Hey poster, impressing verbose, but it's all kind of ironic as yourself and your ilk are acting true to type, especially in these times. Well, maybe it's some new found strategy I presume. But I guess you well know how the story's gonna end, or maybe your master might have just missed mentioning that to you. Anyways, I believe you'll get to see soon enough, and I wonder if you're gonna be having the last laugh  undecided

I strongly doubt so . . .

I see the athiests and unbelievers are having a good time.Let me walk away.Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalms 7:11  God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Do not misunderstand, I am trying to distinguish here between the "God" that men serve and the one true creator. It is obvious that you are a christian, what is the name that you call the God you serve? At least, if an unrepentant evil doer claims to worship a "God", would it not be necessary for you to distinguish the one whom you worship for the world to know?

In The Acts of the Apostles, precisely the 23rd verse of chapter 17, Paul alluded to "an unknown God" as the creator whom the Athenians worship without really knowing, now with that in mind, is it not proper that we of this day and age know the God whom we claim to worship?

Jagunlabi, I do believe that you accept the existence of a creator, do you worship this creator or just acknowledging his existence suffices for you?

jagunlabi:
The entire physical universe and all that is in it is a design, and the designer is the universal consciousness, what is also called the pure state of the creator God.
At least, I can identify with this. Now, if I may ask, does this creator God exist as a nameless entity? If he does, how do we acknowledge him in creation? And if he does have a name, won't it be proper for one to identify with that name, knowing the very significance of names in the cultures and orientations of physical and metaphysical existence?

Thank you for espousing the contradictions in religion, but the question remains, how did we get here? Is there a reason for our being here? Why do we die? Is our existence just based on a few decades of life and then eternal oblivion? Is the earth a design and if so, who is the designer? Is it beyond the comprehension of humans to understand existence, do we expect some rational explanation someday, and if so, who might give this explanation without controversy?

We may then accurately conclude, that "god" is an imaginary concept within the minds of all believers when it comes to this obvious action taken and held strong among all christians. same apply to moslems and all religious people out there.
Are you implying that "a creator" is an imaginary concept too?  undecided

Christianity EtcRe: Why Is Science And Reasoning Such A Bad Thing? by ajadrage: 2:42pm On Feb 21, 2009
Science will ultimately come to be reconciled with reasoning as she is still at an infancy. A field that is clueless as to why the cell suddenly stops reproducing, or what triggers the ageing gene, one that is at a loss as to the true relevance of black holes in the multiverse and their significance to galaxy formation and as such potential life. Galileo in his tragic genius, were he to be alive today would have seriously questioned the possibility of a man manned space station. So the science of today would become obsolete with the discoveries of the future. And as each wave of discovery opens the door to man's irresistible quest for knowledge, science would be melted in reason and even religious views would need to be modified as they are both artificial constructions. However, the knowledge inherent in existence await discovery by inquisitive minds, and science at present provides the most empirical avenue for such a quest to be undertaken, the consequence would ultimately play itself out and reason would be called upon to prevail (at least, every one is now talking about the effect of climate change and necessity for clean energy, althought it's been an issue for close to three decades).
Christianity EtcRe: We Need To Confess Our Sins by ajadrage: 2:29pm On Feb 21, 2009
In this day and time, we are at the mercy of the creator and only at his behest do we have a hope of forgiveness of sins. In these perilous times, we would be wise to adhere to admonitions contained in the intellectual discourse provided by a man, Jesus over two millenia ago, as recorded by Matthew MD. We are made aware that none is worthy of salvation, only the mercy of the creator is necessary and sufficient for this salvation hope to be realised. . .

Christianity EtcRe: This Man Made God Called God by ajadrage(op): 2:14pm On Feb 21, 2009
The ancient nation of Israel (when they were faithful) worshiped one that claimed preeminence of power over and above all the entities and principalities that traverse existence since creation, physical and metaphysical. The exploits at various points where this power was questioned proved beyond the resources of every other power, of man or man made. Now, were this power to manifest again in these times, what would one expect the consequences to be for worldly adherents of the plurality of religious and atheistic beliefs? If the creator being one, where would the justification for the many "Gods" of the many religions and quasi religions lie? Would this creator condone the excesses of the "God" of this world, who from all indications is being worshiped by many of the compromised clergy, corrupt politicians, and even professional criminals, all ascribing their actions to the will of this "God"?

Christianity EtcThis Man Made God Called God by ajadrage(op): 5:52am On Feb 17, 2009
The creator of the universe certainly has a name which he urges his children to call as there are countless many gods of the hands of men. At this point when every one can ascribe anything to "God", even obviously satanic politicians and unrepentant evil doers, it is pertinent to distinguish the one true and living almighty creator from an entity whom many, even so called "men of God" are quick to mention as their deity. What name do you call your GOD?

PoliticsRe: Nairaland Political Party? by ajadrage: 6:57am On Feb 08, 2009
The only political ideology needed is one that has the betterment of the Nigerian society at it's heart. The Naijan ideology, a new ideology. This transcends artificial political, religious and intellectual  differences. . .
PoliticsRe: Nairaland Political Party? by ajadrage: 8:52pm On Feb 06, 2009
The name of this movement is at the moment insignificant, what is significant is that citizens of Nigeria are together taking a decision that the times for lethargy is fast fading and the time for citizen action is fast approaching. This here endeavour might have it's obstacles, but in the many levels of our individual networking, awareness is being generated. Things have got to get better, and the sooner this message is drummed up in the consciousness of as many citizens, the sooner the change that all yearn for is actualised. There are obstacles, like we all are aware of. But like the old cliche says, 'many are called, but few chosen', some of the chosen few are about to be revealed in this here discourse.

Those ones that would make this change occur are beginning to identify themselves in the various avenues of networking that are available to the Nigerian citizen. And even if this does not occur, it serves as a melting pot for those that would identify with it at this infancy stage of a revolution that many had alluded to in the past as to be expected. For all those who are brave enough to discard identities of religion and creed, ethic affiliation and artificial political ideology, for all those who are yearning to put on the all encompassing garb of the Nigerian Citizen, I say kudos. In this struggle, you are not alone, for that is a point that can be made by this endeavour. Even if you seem to stand alone, as long as justice shall prevail, the society can be a better place for humankind. . .

No need to be antagonized, the spelling of "a frozen mass of water particles" that I intended was made in error. The blunder is quite insufficient for one to unleash the destructive capabilities and propensities of a weaponry with such devastating consequences as katana posseses.
