I have a relative who bed-wetted till he entered the university. He stopped at about 19 years of age, when he had s3x for the first time. It is still a surprise to me.

I think it is a little irresponsible for somebody in the person of a state governor to brandish a birthday cake made with the logo of a foreign football Club. It goes to show that our leaders (and i am more surprised for a Fashola) lack the spirit of patriotism. For goodness sake, what happened to our local, Nigerian teams? Freedom of expression, yes, but certainly, Certain things cannot be found in developed countries. This is a minus to a governor believed to be the best so far in Nigeria.

I keep saying that the problem of Nigeria is us and not PDP, OBJ, GEJ, IBB or anybody else. It is in us. And unless we change our attitude of greed, corruption and irresponsibility, Nigeria will continue to be doomed.

I get confused about this lie issue, especially b/c it is not always frowned at in some cases in the Bible. Below are all great people in the Bible, who lied for one reason or the other:

1. Abraham denied his wife before Abimelech to save his head (Gen 20: 1-5 )

2. Isaac lied about his wife before Abimelech to save his head (Gen 26: 7-9)

3. The Wise Gibeonites told lies to survive annihilation (Joshua Chapters 9 & 10).

4. Peter told lies about Christ three times, so he cud live to propagate d gospel (Mark 14: 66 -72: & Luke 22: 56-61)

Yet, nothing happened to them all. Abraham became great, so did Isaac. The wise Gibeonites were saved and had a pact with Joshua and Israel. Peter was crowned the head of the church, and made the stone/rock of the church.


On the other hand,

Ananias and Saphira was struck dead for lying. (Act 5: 1-10).

Okay. The latter (couple) lied to the holy spirit; that is why they were killed. So, can tell lies to fellow humans? I am sorry. But I am just worried and a bit confused about this truth n lie issue. God I am not trying to speak blasphemy (God forgive me), I am only curious.

There is no basis for comparison b/w Mother Theresa, who followed the steps of Christ, visited war-torn areas, had no inheritance, nor private jet (like Christ), enjoyed not the pleasures of this world; and Oyedepo, who is already comforted in the world by his riches, amassed from poor people's pockets. If u watch foreign documentaries, a police/army officer seeing another officer(s) obeys, even the one on duty complies with security processes and humbly indentifies himself. Recently, I watched a hostage taking by a terrorist in a library. One of the hostages was a policeman, who eventually shot and killed the gunman. When a SWAT team arrived & asked everybody in there to hands up, the policeman, dropped his gun, surrendered and gently told them "I am a police officer; I shot the man." That was even when he was handcuffed.

When shall we learn?

An average student in nigeria finishes high school around age 16-18yrs
1.) Write waec for like 4 times before you make like five credit (note that like 3 credits can be from waec 1999 and the other two credit can be from GCE 2002)
2.) JAMB go Jam person like four times
3.) ASU go strike
4.) porter go strike
5.) cleaner too dey strike
6.) Even student too no dey carry last (who no dey strike for naija)

7.) If you be fine girl whey no gree open puss, lecturer go fail you so tey,  or if you be bobo whey dey date that guy whey the lecturer dey eye na so u go dey chop beans for exam

8.) You struggle finish school them no see you result, them use a whole year search for result before them clear you make u go serve you father land

While I agree with most of your points, I disagree completely with items 1, 2, 7 & 8.

First it is a dullard that will write WAEC/JAMB 4 times.

Secondly 7 & 8: I have said it here time without number that an intelligent student cannot face any of these predicaments. Let us not also ill-advise junior & upcoming students.

A lecturer can only fail a student for not sleeping with him if d student is a dullard. It's nt possible to fail an 'A' student or bring her down to 'D' not to talk of 'F.' Please, note this.

Similarly, a lecturer will be scared to 'misplace' or lose a script to an 'A' or even 'B' student. A lecturer can only fail a borderline (D, E) student, or one that never took her studies seriously.

I hate when unserious graduates tell me such cock n bulls stories during interviews. I once met a 3rd class graduate in an interview and she told me she refused to sleep with lecturers & that landed her to a 3rd class. Nonsense!

My worry is that this MAN is still a law maker in Nigeria. Are we not in trouble?

As for the protesting women,
