RobinHez: 2. Franz Reichelt
Franz Reichelt was an Austrian-born French inventor who made a living as a tailor but spent his free time working on a flying parachute suit designed to be worn by airplane pilots. Airplanes were a relatively new invention when Reichelt was working on his design, having only been flown for the first time in Kitty Hawk in 1903, and the mechanics of how a pilot would escape a damaged plane were still being worked out. Reichelt's first tests were performed using dummies and were successful enough for him to test the suit himself, which he did by jumping off the lower level of the Eiffel Tower. The 187-foot fall onto frozen ground killed him instantly. https://media.mnn.com/assets/images/2013/07/parachute_0.jpg.638x0_q80_crop-smart.jpg i love his mustache |

But seriously, Nigeria girls are funny de remain girls all their life-wife amist them are rear! When u meet those ones you think should be k-you find out that they're OVERAMBITIOUS... Always wanting to finish all their education career(if possible get a professorship title) always turning down proposal while still young and attractive- thinking that d best suitor will come for them after achieving their dreams probably between d ages of 35-40yrs so as to Lord over the man(husband). We qualified for it when we defeated zambia in lusaka with a 2-1 scoreline after a goalless draw in Abuja. The tournament winner won't qualifier for the olympics. The olympics team will be the 4 best team from this year's 2015 CAF U23 championship which Senegal will host. We have to beat Congo to qualify for the caf cup. I became confused when it came to my notice that we will be playing Congo for olympic qualifier. The Flying Eagles domestic quartet invited by coach Samson Siasia to the Under-23 side have beat the Friday deadline to report to camp. Siasia had earlier in the week issued the players with the Friday deadline to report to camp. First to hit camp was winger Godwin Saviour who joined the camp on Thursday. On Friday, striker Taiwo Awoniyi joined his teammates looking trim and ready for the job at hand. He was followed by long-time captain and defender Musa Mohammed and goalkeeper Dele Alampasu. With the quartet in camp the team is expected to swing into full preparation for the first fixture clash against Congo Brazzaville. The 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics qualifying match fixture will be held on Sunday, July 19, at the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt. Siasia has however released the elite players to their clubs for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 14 ties on Sunday. The players are expected to rejoin their teammates on Monday to commence intense preparations for the Olympics clash against the Central African side. http://mobi.supersport.com/football/nigeria/news/150626/Eagles_beat_Siasias_deadline |

LeeCodeman: This is one of the worst lies I have ever heard a coach spew. Everything about his statement reads HATE. How can you say that if he is such a big guy, why is he not playing for the first team. Very stupid thing to say. There is NOBODY in the Super Eagles' team that would command a shirt in the Citizens' team.
The wicked coaches should park well jor. what's a big name? I think every football team either in a 5-aside game or 11-aside will always have an outstanding player(s)-THE BIG MAN in which d team, no matter how clueless about d game they maybe will have to rely on to do d magic. Even Keshi's clueless team will have to rely on Enyeama to do d magic in other to avert a defeat and mostly these kind of players are morale booster n can inspire their teams to victory-NACHO was ours at d u-17n joined by Simon at this yrs u-20. Even d old spain got Iniesta n xavi, italy got pirlo, chelsea got hazard, stoke sef got Charlie Adams talkless of burkinafaso's bounce. I rest my case. Mr. Ugbade n Manu abeg pack well-accept d responsibility of the team's failure and lets move on. |

I wouldn't be surprised if he deploys Awoniyi upfront, flanked by Simon on the left and Iheanacho on the right, and probably plays Yahaya as an attacking Midfielder (instead of Sokari) in their next Olympic Qualifying Match. do you really think Nacho n Simon will be available for that match? |

lardy96: Flying Eagles coach explains Iheanacho bench role at U20 W/Cup - Following the criticism that trailed his team selections after Nigeria’s ouster from the FIFA U20 World Cup, Nigeria U20 coach Manu Garba has said he only selected the players he thought would give him the required results. Speaking exclusively to News24, the 49-year old explained why he shunned Kelechi Iheanacho and Isaac Success after they first game, saying he selected his team based on what he saw in trainings. “I selected the players based on what they did in training,” he said, “I selected all the players on merit. “When Success (Isaac) and Kelechi (Iheanacho) joined the team, the form they showed and the kind of goals they scored meant they couldn’t be ignored for that first game against Brazil. “But Kelechi (Iheanacho) wasn’t doing enough defensively and maybe it had to do with the injury he suffered before he joined us. “We decided to adopt the pattern we used at the Africa Youth Championship in our second game against North Korea because we needed to attack and defend as a team, which we didn’t do against Brazil.” Asked why he never recalled Iheanacho to starting eleven and why he made certain changes to the team, Manu said it was his team and he knew the players better, but blamed the weather for the loss to Germany. “Everybody in Nigeria is a coach but it was my team and I knew the players better. We had to make sure we qualified from the group and we used the players we thought would give us that. “But in that game against Germany, the weather was 3 degrees and the players couldn’t cope,” he said. laughing-justifying himself. Y not use those who are a bit familiar to d temp-by d way d we trained at germany-So whats d diff. Abeg tell us d truth-we're not fools |

safarigirl: send who to where? The issue isn't that they're not tactically sound, the issue is EGO and ain't no 'refresher course' even in Jupiter that can cure EGO. Don't waste money on those people, you can send them and it won't change nada. Nobody will be sent anywhere, did the Malian and Senegalese U20 coaches go abroad? You know the players you have and their capabilities, you use them. Nobody on the Malian and Senegalese teams have half of Isaac or KC's talent, Yahaya and Moses are better midfielders than those guys, but Manu let those boys rot on the bench because of PRIDE and EGO. but for the sake of football development in our nation |

TheGoodJoe: The Coach of Cape Verde spent some months with Mourinho, improving his coaching skills. Zidane spent some months in Germany with Guardiola, developing his skills.
I wonder why the NFF can not organize such arrangements for our talented coaches. In case that will not horn their match fixing skills. no wonder cape verd a nation whose population is a little above 500,000 were springing suprises in football, almost qualifying for d world cup ahead of Cameroun, defeating portugal(someone will say d portugese didn't future their best legs). Our coaches needs to learn some basic things apart outside football. Things like human relationship, man management etc. Our coaches have a strain relationship wit d players n how do u expect d boys to give their best wen d dressing room, camp's atmosphere is poor-coach n player fighting. They keep shouting discipline(keshi) wen de demselves are not disciplined. They've forgotten that these men are professionals who earn big n most of them can pay d coach's salary n knowing fully well that the boys are cliqs(friends n fight for each other remembering Sia1's failure AFCON12 fighting mikel which led to taiwo, osaze, enyeama's rift)-one f d solution is for them to learn under these successful managers! |

Tomtoxic: right from when I started playing football manager I knew I was better than a lot of naija coaches they just throw d boys into the field to go and fight for a win without tactics and when we lose dem go say players did not play to instruction NFF should either follow prof omo osagie article and employ a foreign coach or organise a football manager competition for young dudes like me make we leave all dis abolo old men alone *Smiling* i think I'll be a better manager f t a football manager game. Our football coaches are just there as figure head-de just occupy d position. They don't have any input. I do imagine if any of these gr8 coaches(ferguson, mou, wen, guardi, etc) have dis same materials(talents) our coaches have at their disposal-bet u, Nothing can stop them from producing results. But seriously, PRIDE n inability to manage success is d main problem of our coaches. They allow little success to get into their heads(Keshi-AFCON13, Manu-U20WC to mention a few). If NFF can send our coaches abroad to take refresher courses and serve as journeyman under these coaches probably things will start working well. |

Sincerely d association tsef is not organised. D way we play our football(competitions) here in africa is funny. For example CAF champions league n confederations cup is trash. You just find out that teams(clubs) keeps eliminating each other den u hear semi-final n final-very funny n we no plenty reach d europeans. N this same thing is done in other qualifiers-except d AFCON. I think d Grouping system s still d best way for football n not a random choosing like this one wen a team no go sabi is opponents ontime. |
