm trying to draw out in this is that our expectation is to high, maybe we're thinking that winning u.17 wil automatically make you a champion at the u.20level.. I LOVE THIS TEAM SO MUCH BUT MY YEARS OF XPERIENCE HAVE TAUGHT ME HOW TO WATCH FOOTBALL WITHOUT HAVING HEARTHBREAK(I THINK I EARN THAT FROM YRS OF SUPPORTING ARSENAL) I now seeeee... ARSENAL. |
