Is it a MUST that Eyimba will win all the 5 matches?!
Of course why won't enyimba win their remaining 5 games. This is a team that won 4 of their last 5 games including 2 away games. You're not following naija league

Ajibel and surprise you are saying this

We are not talking of envy here

Enyimba is clearly Nigeria's most successful team I agree. But at this point in time Rivers are in form and are clearly ahead.

Its like saying the in England the FA semi finals game should be given to man city without playing. Whereas Arsenal were in form for the day and won it. They even went ahead to beat Chelsea

So why bent the rule that's my point
Guy which rivers United is in form? Or haven't you also seen Enyimba's win ratio despite playing less. Enyimba won 4 out of their last 5 games, despite also facing continental games, isn't that a team also in formhuh So don't use form to put rivers ahead because both teams didn't play the same number of games

My bro, on this one we disagree. Because of enyimba, Nigeria can now have two reps in the champions league. If they didn't perform well, rivers United won't even have an opportunity to represent because it's only plateau United that would have repped us.

If your argument holds water then the league should be completed else the right table standing should be maintained... It doesn't matter if you are having 20games in hand, ur games not played doesn't affect your position on the table that's the football rule and it's sacrosanct.
The right table standing would have been used if there were no outstanding games or if those games won't affect the placement of our continental representatives.

What should have been done was to conclude the league season behind closed doors

Nigeria will never cease to amaze me.

Clearly Rivers United is ahead of Enyimba this season no matter the parameter used.

So why is enyimba placed above Rivers based on what
Enyimba has 5 games outstanding. Isnt it baffling that even at that, enyimba still comes close to rivers in whatever parameters you're also using

That is an insult to the honorable governor.. amobode is an elede appointed by takpa rakpa no ogie oyi, neither have shame or morals

Long live Edo state

Edo is not Lagos ... No God fatherism and praising of thugs like mc oluomo in Edo state

Even when former governor Lucky tried all he could to give Bobby power we reminded him that bobby was and will always remain a tout and we spat on him

But in Lagos mc oluomo is a celebrity...

Edo is Eden and will never be Sodom like Lagos ..an overhyped ghetto which will never be a megacity

Say otherwise and tugha gioan
A megacity is a very large city, typically with a population of more than 10 million people. and Lagos has close to 25 million inhabitants

But Covid-19 according to the government statistics is still high,so what happens now. This story is not adding up o?
There's now a change in strategy. The problem here is that many of us are unaware of government's policy on how this virus is being handled that's why we're making uninformed comments and arguments.
Health › Re: YPO COVID-19 Isolation Centre In Lagos Shut Down by Ajibel(m): 10:10am On Jul 15, 2020
StagethemTVee:
That is exactly the why i need an answer to. Why are they shutting down operations when covid infections are suppossedly on the rise? If it was crude oil agreement, they would know how to extend and keep the dollars rolling in.
Initially when all these started, LASG didnt have the capacity to manage the rising cases because the required facilities weren't available. So this private body came together to temporarily establish this isolation center with the support of the government for a specified time.

Now that the capacity of LASG has been improved upon and the management of cases by LASG has also been changed in preference of treating mild cases in the community and medium to severe cases in isolation centers, there was no need to continue again given that they already have a timeframe for this temporarily setup center to last.

If the government was still not capable of managing things themselves, they would have met with this private body and make necessary arrangement for the extension of this temporary isolation center.

LASG has also realised that the virus will be with us for quite a while, so they're also making changes to their policies to reflect the new normal and that could involve closing more temporary isolation centers as time goes by

They specified the why sir,

Highlighted below again:

The centre was handed over to the Lagos State Government to be integrated into the statewide response to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. However, on July 31, the centre will end its operations in line with the agreement signed with the Lagos State Government.

Can you see there was a short term agreement between the private sector and the LASG? The agreement was to last a specified month

At the end the truth about all this scam will be revealed, Ambode in my opinion is far better than this self imposed governor which oshomole is trying so hard to repeat same in Edo state. Buhari government has the worst cabinet in history,APC with the worst governors in history.
Well glad it's just your opinion and not the general opinion of most Lagosians who appreciate the leadership shown by the current govt in the fight against COVID19

backnbeta:
So, the reason they are shutting down is 'based on agreement...' even when the pandemic is still there and there is a shortage of personnel and facilities? Okay o undecided
No, the LASG is simply changing their strategy. Instead of having everybody come to the isolation center for treatment, they're doing community-based treatment and will only move moderate to severe cases to the isolation centers. There's currently no shortage of facilities in the state's isolation centers.

The patients will be moved to other isolation centers if they haven't recovered by the time they will shut down. Lagos has over 7 dedicated isolation centers besides this one at Landmark

It's a partnership between Landmark Village (the people that own the place that the centre was located), Young Presidents Association (who provided the equipment and some of the staff) and the Lagos State Government (who are the regulators). The agreement was billed to last for 3 months and it is already 3 months so it has expired.
People don't read sir. Very unfortunate and it's due to the headline

Thanks to the contributions of the private sector in this fight against COVID19.

The LASG should please make the most/best use of the equipment that will be handed over to them.

Lagos Health sector wont remain the same after this pandemic due to the massive investment that has gone into it
