Politics / Re: Who Else Have Seen This Funny Thread On Nairaland today by Ajisebioyolaari: 1:40am On May 01, 2018
With the fraudulent campaign strategy I saw on that thread today, I have discarded the little thought I was nursing to vote Dankwambo in 2019. Even the quality of projects in the pictures he posted are questionable.

Dankwambo may have tried in Gombe state capital but the state workers do not speak so highly of him.

I thought this dakwambo will be a different personality. now I know they are all the same. Creating multiple accounts to sing praises of the man.

I hereby confirm that politics in Nigeria is all about SCAM
You are very smart. I thought I was the only one who noticed this. One foool who has been paid to campaign thinks he can foool everyone else by creating multiple accounts and shower accolades on his benefactor. Not only were each of the accounts opened between 26th- 30th April 2018, they all have one comment each and it is all about Dankwambo. Nigerian youths are indeed lazy.

I was even contemplating about voting him in 2019.....but with this fraudulent campaign strategy, he just lost a potential vote.

Not a smart response at all.

If we start bothering about the religions of killers before condemning them then we have lost our humanity.

The killing of anyone is not acceptable. Trump fixed his comment in the Rose Garden.
You should have just answered her question instead of all these weak attempt at hiding the truth. Most if not all of the religious inclined killings in Nigeria are perpetrated by muslims or in the name of islam. It did not start today, but as far back as the early 80s (if not earlier). Can any christian kill muslims in the north in the name of terrorism and all hell will not break loose? Mr man, I know it's hard to be objective on issues like this especially for fanatics like you but you need to accept the hard truth.

Argue with your jihadists.

Politics / Re: Can You Solve Nigeria's Problem? by Ajisebioyolaari: 10:59pm On Apr 29, 2018
1. Security: Without the guaranteed security of lives and properties, nothing can work.

2. Power: There is an urgent need to boost our power sector. Quality education, conducive learning environment, science and technology, industralisation and scientific research are all tied to good power generation. Electricity is needed for smooth operation in industries, educational institutions, laboratories/research centers, libraries, etc.

3. Education: There is a need to increase funding in education and ensure transparency in the education budget, procurement process and remuneration of workers in the education sector. More investment should be channeled into scientific research, technological development, skill acquisition and transfer, research grants, construction of laboratories/research centers and upgrading of existing ones, human capacity development, etc. Make Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) very attractive to students by providing scholarships, research grants and other incentives to STEM students.

4. Science and Technology: is a microcosm of Education.

5. Tourism: Only when these top 4 are in place, can we begin to look into our tourism potential and development.

This is the problem with Nigeria.

Those foolish elders are smiling when they haven't asked him the source of his wealth.

This is how conscience and morality is voluntarily mortgaged and sold.
That's why moral decadence thrives.

Shame on elders who can't do what elders are known for.
In a country where state governors cannot pay pensions.....a young man (who cares about his source of wealth) is giving back to his society and you are here ranting and typing gibberish. Imagine if every community in Nigeria had one philantropist as this....

Have you questioned the source of wealth of your political leaders? Does your church pastor question the source of your tithe? See NwaAmaikpe, no make me vex 4 you ooo

@OP, I will surely be a part of this if it comes to fruition. I will suggest at least a one million youth march in protest of this terrible government. I am also willing to make financial donations towards this if need be.

You see how useless you people are? Instead of working to prove the old man wrong and show the world he doesn't know what he is saying you are here looking for how to protest? The time you are wasting to protest should be better utilized in seeking a capable and much more efficient leader who will replace the Man.
I laugh at your stupidity. So only jobless people protest? You mean all youths are not currently working? Where do you originate from? I need to know so that I can confirm the geopolitical zone your foolishness emanated from. Little wonder there is a culture of impunity at all levels of government. You and your likes are either cowards or beneficiaries of the systemic corruption and injustice that has become endemic in this current administration. I pity for you because when the country will burn, there will be no promised future for your children. Continue mortgaging your future and that of your children. You hear?

i feel it is schizophrenia. Similar thing happened to my mun and we failed to follow same path instead we followed the ojuju thing which they said once worked but that shit didn't work again. But the bottom line is when something bad happens to them and they don't share it....pple like them sink into depression which can be so hazardous. This thing has ruined my family completely
sorry about your family bro. We rarely seek the attention of mental health facilities thinking that only completely insane people needs attention. But the truth is many of us experience depression as a result of what we go through. We need to watch closely and seek good healthcare instead of always attributing everything to spiritual forces. Time will not permit me to narrate how my sister's case began and what we went through for 3 years.

Yes you are true, the mum must be suffering in silence which unfortunately the children that are to support her have been brain washed by their dad and the 2nd wife. 80% of women in psychiatric hospital today are there because of what men did to them. How can the Dad marry a second wife in a rented apartment and still sat it is because the mother is not working he is unable to send the kids to school but he has the money to marry a second wife. Please don't forget the fact that they must have dated for long before eventually bringing the woman in . only God knows wat they did to your mum. The op is actually not talking likely matured dude. If care is not taken , you will never get anytging good from your dad courtesy the new wife. Stand up and fight for your mother and please take care of her. I use to think my mum was mean toy Dad when I was young, until later when I got married , she later sat me down to tell all wat she faced. Please I am sure she has a lot to say.
very true bro.

I feel really bad tonight and I wish I could be of help to OP's mum.

A lot of Nigerians are yet to come to the reality that mental illness is real and a lot of us are living with it. It's not until you run unclad on the streets. Depression, hyperreligiousity, anger, aggressiveness, seclusion and hallucinations are all signs of mental illnesses which can be triggered by a lot of factors.

People need to check themselves into hospitals to see psychologists or pyschiatrists especially when they feel they are over stressed or undergoing an emotional phase. You need to see the rich and beautiful people I met at the hospital during my sister's stay and you begin to wonder "what went wrong with these people?"

It can happen to anyone....all they need is love and proper care.

@OP, your mum is suffering paranoia or bi-polar disorder. Now, I am very authoritative about this because while I read about your mum's behaviour, withdrawal symptoms and religious belief/fear about everything irrelevant, I saw my sister again.

When my sister started hers, it was really terrible. Better thank God that your mum is not violent. Imagine returning from work to meet all your clothes burnt because your sister thinks they are satanic. I used to be very angry with my sister, thinking she did all she was doing on purpose.....until I got a better understanding.

Not until we took her to a pyschiatric hospital and ensured she was placed on admission till she got better. Even then, she had to be on drugs for a long time and we ensured she took her drugs religiously. I later started feeling pity for her instead of anger. It's not your mum's fault. Something must have happened to her which she didnt share and she prolly sank into depression which has worsened her mental health. Please take care of your mum and God will reward you for it.

PS: You sound unnecessarily rude, there's no need for that. Opinions must always differ, learn to respect other people's view. Cheers!

Two words I hate hearing nowadays because they have been severely overused and abused on social media
1) slay - anyone that can take off their cloths or dress like a slut is a slay queen on social media

2) feminist - anyone that has been frustrated by men and now devotes their entire life to insulting everything that looks like a man will claim to be a feminist on social media.

The person above me is a perfect example of number 2

I wish I can delete these words from existence

Back to the topic:

The ratio of women to men that are bread winners is like 1 to 1,000,000 so what are you people whining about? If you are talking about gender equality then using your analogy to press your argument is totally baseless. All these fake ass feminist e-rats need to grow up. Trying to compare yourselves to men and doing everything you can to put men down isn't feminism it is just stupidity. This is why couples in this generation are finding it hard to stay married because instead of being companions they are competitors
wisdom no go kill you bro....nice thought
