Maybe you haven't come across or heard of some of his initiatives in the Health, Education, Tourism etc sectors and I can understand why if you haven't. Anyway if his party decides to nominate him for reelection, then his handlers will roll out his achievements in some of the sectors I've mentioned. |

omonla10: Sanwo olu Lagos state. 1/10.
How can u be auctioning out another man's car cos he flouted traffic rules.. Madness at its best That's the Lagos state law which has been there before he even became the gov of the state. If you have issues with the law, you can go to the court and contest it and it may be repealed in your favor. It's not by just making noise online. Don't follow one way and no one will arrest you not to talk of auctioning your car |

tuna85: As regards endsars you are right, as for projects, you don't expect him to initiate new ones when there are a couple of Ambode's uncompleted projects which have to be worked on. Even projects which Fashola initiated but weren't completed by Ambode still has to be completed by Sanwoolu. The money Lagos generates is better channeled towards completing the old projects that'll be beneficial to the masses. |

He represents Surulere consitituency and the game was played in Surulere.
If you listen carefully you'll hear some people in the crowd shouting "Gbaja".
The governor uses an SUV, while the speaker uses a Mercedes Benz S Class sedan.
The crowd was angry that some people got into the stadium and they couldn't get in. Some people know this but just wants to twist is that it's the Gov that was booed. Several online media and even Sowore carried the false news. And when you try to correct them, you'll be termed a govt paid agent. |

sulaak: Lagos Light Rail: 17 years after, failed promises, rot, neglect trail project More than a decade since the construction of the Lagos Light Rail has commenced, it has failed to see the light of the day.
Last December, the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said the blue line rail project will be completed in 2020 and become operational in 2021. Mr Sanwo-Olu spoke after inspecting the five-kilometre- long beam bridge constructed from Iganmu to Marina, as part of the fourth phase of the project. He claimed that the completion of the sea-crossing track indicated his administration’s commitment towards finishing the state-funded track started in 2009.
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/investigationspecial-reports/431862-lagos-light-rail-17-years-after-failed-promises-rot-neglect-trail-project.html The Managing Director of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, Mrs Abimbola Akinajo, has said the Lagos Red Rail Line will be operational in 24 months (October 2022). She made this statement in Lagos on Tuesday at a milestone meeting on the implementation of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit Red and Blue Line projects with the contractors and consultants. Akinajo said the meeting was to reaffirm the already established positions on timelines for the delivery of the rail lines to passenger operation according to a statement by Assistant Director, Corporate Communication of LAMATA, Kolawole Ojelabi, titled ‘Lagos red rail line will be operational in 24 months’. plaindealer: How Ambode Underdeveloped Lagos
It's a long and eye-opening read/
....but don't read if you don't want to cry for Lagos. One of the thing that pains me most about Ambode was after receiving the Paris club refund share of Lagos, instead of using it to boost the speedy completion of the blue line, he decided to buy new BRT buses and the oshodi interchange. I'm not saying those projects aren't worthy, but at that moment, in terms of scale of preference and being aware of Lagos not having enough money, he should have used the paris club refund for the rail lines. And to think that man is an accountant and he couldn't manage Lagos funds properly is shameful. |

olujastro: There’s nothing fake about Sanwo-Olu, that is simply his personality. Not everyone would have a strong, assertive personality and be a great public speaker like Fashola. Same can be said about Ambode who totally lacks the charisma of a leader especially when on a microphone. You got that Ambode's part spot on. Transitioning from the days of eloquent Fashola to Ambode's era in public presentation was a pain for me. But I had to realise quickly that at the end of the day personalities differ and it's the results that matter. |

Cantonese: No. He had no choice bro. He would not dare abandon such a project. That’s a wrong assertion. Ambode worked a little on that road. Have you wondered what went wrong? Has he so far not abandoned the Oshodi project?
However did you not hear when he said the work would be completed by 2022?
Abeg no mention Fashola name here. All he knows is English and projections. Work no way. We are staying waiting for his rocket science story to clear away.
Ambode worked in Lagos much more than Fashola himself in the four years that he served. Go around all parts of Lagos and you”ll see what he did with the roads.
We sincerely hope that Sanwo Olu will not just talk but work. Anyone I see that claims Ambode did better than Fashola obviously doesn't understand governance and public administration. www.tundefashola.com is still up to check up on his achievements while in Lagos. You can praise Ambode to high heavens, but don't come here and start lying unprovoked that he's better than Fashola. Nobody will swallow that with you sir. |
