ogbonti: Exactly - Sanwo Olu should have a plan B to go to PDP when the time for the 2023 primaries begin and he must nurture men secretly to contest every House of Assembly seat in Lagos State for the PDP in 2023 - The reason Tinubu is controlling him anyhow is the fear of impeachment - because the House of Assembly members is in his palm - THAT WAS WHAT OBASEKI DID to dislodge Oshomole - he made sure the Oshomole loyalist were weeded out quickly to stop them from messing up his government - SANWO OLU must never allow the Ambode treatment to be given to him
I said it here sometime ago that Tinubu will like to remove Sanwo Olu in 2023 to revalidate his Jagaban status after Oshomole his boy lost Edo because he cannot bear to think he has been demystified - over to you Lagosians, Una mumu never do? hmm hmmm hmmmm Abeg, Sanwo-olu should go to PDP for what Never will PDP rule the affairs of Lagos, maybe another party can try but not pdp |

ogbonti: like Tinubu wanted Fashola to complete his 8 years even when Fashola was a miracle worker as Governor of Lagos State What many of you have failed to realise now is that Tinubu isn't making a unilateral decision on who his party should present as a governorship candidate. Tinubu didn't want Fashola but the party wanted him to continue, Tinubu obeyed their decision. Tinubu wanted Ambode to continue but the party members didn't want him, Tinubu obeyed their decision. But because people hate Tinubu so much, they don't know this but thinks he calls all the shots without listening to the opinion of others. |

izzou: The Deputy governor is going to be the candidate in 2023...
Sanwo-olu is just completing Ambode's second term, after which he will go and sleep
Hazmat is the anointed one for APC in 2023, God keeping him alive I strongly doubt this doe. Sanwo, if he does well should be allowed to complete his 8! |

Atouke: Thats good. Akwa Ibom is trying to make it more organized with introduction of championships that these teams can aspire to, and also attempt to make it commercially viable so they are not dependent on the state government. This is the most important aspect. Commercial viability or else it will fail once the current government is out of office. I believe they'll have this in mind |

I suggested this sometimes this year to the Lagos State commissioner for sports and he was a bit skeptical about it. I'll be watching and following this state's efforts on how they intend to make this sustainable and profitable in the long run.
Good one from Akwa Ibom |

what kind of system of government is Nigeria practicing? According to him refuse management, water supply, primary healthcare, basic education, etc are all matters within the local and state government and the duties rest upon the state governors. |

mcquin: 1. Has Buhari, I dare say Fashola been criticizing past F.Gs?
2. How far has this administration pursued the devolution of powers to states?
3. Who is in charge of security, power and other major sectors. (See the Exclusive and Residual list for this). Your questions are off tangent, the quote below was the context in which he made this submission. "According to him refuse management, water supply, primary healthcare, basic education, etc are all matters within the local and state government and the duties rest upon the state governors." |
