The term the state of nature, having roots in political philosophy is ascribed to social contract theories in the description of man in his environment before the advent of the state. Many have come to believe that that particular period in human history was characterized by violence. While in agreement as to veracity of that age in human history, I beg to differ on the premise that rather than it being the first man age on the planet, it was actually an interregnum of an earlier age, the state of become which is characterized by order and peace.

The state of become which according to DNA evidence was evidenced in Africa about two hundred to four hundred thousand years ago is adjudged by this arguement to be the ideal state. This is the state that man was expected to adhere to as it provided a steady form of tutelage and mutual co-existence. After the challenge of existence brought about the dispersal of man, The most widely accepted view among current anthropologists is that Homo sapiens had colonized Eurasia and Oceania about 40,000 years ago, and finally colonized the Americas approximately 10,000 years ago. They displaced Homo neanderthalensis and other species through more successful reproduction and competition for resources. The event of this dispersal led to the competition for resources and thus confrontation was bound to occur. It is in this state of man that the need for the state arose. A deduction is derived that presuposses the end point of the state of nature to be in the region of 10,000 years

Up until only around 10,000 years ago, all humans lived as hunter-gatherers.


The state of nature is thus placed on the table of reason as the existence of unexplained evidence of a golden age prior to the earliest forms of post 'state of nature' human organisation opens up the debate as to the way and pattern of life that was available to man prior to the interregnum that is characterised by a Hobbessian state of nature. The state of become provides this explanation as it represents that state of man in harmony with himself and with nature where anarchy was non existent and the law was the One ruler.

The failure of man to successfully administer governance over his fellow man is immediately traceable to the disregard for the rule of law in all it's entirety. This flagrant disregard for this rule has led to the many crumbling down of communities, societies, kingdoms and nation states over the entire history of mankind. It therefore behoves on the researcher to decipher if this present system of things makes any rational sense as the entire destinition of the art of statesmanship as practiced by man is headed squarely in the direction of self immolation by continuing with it's present rate of progression which has been erroneously described as civilization and modernisation. An alternative is the realisation of the state of become where the entirety of mankind would return to that situation where life is peaceful, blissful positively productive and long.

This idea which has been in the consciousness of interested scholars of this expected phenomenon for over fifteen millenia has only just begun enjoy little attention from contemporary scholars of the world over who have seen through the shroud that has been pulled over reason by political and economic think thanks manipulating the potentialities of religion to assert a stranglehold on power, the bane of mankind.

One truth is certain though, religion might one day cease to exist the way we know it, but the truth of man's existence shall be sifted through all the religious literature and those that genuinely seek to know the "whys and hows" and the many questions that continue to plague mankind that religion has failed to answer would discover that the real substance of worship is not the name that a religion is given nor the tag ascribed to it, rather it shall be the positive force that guides us all into discerning that which hurts the other brother and our abstinence fro it or those that wrong the other sister and our desisting from them. Those are the templates that shall be imprinted in our hearts.

Friedrich Nietzsche had an idea (although he veered way beyond the right direction due to his disenchantment with religion) when he said "God is dead", but were he to be alive today, I believe that he might have rephrased it to read "Religion is dead".

The early fathers of the catholic church from the time of the Nicene congregation headed by the Roman emperor Constantinople made a lot of revising to the the tenets of gospel based christianity, even infusing pagan traditions to worship e.g incense and festivities which were not a part of the Jesus era of christianity (Bible based or not).

My arguement is in that light. Very soon, most if not all dogma will become obsolete and only the true word of the Lord would remain. It is time that the catholic church begins to re order itself so it be not classed among false religion.
