ndiuel:Make me and offer. You didn't indicate if u wanted the 32-bit version or the 64-bit |
Your location? What version do u want? 32-bit? 64-bit? |
Hello everyone, I'm looking to develop a Desktop application to manage the details of an employee system. I have a fair idea of what the system interface should look like but I'm interested in suggestion from whichever developer I choose. Time frame is 2weeks. Front end could be Java or C#(or any other language). Back-end preferably will be MYSQL or any other open source Database Server. Please contact me via airsaylongcon@gmail.com so we can get things rolling. |
ONNYX:Leave that guy o... Don't argue with him. He is way more informed about the industry than you or me |
Everyone is talking about scenes from the movie. How come no one is talking of the soundtrack. The song that made me know that u can cry listening to a song. Hit back to back |
dazzlingd:Very possible! |
femi4:Where's ur irrefutable proof that he graduated before 30? He who alleges must provide proof |
JesslordKay:Who says a 46 year old can't serve? |
abdulsemiu02:There is no Age limit! If u graduate before 30, u can serve at any age u choose to. Because Adeosun graduated before 30, she needed to serve and wasn't exempt by age. femi4:I don't understand. If he's beyond 30 does that make him ineligible to serve? Only people who graduated after their 30th birthday are ineligible to serve. If u graduate before 30, you must serve. Whether u decide to serve immediately u graduate or when u are 45, u will still serve. Nothing like exemption for these category of people |
They regularly recruit from the local pool of excellent grads. Perhaps only for very highly specialised roles do they have to headhunt as stated. But most of the staff are Nigeria trained Nigerians. U just have to be supremely good @Hedonini I expected a response from you regarding our "conversation" about the international standard of Nigeria LNG pay structure. As for Gamesmart, keep insulting. Some will believe, some won't, So what? |
ashjay001:Who pass 30 nor dey serve? ![]() |
abdulsemiu02:What has 30 years old got to do with national service. Anyone irrespective of age can serve. Or aren't you conversant with the Kemi Adeosun case? |
altereg0:And who says a grandpa cannot serve? |
dazzlingd:Nope. U can serve at any age as long as u graduate BEFORE your 30th birthday |
techgeek12:And you arrived at this figure after considering what? |
harrisonford001:Are 30 year olds not allowed to serve? As far as I know u can serve at whatever age as long as u graduate before your 30th birthday. |
dazzlingd:What's wrong with a 45year old doing youth service? ![]() |
Mario1989:Is National Service only for people under 30? |
stagger:Bros you na "old monkey" o.... Indomie generation supporters nor go know these players tokless of say dem play for Barca |
Favor99:I dodge am and jump am pass |

quinSonia:Oh! Na even Waff u dey? Dem go collect u o just ready |
quinSonia:Sure! But expect to be overcharged because they will be able to detect your lack of knowledge and most likely inflate their price l |
Hedonini:OK, let me first of all clarify that I am NOT holding brief for the company. I only want to correct certain generally held misconceptions (which I too used to believe until I became more knowledgeable about the industry) While Gazprom is the behomoth in the Natural Gas business, there is a sub category of companies that manufacture Liquified Natural Gas. In this sub-category, the undisputed champion is Qatar Gas although they are facing pressure from Australia. Within African market producers include Algeria, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Angola and of course Nigeria. Liquefaction of NG is a more involved process and salaries in this sub category are higher than the general gas industry average. Like you, I've done a cursory salary check in the LNG business. Please check out the links below to see salaries ranges https://www.paysa.com/salaries/qatargas (salaries range from USD93k-162k with average of 118k) https://www.paysa.com/salaries/nigeria-lng-limited (USD100K-169k with average of 124k) differs from Qatar by only 7k which I believe is attributable to the very remote nature of Bonny. https://www.payscale.com/research/US/Employer=Atlantic_Lng/Salary Atlantic LNG is located in Trinidad and Tobago. Average salary here is 122k which isn't far of from what Qatar Gas and NLNG offers https://www.paysa.com/salaries/angola-lng (74k-134k) small one train plant https://www.comparably.com/companies/equatorial-guinea-lng-holdings/salaries Average salary is 145k! Critical to note that the Marketing Associate which is one step above grad trainee is paid 60k annually. The range of salaries above I believe does not cover top C-level executives. Like I said before, I believe NLNG's pay is at par with global standards in the LNG business |
Hedonini:You made some very cerebral points in a number of your posts on this thread. However I'd like to clear certain of your misconceptions. I encourage you to view this with an open and unbiased mind. First of all corruption and NLNG cannot be used in the same line. I'm not saying certain elements within that system aren't corrupt but they are a very miniscule minority. The first and most important value for the business is integrity and they DON'T joke with it. Sometime back during GEJ era their export Jetty was shut down. Why? Because Tompolo was demanding a bribe from the business under the guise of maritime whatever. With a daily target of export shipments that had to be met the company shutdown its operations rather than pay the bribe. That's a multi-million dollar business that could have easily given Tompolo the chicken change he was demanding. This is the same company that doesn't hesitate to terminate employment if there is as much as a proven age or qualification discrepancy in employee records. In the business, one of the most feared departments is its corporate governance department. These guys do not hesitate to apply strict rules regarding their corporate governance. To address your allegation that the recent graduates hired were untalented and highly connected people, I completely disagree with this. I know someone who has zero connections in his LG let alone to be regarded as highly connected who scaled all their rigorous screening to get an offer. When asked how he got in he attributes his success to God's favour and adequate preparation. And he says all his colleagues in one way or another had similar experiences. This person I know was on a 50k job in Ibadan. I don't know how a you can describe such persons as connected. Like someone said, If you are good, you are good. Regarding the pay, I'm certain they aren't paying beyond international industry standard. You need to compare their pay with other Gas companies and you'd find out that its at par with gas industry standard. The company is NOT a government company as people often wrongly assume. Yes NNPC owns shares there but they DO NOT own the company outright |
Some people's minds are soooooooo small they cannot comprehend certain realities of life. I guess they are waiting for empirical evidence for them to phatom facts To those who believe, no proof is necessary. To those who don't, no proof is acceptable. If you know, you know |
