Judolisco:The bar of governance in Lagos is higher than what Ambode did, so he was rightly booted out. But I love his ambitious projects doe |
This is the kind of thread I expected Obaseki supporters to have created but they kept shouting Edo no be Lagos. The OP don finish work for Aketi with this thread. All the best to him in the coming election |
Racoon:What's useless here. Common sense should have let you know that LIRS cashed in on the opportunity of his popularity to draw attention to themselves and stir up the tax conversation but you just always want to wail and vent your frustrations on every thread. |
Realdeals:The ministry of economic planning and budget has started doing something like that. It's on their website |
The problem with Lastma now is that the LASG wants their MDAs to be self-sustaining which means agencies like Lastma are not expected to rely on government subventions. Therefore, their officers now find every means to charge road traffic defaulters. I think LASG should instead cater for the expenses of Lastma |
The Budgit report doe damaged Lagos reputation has achieved one thing though, the Lagos State government will take the transparency of it's financial account very very serious! |
Conceptsncontex:Lol e pain the weyrey |
princemillla:I like your sincerity from the first statement. Of course, we always need to hold our leaders accountable because if they fail to perform, they know we'll vote them out. I can guess you go out a lot, you'd probably have seen that there's so much traffic on Lagos roads nowadays. That's partly because of the rehabilitation, reconstruction or palliative work going on in some of our roads, for instance the Ketu-Mile2 route where they're using concrete on the roads. But let's tell ourselves the truth, the government cannot do all roads at once even if they have the means/funds to, the state will literally shut down due to holdup. You may also realise that the LSPWC has woken up to their responsibility of fixing potholes. You mentioned Aguda, you'll be familiar with Enitan street, the LSPWC have been there like twice to fix the bad portions on the road. That's responsiveness. They've done same in several places around Lagos too. Coming to how much Lagos realised everyday, I think most of us make this mistake thinking there's money kept somewhere that the government has refused to touch to fix the roads. Remember Lagos has a large economic sector, therefore you can't afford to neglect some sectors in favor of another. You can't say because you need more money to fix roads therefore you want to abandon Tourism. My point is that so much money you think Lagos has or generates daily is being competed for by various sectors. I won't hold brief or defend a government that performs badly and I understand the pain motorists and Lagosians go through in some areas as a result of bad roads but what I won't accept is that as we clamor for our roads to be fixed, we vilify those who want to highlight the positive side of Lagos for people to appreciate how far we've come. To the areas you've mentioned, I've followed LSPWC schedule on road palliatives and I've seen them fix some roads in those areas. They haven't done all. Also, you may have read from few days ago when Sanwo launched 377 ward projects and most of it were road projects. This is how Lagos roads will gradually be fixed. While we want our roads to be fixed to have a smooth driving experience, we should also allow those who chose to launder the image of the state in a positive way, because this thread won't and many more of it won't stop the government of the day from completing other road projects scattered across the state. Remember, these roads you saw in the first page where once bad roads that turned out to be this way. Have a nice Sunday sir ![]() |
anonimi:Not wail, but burst misinformation from people like you. How far with Gbadamosi campaign? I think you should be more busy canvassing support for him that all these you're doing. |
anonimi:I don't have, you don't too so why mislead people and make them think that place has been the same since 2014. Instead of posting pictures from years ago, don't post anything if you don't have pictures of current realities. ![]() |
IJOBA2:Okponu ni guy yi sha ![]() |
Conceptsncontex:Why should he show you? What stops you from showing us? |
martineverest:Why not overhype your own state? Are the mods stopping you from hyping yours ![]() |
princemillla:What then happens when you see those "core" Lagos roads ![]() |
onelejerry:What is he doing that is greater than Sanwoolu, list them here let's counter you. |

Nnamdi640, why so dumb? Couldn't you see these pictures are from 2014 ![]() |
awofodu3:They've shown you their own master plan but you won't want to see that because it won't suit your agenda to stay misinformed |
Eriokanmi:What did he do in 4 years what Fashola couldn't do in 8 years? List them boldly |
anonimi:Very predictable. Pictures from 2014. Anonimi has done it again. I was expecting picture of Fashola inspecting trains which is one of your favorites |
Luckydubby7:Isn't this the same way people from other state do theirs? Don't they snap the good places and leave their toys behind. If you want to market a place, what will you do? Snap the bad places, and to what end? Use your sense sir, please! |
Sanwo-olu has really played a good one with the focus of projects via ward level. This way, if anyone tries to scuttle his 2023 reelection, he already has the grassroot support to back him |
helinues:That silly video he made annoyed me so much. I wonder what he was thinking of at that moment. He showed his hands as a desperado and I'm sure he regrets that move. |
Aksnoopy:Nigga, you should have praised your Makinde in peace without dragging Lagos into it. Because Lagos civil servants don't brag about this doesn't mean they aren't being paid allowances like this. They're just used to it so nothing to brag about. But you, that has never experienced such can brag about it but don't compare with Lagos, Oyo doesn't come in anyway close to Lagos. Abi you too want to start OyoIsNotLagos ![]() |
Why not stop being dumb and go and read the full budgit report that was released on state of state for 2020. Because they saw Lagos in the zone marked red, they've been in an overjoyous mood since morning creating threads after threads to diss the state. Only God knows what Lagos has done to this sad people ![]() |
kettykin:Why don't you foresee the state surviving another 20 years? |
handsomeclouds:They've been delivering good governance in Lagos long before the edo election. |
tollyboy5:From what specialadviser wrote, that means the usage of the word preceded the date of June 4 when he made his own post. I'm surprised you guys are still on this matter though ![]() |
jericco1:Just remove Lagos from your permutations ![]() |
osamz007:Why shouldn't they vote APC if their governors are performing ![]() |
pretydiva:You want us to practice a one party system of government ![]() |
frankyychiji:How much is he worth for you to conclude he is the richest ex governor? By being the son of a nobody, does that mean he doesn't deserve to be rich or being rich is only reserved for sons of somebody's ![]() |
