slyfoxxjoe:Naturalisation is for non-citizens. Naturalised citizens get a certificate of citizenship and attend a swearing ceremony. Kemi did none of that. That you fail to claim or assert your citizenship doesn't mean you never had it. Kemi always had Nigerian citizenship by virtue of being born to Nigerian parents |
Gamesmart:I don't make stupid claims. I saw a physical copy of the company's offer letter. I don't need to prove anything to u. Suffice it to say that the company collects one waste product of oil production and process it for sale |
Gamesmart:Idiot?! Why?! Why are you condescending to insults? Because I didn't provide the name of the company? I have a non-disclosure agreement which prohibits me from mentioning the name. I already mentioned the city the company is located so you'd do yourself the favour of researching them out. Please try to be polite irrespective of the means of communication. You never know where it will get you. |
Bolustical:These are good salaries but the CEO of a company in PH goes home with nothing less than a billion in bonuses. That's not including his salaries and allowances o |
Gamesmart:I know. That's why I'm shocked that after 15 years experience they only earn 1.6m monthly pre-tax. The company I'm talking about Ordinary Senior Officer take way more than 1.6m monthly. Grads take over 20m annual |
Gamesmart:1.6m pre tax for a Senior Manager? Life is really unfair. That figure is the post-tax take home for entry level grad in a Nigerian company |
slyfoxxjoe:According to the Nigerian Constitution, Chapter 3, section 25[1], citizenship by birth is as follows. 25. (1) The following persons are citizens of Nigeria by birth-namely- (a) every person born in Nigeria before the date of independence, either of whose parents or any of whose grandparents belongs or belonged to a community indigenous to Nigeria; Provided that a person shall not become a citizen of Nigeria by virtue of this section if neither of his parents nor any of his grandparents was born in Nigeria. (b) every person born in Nigeria after the date of independence either of whose parents or any of whose grandparents is a citizen of Nigeria; and (c) every person born outside Nigeria either of whose parents is a citizen of Nigeria. (2) In this section, "the date of independence" means the 1st day of October 1960. By law, you're a citizen of Nigeria as long as either one of your parents or grandparents is Nigerian regardless of your place of birth. This type of citizenship law is called Jus sanguinis (Right of blood). The other type of citizenship law is Jus soli(Right of soil) where citizenship by birth is granted if you're born in the territory of the country. Naturalization (or naturalisation) is the legal act or process by which a non-citizen in a country may acquire citizenship or nationalityof that country. It may be done by a statute, without any effort on the part of the individual, or it may involve an application and approval by legal authorities. The rules of naturalization vary from country to country and typically include a minimum legal residencyrequirement, and may specify other requirements such as knowledge of the national dominant language or culture, a promise to obey and uphold that country's laws. An oath or pledge of allegiance is also sometimes required. Some countries also require that the person renounce any other citizenship that they currently hold, forbidding dual citizenship, but whether this renunciation actually causes loss of the person's original citizenship, as seen by the host country and by the original country, will again depend on the laws of the countries involved. |
jaxxy:I know of at least 4 people with sentences ranging from 6 months to 18 months. For forging a variety of documents. One forged reference letter from his school. Another had a forged WAEC certificate. It doesn't matter if you forge an educational document or an ID card. British embassy for example will hand you over to the Nigerian police if they spot a false document in your visa application |
jaxxy:In Nigeria do you know how many people have gone to jail for submitting false documents when applying for a visa? |
slyfoxxjoe:She said she applied for and obtained a Nigerian Passport at 34. Nigerian passports are issued only to Citizens of Nigeria. And all citizens of Nigeria irrespective of where they schooled are mandated to serve the country if they graduated under the age of 30. |
jaxxy:Anywhere in the world, it is a crime to be in possession of a false document. Presenting such false document as genuine is a very grave offence. She is guilty of both and should face the music. In the UK its up to 2year jail term for possession https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1981/45 |
kinzation:I'm based in Lagos but I've got clients in Ibadan that I service monthly. They are located one each in Iyaganku GRA, Bodija and General Gas areas in Ibadan. Since the business hasn't commenced yet there are a number of choices you (or the business owner) can consider. One option will be rather than deploy just a Checkout system you can install a full Retail Management System. This system is an all-in-one solution that in addition to the Checkout module, has other business management modules such as Financial/Accounts, Human Resource Management, Purchase Modules (which enables you manage the purchase of inventory items that are sold in the supermarket) etc. This way you have all your business information in one solution which greatly improves business insight You also can decide to just stick with a simple checkout solution as highlighted in my previous post and as the business grows you can then decide to scale up to the Retail Management System. Don't hesitate to contact us via the email address I initially shared. We'd be glad to avail you of our services and experience at competitive prices |
Have you checked that your Web host meets the requirements of that version of Magento? Also I stay away from softaculous installs rather I download directly from Magento website and install on webhost. |

obailala:Possession of a false document IS a crime irrespective of whether it was used or not. Submitting the de false document is another offence on its own whether she knew it was false or not. That is the position of the law |
Olalan:Ordinary Shaku shaku that Falz used their own to do in "This is Nigeria" we know how MURIC was foaming at the mouth |
kudaisi:How does Mono come in here? mono-project.com |
Good optics. Commendable that you have put in effort at doing all of this. Can I constructively criticise your work? |
VULCAN:The foreign caller is the one that gets the savings. That way, Nigerians in the diaspora don't get to spend an arm and a leg calling their loved ones in Nigeria. The federal government was trying to tax them via their calls |
savio93:Without call masking, you mum would be paying considerably more to call you as FG has included a tax on all foreign calls |
fixedhollies:God bless you for this. Many people ranting here don't know that if the calls were terminated directly it would cost more for people abroad to call us. Meaning less calls from abroad. NCC will have to and steal my phone for them to find out if I'm getting masked calls |
How much? |
objobj:So what will you say of New York State that has the same population size as Lagos State, considerably more cars than LAGOS and considerably less potholes? |
generationz:And she had to travel to the US to do a peel? Perhaps an ordinary BHA peel o |
I am shocked that someone is recommending tea for Fibroid. When the thing hold you or your family member you go know say na surgery sure pass. Stupid con man disguised as a tea seller |
HTML is a MARKUP language NOT a programming Language. As for simultaneously learning multiple languages, my advice is that you are properly grounded in the underlying Computer Science theory. Languages are just different ways of implementing the theoretical concepts. |
Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning |
Alaadin:Do they have to be FOSS? Presently WhatsApp isn't FOSS and we all use it. They claim end-to-end private key encryption and even though they haven't made that public domain, we accept ait and believe them. I personally prefer Signal and Telegram in that order |
NwanyiAwkaetiti:Mining bitcoin (and all other crypto currencies) isn't illegal though. |
Do you want a cloud solution (available from the Internet) or one that runs only within your sale outlet? A Web app (running from a Web browser), a desktop app or a mobile app? |
